I toured solo but with the provided itinerary. It was such a comfort knowing my fresh clothes and a soft bed were awaiting my arrival at each stop. Every town was wonderful. I spent a bit longer in Garmisch, just because I loved it so. I’m a 58 year old healthy guy, but didn’t train at all for this trip. Next time, I would opt for an eBike. Extra cost but I think I could have had more energy and time to explore more.

Amazing bike ride in the countryside near Amsterdam with gorgeous scenery! If you have to choose one bike tour in Amsterdam, I’d highly recommend this one. Our guide was helpful, informative and made the whole experience very fun. If you are a novice biker or want a leisurely ride, I’d suggest the e-bike since it was the perfect way to see the sights without breaking a sweat. Great tour for solo travelers.

· Bilbao Underground Culture E-Bike Tour
It’s a great way to spend an afternoon in Bilbao. Our tour was on Sunday morning so the traffic was light. One of our cyclists fell off the bike but we were passing the bike shop on a loop of the river so they replaced the bike immediately and offered plasters and bandages. Our guide was very nice and showed us plenty of interesting street art en route. The tour was three hours long so you would need a moderate level of fitness. Good value and fun!

· Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
This year I did 4 European bike trips and this was my favorite. The scenery was gorgeous, the emerald pastureland, the craggy mountains some of them snow capped in august were amazing. We also loved all the bright flowers and the chalet style Swiss architecture that was everywhere. We were often serenaded by cow bells as we rode by. The roads were generally very low traffic. I’d do this tour again in a minute! There were significant hills to climb but the e-bikes we rented made the hills very doable for our group of active 67 to 82 year olds. We even conquered the approx. seven mile uphill with relative ease, no walking required. Since we are from florida we were worried about our ability to train for 4,000 feet of climbing but the e-bikes made it all doable. We didn’t take any of the possible short cuts (train or funicular) to eliminate hills as we didn’t want to miss any of the scenery. Instead of using the provided app for navigation we put the route in ride with gps so that we would have specific turn by turn direction to our hotel as well as the daily route. That worked really well for us. We also used the recommended Swiss mobility app and that was a very important tool as it shows biking and walking routes all over Switzerland. Of the many many bike tours I’ve done over the years this was my absolute favorite.

Really enjoyed the trip. Beautiful route getting into rolling hills although not difficult to bike with great off-road bike paths almost the whole way. Hotels were great with plentiful breakfasts.

This was an amazing experience through these regions of Italy. The guides were phenomenal, friendly, and always prepared for any contingencies. The hotel choices were great, same as the restaurants. I would personally like a bit more cycling every day but if that wasn’t an option, the trip is fantastic as it is. I can’t wait to go on another biking experience, highly recommend!

· Road Bike Tour from Dubrovnik to Herzegovina & Back
The trek from Dubrovnik to the small town of Ravno in Herzegovina return was exceptional as we were able to complete a 92km loop that only required us to backtrack one small section of the route.
Our Guide Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious.
One of the highlights of this journey was the great lunch at Hotel Stanica in Ravno prior to completing the return trek via Slano.

· Florence to Rome: Bike through the Heart of Italy
We biked with Rotalis and had two amazing guides. Our stays were beautiful and the ride through the Italian countryside was amazing. I had a scary fall off my bike and our guides helped me to the hospital and were there to make sure I was comfortable through the whole process. Even with needing stitches and bandaging, the trip was so so fun and I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in a different kind of travel experience.

· · Danube Bike and Boat: Passau-Budapest-Passau – MS SE-Manon
This was an amazing trip! From Passau to Bratislava, Budapest to Vienna and back to Passau. We had fantastic weather. The only challenging aspect was lack of clarity on the bike routes. The tour directors were challenged in explaining the routes; and the booklets were confusing because they did not shoe the entire routes.
The meals were great; our room service were very responsive, and the bar servers were great.

We loved our cycling trip along the Danube; it was a memorable experience in so many ways. The bike paths were well marked and made the ride so enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful, and we loved each day and the cities and towns we had a chance to visit. The accommodation was fabulous - each hotel/inn was beautiful and unique and we were welcomed with incredible European hospitality. Our luggage transfer was seamless, without a glitch the entire trip and made the arrival (and departure) so easy for us on both ends. This was our first bike and barge tour and it didn't disappoint! We found that we prefer it to regular river cruising. · Salzburg Lakes Tour: Around the Lakes within the Foothills of the Alps
This was probably the most scenic tour we've taken. Lake Constance a close second. Hotels, E-bikes, orientation, the navigation app were all as advertised --- 5 star!! Of course we did have perfect weather for the entire trip except for our planned rest day in Bad Goisern. Hallstatt has become a tourist hotspot and I would suggest spending your time at the Dachstein Ice Caves instead of too much time in Hallstatt. The last day riding back into Salzburg was the best with lots of climbing but worth the effort for scenery and the downhill switchbacks. Ebikes are definitely recommended even if you are an avid and fit biker.

Feel Adventurous at Ease

Exploring the German, Swiss and Austrian country side and small towns and cities was such a unique experience. From the moment I arrived to my first hotel to the moment I arrived at my last it was an incredibly easy trip. You are given a map of the area and a guide book to tell you which towns you should go to and what interesting things are in each town and you are free to do as little or as much as you like.
You are also free to make your way from town to town as directly or indirectly as you like.
The bike trail is pretty easy to follow, minus the occasional area that isn’t amazingly well marked, but that has nothing to do with the tour company.
The hotels were all really nice and the breakfasts provided ranged from good to absolutely amazing.- Countries included in this tour?

From start to finish this Albania tour was excellent in every way. The guides. The support van. The itinerary. The details. The hotels. The food. I could go on an on! What made it great were the guides first and foremost. Dimitri, Mateo and our van driver VC...all were friendly, professional and made sure every special request was granted. Even the coffee stops were at magical places -- all selected for their views, their historic significance and the culture. I just can't even describe what a wonderful time we had...and the group we traveled with were wonderful too! No whiners!! I had suffered a compression fracture in my back a few weeks prior to the trip so had to occasionally ride in the support van and Dimitri let me know if there were any rough roads that day. There were very few gravel sections, btw. The e-bikes we rented were top quality too! I say GO...before Albania is crowded with tourists!! We have traveled around the world and Albania was among the most gorgeous countries we have experienced! And you cannot beat the price of a guided trip!!

The guided rides along the Main River kept my interest as we passed through the small villages between Nuremberg and Wurzburg. There was even an Old Town Beer Festival and parade in Nuremberg at the start of the tour. Staying on board the Merlijn made the trip so easy--the captain and crew kept everyone happy. And Tomas, our guide knew the best bakeries to stop at for morning snacks each day. The route was mostly on protected cycle paths along the river. And the weather was breezy and sunny all week. A perfect biking week.
