Wonderful Trip
Bike and Boat Croatia’s Dalmatia Coast
This boat trip was very good. We rode bikes, played in the Adriatic Sea, went to wineries, ate incredible chocolate, kayaked around Dubrovnik walled city, rafted down the gorgeous Centina River and ate incredible food. It was almost a perfect trip. I had one large misgiving. There were two boats on the trip. On one boat they had a couple of people get COVID. This information was not passed on to our boat. We interacted with that boat and were on the boat one night. Just yesterday one of our group came down with COVID. Protocol was followed except information was not passed along to us passengers. Giving passengers free choice as to what to do by being transparent was not followed.

Great trip except for first destination.
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This is the second time I've taken this tour with my friends. We liked it so much 6 years ago that we were interested in returning. All the destinations and accommodations were better than previously except for the first destination. Instead of stopping in Stein am Rhein, a beautiful medieval town, they booked us into Gailingen, a town that took us another hour to get to, and was not the charming experience we had to forgo. The trail up the steep hill was more suitable for a mountain bike, not the hybrids that we had. As we came down the steep hill the next morning one of our group had a nasty fall and had to rent an ebike to complete the trip. The hotel staff was also not friendly. They refused to serve us tap water and would only offer bottled water at 6 euros/bottle. This was a terrible way to start our trip. If you go around this beautiful lake, insist on staying in Stein am Rhein.
Also, we stayed an extra night in Uberlingen. Definitely worth an extra day to spend time at the thermal baths.- What was the date of your tour?

Pulia heel of the boot Italy
Apulia and Basilicata: Alberobello to Lecce
We 4 seniors really enjoyed our bike trip. The second last day was more challenging than we expected. Route was well signed with small arrows except into Lecce. Bikes heavy but reliable and comfortable.

Fun Trip
Apulia and Basilicata: Alberobello to Lecce
We were on a self guided trip but wound up meeting several fun people we wound up riding with. Scenery was great, the bikes were excellent and well suited to the ride. The accommodations ranged from good to excellent and we found the locals to be engaging and often very helpful. It seemed as though they were happy we were there. One of the bigger surprises was the quality of the local wines. They were excellent and very reasonably priced. The written directions were sometimes a bit confusing, but frankly that added to the fun and adventure. On some of the longer stretches in the countryside it was difficult to find water so it is a good idea to carry an extra bottle in your pannier.

It was an adventure!
Tuscany and Umbria: Cycling in the Heart of Italy
Beautiful trip through Umbria and Tuscany; although the elevation on some days was more than we expected. The views were spectacular, and all of the accommodations were excellent. Loved the B&B in Castiglione del Lago - it was our favorite. Could have used more tips of places to see along the way, such as wineries, local farms, etc. Ecologico Tours did a great job organizing the trip, the bikes were top notch, and they were very accommodating in helping us switch out our pedals, provide carriers, etc.

First Bike Adventure
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
The bikes were very good and the bike company most helpful. Accomodation and breakfasts were also good. Only issue is the maps provided especially around towns and attractions were not very good - definitely could be improved. In summary great trip, with the locals very helpful when we were lost.

My first time in Italy
Dolomites to Venice Along the Old Dolomites Railway Track
We had a wonderful days in Italy biking from Toblach to Mestre. The bikes was very fine and the hotels too. When we had a rainy days and came very wet to our hotels there where lack of places where we could dry our things. All the hotels where very good with nice staff, good rooms and bed and breakfast and save place for our bikes. Everything from Bike tours was 100 % and we will definitely find another trip with them. Thank you.

Beautiful Slovenia
Emerald Tour of Slovenia’s Gems
This was an excellent tour to see the diversity of Slovenia's landscape! I highly recommend the e-bikes as it was hillier than expected (and e-bikes are just fun!) Everything went smoothly, especially the weather this late in the season (we went in mid October). Highly recommend!

A wonderful trip
Dolomites to Venice Along the Old Dolomites Railway Track
This is a wonderful trip. The scenery is breath taking, the hotels are friendly and well run and there is great food to be enjoyed. The organization was first rate, both at Biketours in the US and through their affiliate in Italy. I'd do it again and invite friends to join us. But I'd do it in late spring rather than summer - it does get hot and humid in July. I'd also try to schedule some rest days in cities like Belluno and Trieste that would be fun to explore more of.
We got lost several times despite the excellent tour documentation. Do keep an eye out for the trail markers and ensure your mobile is charged. Thank goodness for Google Maps!

Marvelous variety of views and experiences, geology and wonderful food. This was our second time and we had a blast. Despite one hiccup with the wrong hotel, Biketours looked after us well. Highly recommended

An epic trip!
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
It was our first bike trip (10/5/24 to 10/12/24) and exceeded our expectations on every level. It all felt seamless, from the ease of booking our guided tour through to the final transfer to the airport. The itinerary was well planned and each destination was captivating. The accommodations were very comfortable and charming. Our two guides, Alex and Alex (Juro) were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They went above and beyond in every way to make the journey especially memorable. Finally, the cost of this trip was reasonable compared to other operators offering similar tours. Fantastic Bike/Barge Trip
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
This Brugge to Amsterdam bike and barge trip exceeded our expectations in many ways. The barge was deluxe, clean and comfortable and the food was good. We had an upper level stateroom and think it was worth the cost.
The biking was easy although there were very strong winds a few times. We tried e bikes. About half the riders used them. This was our first experience with e bikes but at age 66 I will rent one again although we are long time , long distance cyclists.
We did expect more independent cycling and some cycling instruction for new riders riding in a large group. However, the route was tricky with so many paths to take so we stayed in the group. The small towns and scenery were a wonderful experience. The guides and boat crew were very knowledgeable and personable.
We will look for a similar experience in the future.

Best way to discover the country
Dubrovnik Bike Tour with Wine Tasting
We had a rainy day but a fantastic ride into the country. First time using e-bikes and they were very helpful with the many hills. The wine tasting was very informative and fun. Our local guide Joseph was very helpful and flexible to ensure we had a good experience. This was an excellent way to feel and smell the country side.

Fabulous trip cycling in Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro.
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
The cycling was harder than we thought and it was good that we did some training before hand. This made it more enjoyable. The group was large for one guide and mixed fitness levels with different bikes caused a big gap. Hotels were lovely and generally food good but not sure the type of food at lunch is really what you want in the baking hot sunshine cycling 60km. Gluten Free options
were poor and not explained to the guide. Guides both knowledgeable and the weather and views were superb. Loved being on a guided one and them taking the luggage. Really helped experience seeing all the different countries and a great way to do it. Would definitely like to do another one.- What was the date of your tour?
