Great way to see this town.
Ljubljana Highlights Bike Tour
Ljublijana is super bike friendly. The cars and people are all super aware of cyclists which makes biking through this city super fun and safe. I think the city proper has over 200km of paths including the Trail of Remembrance encircling the city. (Our hotel concierge gave us a map to it.) Folks are friendly, food was yummy and cheap...very cool way to get the lay of the land of this town.

What an incredible and fun way to see Lyon! The e-bikes made conquering Fourvière Hill an absolute breeze, leaving plenty of energy to fully enjoy the dazzling light and video displays inside the unique Tunnel de la Croix-Rousse. Capping it all off with the delicious, authentic food tasting was the perfect finale to a truly adventurous and diverse day of sightseeing.

Great rides, not so great organization
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
The rides to beautiful valleys was amazing and very enjoyable. The company FunActive was not well organized in terms of transfers to start or end points. Bicycles required better maintenance and bicycles were misplaced by the company on the first day. In hindsight if I was to do this again, I would book my own hotel, rent the bikes for a week and do the routes independently.

Dolomites to Lake Garda: Picturesque Cities and Stunning Scenery
Seriously. First two days were outstanding forest and river stretches. Last couple of days were a bit more urban and flat, but still nice riding. And the towns were all beautiful.

Quiet streets in the offseason
Sardinia: A Mine of Memories
We had a great tour. The local operator provided excellent support throughout. Though many restaurants are closed in the winter (we went in January), one can always find something. And the tradeoff is no traffic on the roads. For the final day ride along the coast we only had a handful of cars. It would be crazy busy in the summertime.

Great Trip In Every Way
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique III (and reverse)
We had a great time biking from Amsterdam to Bruges. For those concerned about biking so much, this is a very flat ride; easy on a road bike in my estimation, though many had E Bikes. The Magnifique III was beautiful, comfortable, and offered a great team of guides and hospitality professionals who took great care of us. A few of the days of the tour were not as exciting of a ride as far as what you see, but most days were beautiful, varied and offered unique experiences such as a bike museum where we got to ride some crazy bikes, a canal tour in Ghent, a city tour in Antwerp, a visit to an incredible workshop of a local craftsman. It rained a few days but we were prepared and it didn't bother us. So much fun. Get out there and enjoy an active vacation on a bike; you will not be sorry!
