This was a fascinating overview of eastern Germany, with the addition of a couple days in Poland, where we learned so much about the GDR era. The Merlijn is a beautiful ship, and the crew catered to all of our needs. The guide was an upbeat, knowledgeable Dutch woman who kept us laughing. The bicycles were perfect for the job. And the meals were heavenly!

The trip was very well organized. The gps routes were spot on. Lots of turns in a few areas but that’s a small price to pay to stay off main roads.
Paul (our local tour representative) was excellent. His pickup, drop off and bike setup and sizing were efficient and timely. His instructions, recommendations and advice were indispensable. And a fun guy!
So a great ride, seeing small towns and countryside at a relaxing pace. The hotels were all wonderful with very good breakfasts. Our only regret was not having opted for an extra night in Óbidos and Sintra. But we didn’t know that until we were already in the towns.- What was the date of your tour?

This was our (3) time riding the “Passau to Vienna “ tour. Such a beautiful experience.
I caught an illness on our flight from the states. Ended up being transported by ambulance to the hospital. Was unable to ride the next day.
Tour operator arranged to have us and our bikes transported by a van to the next hotel.

Celebrating my 70th birthday on Magnifique II was a special surprise! Everything on board was above expectations. Clean, comfortable, invigorating. Meals were first class!
I would recommend bringing eco friendly containers for lunch items as you will prepare your own lunch to take with you on the ride.Bike guides were informative and knowledgeable about sites and enhanced the experience.
Definitely recommend!

· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
We did a self guided tour. We had so much fun in the villages with great food and accommodations, most were in the center of the towns. Great breakfasts and service in general. Felt fantastic to ride on the safe bike trails about 3/4 hours daily. We took time off to swim in the lake and get ice cream and relax in the many parks. Great history and a way to immerse more authentically in the vulture. I give this type of holiday my highest recommendation.

We had a blast on this trip — loved getting to see a bunch of small towns that we otherwise would never have visited. The biking was amazing (very very glad we sprung for e-bikes though!) and it was so great to arrive to our destination each day and have all our luggage already waiting for us! Would absolutely book another trip.

Dieter and McKaela were fantastic. They ensured a flawless week. From bag service to roadside picnics to history lessons, they absolutely knocked it out of the park.
My only suggestion is we had fish and small potatoes 4 mights in a row. It was disappointing not being able to select our entree at dinner. Even 2-3 choices would've been acceptable and we could've provided this in advance.

Fantastic bike tour through the Swedish countryside

Very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. However it would have been more enjoyable to have had the opportunity to spend more time exploring two of the villages. Maybe a two night stay in both Trosa and Mariefred. The tour of Gripsholm Castle was hurried and disappointed that two of the churches we stopped at during our ride weren’t open! Overall a wonderful time! Dieter and Michele were both very accommodating and nice.

This was a trip of lifetime! The Trip Leader was very kind, caring and conscientious. His colleague also provided outstanding support and assistance throughout the trip. The riding was beautiful, safe and an excellent pace. The bikes, hotels, food and historical and cultural tours/visits were all beyond excellent!

· Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
We have been on a previous biketours.com offered ride in Austria and had certain expectations. The scenery was great but the navigation maps (especially digital) were lacking. The app for navigation and it was not responsive enough for making correct turns. I downloaded the digital files and tried to load them onto a ride app, Ride With GPS, but the files were so disorganized I had to completely re-trace the route for the 3 of the days we rode. Unlike a previous reviewer, I think the last day route from Gradisca d'Isonzo to Treiste was not that treacherous, probably because we took the more hilly alternate route through the countryside. Not very many cars and the rest were respectful of bikes on the road. I was very glad I had a triple front chain ring though because I was in the lowest gear on many hills (my wife had an ebike and met me at the top of every hill :-) ).

Wow! - what a fantastic experience gliding down the stunning Danube. The itinerary was first class - our bikes were just great while the accommodation, meals & service on the 'Manon' were all excellent. It really was an experience of a lifetime riding adjacent to the Danube on high quality pathways a lot of the time while also exploring some stunning sights along the way including some gorgeous towns.

· Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
Definitely recommend this trip. Scenery is stunning; hotels were great. Lakes provided a great way to cool off after each bike ride. Route is very easy to follow - very reliable signage for "Lakes Route #9" throughout the ride, so didn't have to rely on GPS much at all, which was nice - got to take in the views instead of constantly checking map to see if we were on track. I rode a normal bike, while my significant other rode a E-bike. Was perfect for both us based on our level of cycling. Lastly, hotels totally set up for e-bike charging + great breakfasts in the morning prior to each ride. Fun Times!
