One of the best travel experiences we've ever had. The itinerary was very well put together ensuring enough time to visit some of the most spectacular gems Slovenia has to offer. Accommodations were very very good too - a real mix which made things interesting i.e. not the same old each time. Bikes were great - the app was excellent which we relied on heavily esp getting in/out of larger towns/cities. All in all, an unforgettable experience.

Wow! - what a fantastic experience gliding down the stunning Danube. The itinerary was first class - our bikes were just great while the accommodation, meals & service on the 'Manon' were all excellent. It really was an experience of a lifetime riding adjacent to the Danube on high quality pathways a lot of the time while also exploring some stunning sights along the way including some gorgeous towns.

This was one of the most (if not THE most) enjoyable tour we have done in Europe with Biketours.com
The itinerary was excellent - each day was quite different. Some of the little portside villages we called into were exquisite as were the local people & food we enjoyed along the way. The bikes were superb as was the navigation system which never let us down. The briefing we received at Sparta (Fotus) & support along the way was first class. A wonderful way to experience the sights, smells & sounds of a beautiful country - this is a very well put-together tour programme that has real variety. The various ferry rides were great fun - such quiet impressive vessels & so easy to use. The natural scenery is breath-taking & builds very nicely from the time you arrive in Bergen to the final day riding the amazing Romantic route - both so memorable. A special shout-out to the tour operator, who are the host providers for this ride. They are wonderful people - so warm, welcoming & helpful. They really did add significantly to our enjoyment of this highly recommended ride. Thank you so much for your superb hospitality. Staying in some of the most amazing hotels notably the Kviknes, Walaker & Hofslund Fjord was truly a very special unique experience. We will always remember the many swims we had in those stunning fiords & the awesome beauty of Norway.

· Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
we were drawn into the sumptuous landscape of the Peloponnese from the first kilometers of our ride around Tripoli, as were taken (by GPS) intimately through a wonderful and beautiful landcape. the second day was largely a continuation of the first, until the farmland gave way to the coast. the following day was perhaps the most beautiful as we climbed along the coast reminiscent of Big Sur, though the water below was utterly, and achingly the turquoise color only found along the Aegean. the route eventually took us inland to the archaeological site of Argos on the Plain, and finally Nafplio, a small seaside village with a Byzantine past. it was a glorious day. while the remainder of the our riding revolved around the nearby archaeological sites—Mycenae and Epidaurus—the landscape remained the draw. an exceptional countryside, highly recommended.

The Best Way to Experience Dutch Culture in the Netherlands is soaking up all the culture and vast landscapes by bike. The towns were beautiful and the routes did not have much traffic. The majority of this tour is flat and takes place on quite bike routes which are very scenic and calm. The guides were more than helpful, patient and knowledgeable assuring everyone in the group was safe and offered knowledge about the areas (thanks Hans!). The accommodations aboard the Maginifique II were more than I expected, very comfortable and clean. The crew was fantastic and so much fun! Our meals were superb as the chef was amazing. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore Holland. Thank you Biketours.com, great job!

We were a small Group of 4, renting 2 regular bikes and 2 e-bikes. The bikes vere new and very well kept. The ladies found the e-bikes very comfortable, they were easy to handle and lightweight with enough battery to help extra in all uphills.
The Hotels on the trip were comfortable 4 stars and all except one, a very special one, The Letterman, had elevators to ease taking our luggage to Rooms. We enjoyed the stay at The Letterman anyway, never been to a hotel with that amount of books everwhere.
Our tour was selfguided and the route for every day was easy to find with the app « Ride with GPS» and GPX files to choose from. We liked the simple and effecient mounting of our phones at our steeringbars.
We can understand there was no offer going this Trip from south to north, as prevailing winds from the Atlantic were North/northwest and ofte gave an extra push from behind.
The app «Trip plans» was a new and very good guide and help for the whole Trip. We have been going on such bicycle trips for 20 years in Europe and never had somerhing like that, We love it! Thank you, and We recommend this Trip.- What was the date of your tour?

Amazing Historical sights as well as beautifu lAtlantic coast scenery.

This was definitely a trip of a lifetime. We added extra nights at several of the towns, so we could enjoy many of the gorgeous seaside towns and sights. We upgraded for ocean views and it was spectacular. Although we were not prepared for the strenuous climbs on several of the days nor the difficulty on the hybrid route.The hybrid route was more like mountain biking. I strongly recommend e bikes. two iphones and a back up battery power pak to ensure you don't run out of power before you arrive at each town. This gives you offline excellent directions. Miriam was our planner with bike tours and she spent many hours answering questions in a timely manner and helping us plan lots of the details. I would highly recommend her as an agent with Bike Tours. We have done most of our 10 European trips with Bike Tours and it is by far the best company we have used. Our next couple trips will be Scotland,the Danube to Budapest or the Rhine. If you want to enjoy smaller less crowded towns, go on a bike trip. Start or end with a larger more commercial city.
Breakfast although always the same were very delicious at each stop. Of the towns visited Sintra was historic with beautiful castle and palace, but Ericeria was beautiful seaside experience. Be sure you book an extra night in Peniche and arrange to go to Berlengas via boat. Well worth it and take the glass bottom boat there or rent a kayak and paddle around. Good little restaurant there also.
All around this trip was a 10!!!! Will post a few pictures in the next week. I have over 1,000 so want to post the best ones.- What was the date of your tour?

Our guide, Daniel with Creative Catalonia, was always aware of our safety. He was knowledgeable about the things we were seeing. If he didn't know the answer to questions, we'd often receive an email that evening containing an answer. We got to see some amazing sites. The hotels were very nice & resturants we were directed to were usually really good. He made sure that our bikes were all in good, working condition.

Richie from BikeTours.com and the boat staff were just great - helpful, organized, and fun!
The boat is older but being retired. Having said that, other than rough towels that needed replacing, and controlling the temperature in our cabin, the dining, lounge, lido deck, and entertainment were perfect. It's a laid back experience compared to the large ocean cruise ships which created a very 'family-oriented' feel. The scenery, historical sites, and biking in mainly Austria was just great - Austria is very well set-up for biking usually out of any car traffic. Riding along the Danube river through Austria to Vienna was a wonderful experience. Everything was very well organised, from bike collection, through route guidance, accommodation and support. The riding is easy, though on our ride we did encounter some strong head winds. There is spectacular scenery and interesting villages to keep interest up. We thoroughly recommend the bike tour.

This was our first group bike tour and we could not have been happier. Albania is an amazing country to visit.
Biking- the daily biking takes you through outstanding scenery ranging from lake views, forest, mountain views, rural agriculture farms to palm tree lines views of the Ionian Sea. The roads were generally great with some rough spots in the mountains. Traffic was light, just needed to share the road with goats, sheep and horse drawn wagons.
Food- the meals were served family style giving us the opportunity to try lots of different thing we would not normally be able to do on our own. We were served lots of fresh vegetables, cheese and bread. No one ever went away from the table hungry. Would love to get recipes for several of the dishes we were served. We visited several outstanding restaurants with service and awesome decor.
Lodging- the hotel selection was very comfortable with good beds and pillows. Location and views very good. One area that could use improvement is the shower facilities in a few of our lodging locations. The service provided by our Albanian lodging owners was very friendly and helpful.
Guides- our biking guide was Demetrie and he did a fantastic job, I can not say enough good about his job performance. His historical knowledge of the country was outstanding. We really appreciated the personal insights he contributed every day of our tour. We learned so much about the country that we never would have without taking a guided bike tour. The support vehicle driver, Bato, was always there when you needed him. Constantly filling water bottles and helping with luggage all with a smile.
I encourage you to take advantage of this outstanding tour. It was great to met fellow bikers from around the world and share time and make new friendships.

The bike tour was a fantastic experience with great views and fantastic food. Cycling through the small fishing towns and visiting with the locals is a great way to explore the cultural. On our first day we experienced some minor issues with one of our bikes. We were able to continue riding and within a short time had a replacement bicycle delivered to us. The local bike tour company was very helpful. The trails and path’s took us by so many amazing sights it was hard to take it all in. The hotels, with the exception of one, were fantastic and had in great locations. The dining options are plentiful and prices were very reasonable. We used GPS navigation which makes the ride much more enjoyable as you don’t have to constantly be stopping to read instructions. We used the Garmin device from the tour company and they also provided the daily route information for us to load in the Ride With GPS app. The last two days we did experience some hills. My wife appreciated the e-bike.

This bike tour was a history lesson on wheels. We started by visiting the WW1 Museum for an amazing experience. Deyan, the owner of the tour company and our guide and daily history lesson instructor was outstanding! His knowledge and enthusiasm of the local history came shining through in his daily lessons. The ride takes you past a large variety of terrain from rolling fields of corn, sunflower and wheat to large orchards of apricots, cherries and peaches. The riding surface included asphalt, dirt and gravel roads. At one point we cycled on an ancient Roman road along the Danube River. We experienced amazing views while riding along the coast off the Black Sea. We had two spur of the moment stops to visit with some locals making traditional Bulgarian Lutenitsa. The locals were eager to share the tradition of making this delicious Bulgarian treat.
Romania and Bulgaria are two countries that are climbing in tourism. Plan your visit before they become new tourists hot spots. You won’t regret it.
As always bike tours are a great way to experience local culture and make new friends at a relaxed pace.
