Holland at tulip time on bikes and a boat is pretty amazing. Our group was quite small but mixed together very well. Then our guides! Thomas and Hans, along with intern, Angela, added the extra touch with extra night time excursions and extra attention for all.
We did spend an entire day riding in the rain (touring Keurkhoff). In one respect it made the day a bit miserable, but at the same time the rainy day was indicative of Holland and added to the overall experience. John was our tour guide and he was super funny and thought us a lot about San Francisco and it’s history. If you only bike/walk you would miss all this interesting information. The tour gave us a great impression of the city. John always gives you the opportunity to take pictures and take breaks if needed (we didn’t, but it still made us feel good and looked after). 10/10 would do it again!

Great way to see and feel the country and the food was amazing. the restaurants selected by the tour company were all excellent, just a little too much food. the bike paths were also wonderful with very little street riding and when we did need to ride on the street, the traffic was light. The tour company could have given us better instructions regarding use of the GPS and odometer. We were never able to get the odometers to work. we missed the parmigiana tasting since the GPS instructions were not clear. the GPS loop rides were also not clear and we missed the turn offs on a few occasions.

The self-guided Algarve coastal trip was amazing in every way! Varied landscapes and terrain, beautiful coastal, farmland, marshland, and city views. GPS worked great and was mandatory given all the turns. Hotels were fantastic, usually ocean views, 4 stars, and amazing breakfasts.

The biking trip was fantastic. It was our first time doing a biking trip and this experience was wonderful. Everyone who helped us was truly great. I had many questions before signing up and after. The personnel in the United States were patient and informative. The man who delivered our bikes was truly a wonderful and helpful person. We were on a self-guided tour and we had trouble getting out of Sevilla and he went out of his way to assist us and make sure we were on the right track. The bikes were absolutely great. We are both 65 years old and consequently decided to use e-bikes. The GPS was a must and incredibly helpful as was the guidebook presented to us upon arrival in our first hotels. The hotels by and large were excellent. Maybe one exception was the one in Jerez. The route was well thought out and incredibly diverse. One day biking on farming roads, dirt roads, the via Verde ( an old rail-trail), one day amongst estuaries heading into Cadiz. It was an unbelievable breathtaking way to see the country. We met so many lovely people along the way in small town bars and restaurants. The day after we turned in the bikes we wanted to start a new biking trip.

This bike tour was a fantastic way to see all the historical monuments and having a guide full of useful information gave depth to the places we visited. Will definitely be taking advantage of biking day tours in the future because you can cover a lot more ground in a short amount of time. I loved seeing the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall, so much history, absolutely amazing!!!

A fun way to learn about history!
· Washington DC Monuments & Memorials Bike Tour
This was such a comprehensive tour of the National Mall monuments and memorials. My husband and I had a great time riding our bikes, learning about our country's history, and taking photos of the memorable sites. Our guides were very knowledgeable DC locals. I learned new facts and fun trivia tidbits. Did you know there is a time capsule at the MLK Jr Monument? The pace of the tour is leisurely, with plenty of stops to experience the monuments and memorials, take pictures, or get refreshments.

A great way to see the main monuments of DC

While I was anticipating a more bike-intensive tour, I was pleasantly surprised at the historical emphasis of this ride. The biking was easy and leisurely, we only rode about 10 minutes between each monument. But, the guides were super knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight into the cultural and historical significance of each place. It was a perfect way to explore and learn about the city. Would definitely do it again with someone who's never been to DC. Also, the shop was super organized, we got our bikes assigned and fitted in no time.

Captain Willy and crew were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Our bike tour guide Michela was very safety conscious as well as informative and inclusive, all done with her Italian humour! The schedule was packed but never rushed. It helped that our group was cohesive and respectful of each other…and punctual! The food was excellent and our bow berth beyond expectations.

The best way to explore the National Mall area
· Washington DC Monuments & Memorials Bike Tour
I took this tour the first day I got to DC, with the idea to see most of the Mall area and visit all its major landmarks, and it completely stood up to my expectations. The bike store is so conveniently located, so the bike pickup was practically on my way downtown. Surprisingly, all bikes were in great condition, almost new.
The tour program is great, it took us to all the main points of the area, with our knowledgeable guides telling stories about each of the places.
Since I love long-distance biking, and this tour is leisurely paced, I kept my bike for the entire day, and in the afternoon, I cycled to Alexandria and took lunch there. It's an amazing ride, with a bike path all along the way, which takes you directly to the charming not-to-be-missed old town of Alexandria.

I recently went on this bike tour and had an amazing experience! The tour guide was knowledgeable about the city and provided us with interesting information about the history and culture of the places we visited. The route we took was scenic and well-planned, with plenty of stops for photos and rest breaks.
The bikes provided were in excellent condition and comfortable to ride.
Overall, I highly recommend New York City Highlights tour to anyone looking for a fun and informative bike tour. It was a great way to explore this immense city and learn about its history.

· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This bike route is in a gorgeous area of Europe and VERY POPULAR, even during Season B. During high season, the paths around Lake Constance must be like L.A. during rush hour traffic! The pathways are a mixture and dedicated for bicyclists, shared with pedestrians, shared with slow moving traffic and through busy towns and quiet villages. It's mostly paved and the scenery is generally good to great. You pass through some limited commercial/industrial areas. Be alert for packs of fast paced road bikers and keep to the right, thus allowing them to retain high speeds as they are training for imaginary slots in the Tour de France. Some e-bikers are in fast mode as well.
If traveling by train in Germany to/from Konstanz, the DB Navigator smartphone application is good. The initial/last accommodation, Hotel Halm, is located perfectly across the street from the bahnhof in Konstanz. You are given a local transit pass (that you've paid for indirectly), which allows you to hop on bus #6 at the bahnhof and puts you within about two blocks of the bike shop, where you will gather your rigs. Staff are great at the bike shop. Riding from the shop back to the hotel is easy and mostly on a bike path. Taking a taxi to the bike shop is spendy despite the short distance.
The bikes are heavy, entirely suitable and well maintained. They have a much higher center of gravity than typical bikes and are like a supertanker as to maneuvering in tight quarters. Adjust your riding style, mounting/dismounting techniques accordingly.
The mapping is inadequate. Refresh your vocabulary in advance. We loaded an inexpensive Airalo e-sim good for the region, is inexpensive (3 GB data, $13) and valuable. There were some cell phone dead zones, however. Almost all locals were more than helpful in redirecting us to the proper pathways. Adopt the concept of when first lost, immediately ask for help. Of note: departing Konstanz and staying on the bike route was a PITA. The same for transiting Radolzell.
The hotels were fine and served good to excellent breakfasts. Also provided is secure storage for bikes each night. How all bikes are stored during high season must require significant imagination by hotel staff. Two hotels were less than ideal as to locations, including Parkhotel St. Leonhard, which is on the edge of town and high on a bluff. The other is Hotel Restaurant Seegarten in Arbon, and located well away from the town and restaurants.

Spectacular! We would do it all over again tomorrow
· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
The perfect way to experience the plethora of quaint villages and perfect towns surrounding the lake. We would have done it all over again if we could have. The accommodations were perfect, luggage transport was seamless, breakfasts were delicious and bike paths were plentiful along the way. We will be doing another trek next year and another the year after.

· Strasbourg to Mainz: Imperial Cities and Charming Landscapes Along the Rhine
Thought I do this without any training - day one hurt but after that it became easier. The route selection was fantastic with changing scenery being a mix of river countryside and towns.
Ambling along stopping for photos food and drink made every day a joy and the distances meant we finished everyday mid afternoon.
