A Great Austrian Cycling Adventure
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
The trip met or exceeded our expectations. We travelled in the shoulder season but still expected the bike trail to be packed. It wasn't, except for perhaps the last day of our ride into Vienna, which was a Sunday so there was a lot of locals enjoying the beautiful trail and scenery. That would likely be mitigated by planning one's arrival in Vienna for a weekday.
Generally the accommodations lived up to the "upscale" designation, but there were two exceptions that were for us, just mediocre at best. That could simply be that there wasn't anything nicer in those locations.
The local tour company was great, and very responsive to our needs. The bikes were fine--clearly built for wear and tear. The luggage service was perfect, and our bags were always waiting for us when we arrived.
The Danube bike trail lived up to our expectations in beauty and condition. We'd recommend this ride to anyone who enjoys bicycle travel.

Better than I had hoped
Danube Experience Bike and Boat Passau-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Iron Gates-Passau
Everything about the ship was five star. The food was shockingly good. I had been on other bike tour companies with the food was very good for almost twice the price. The staff were all wonderful especially our waiter Samir. The boat was very comfortable and exceedingly well-maintained. We booked through Biketours.com who did an excellent job. The tours can be booked directly with rad and risen an Austrian company but it was the same price. It was an excellent value and I’m already daydreaming about a river cruise with bike in barge in the future.

Great trip around Lake Konstanz
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This was an easy 5 day bike ride around a beautiful lake with lots to see and do along the way. We used the rental bikes and they looked so heavy that I thought I'd never be able to ride it, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very easy to pedal and well suited to all terrains we subjected them to. I can't think of a single suggestion for improvement.

Great trip on the Algarve coast!
Algarve Coastal Route
This was a very enjoyable trip on the Algarve coast. The route was easy to follow on the GPS and the bikes worked flawlessly. But the accommodations were the real stars. Each place we stayed was superb. We had a great time and highly recommend this trip on the southern coast of Portugal.

Great Tour of Albania!
UNESCO Sites of Albania
The guided tour of Albania was awesome. The cycling was really good, maybe a little harder than expected in the mountains. But well worth it. We climbed Llogara Pass which was an epic ride, followed by a 20 mile downhill.
The food and accommodations were really super good. No complaints at all there.
But what made the tour standout was our guide Arjan, and the van driver Enis. Those guys were great and we were all family right off the bat. They took good care of us every day we were with them. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Albania is a beautiful country with super cool people.- What was the date of your tour?

Lakeside Spinners at Lake Constance
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This was our very first bike tour, and self-guided tour. We met up with friends who had taken a few tours in the past with biketours.com. We had an absolute fabulous time. The hotels selected by Biketours were awesome. The route was spectacular. The bikes and the bike company were great to us. And being with 10 friends for 6 days was the best time of our lives.

Dream trip!
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
Cycling is such a great way to travel in this part of the world. It's safe - almost the entire trip happens on protected bike paths, it's flat - suitable for kids, families, and travelers interested in seeing the countryside and towns along the way as they test their fitness on the trail each day. Each day covers between 40-80k of distance and rides through beautiful natural areas, villages, and farmland. Each evening ends in a beautiful town, village, or capital city with tons plenty of sites to see, delicious food to each, or activities to take part in (like the thermal baths in many of the towns along the way). We traveled as a group of six with 2 kids and 4 adults and everyone had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

Fun ride in Prague
Panoramic Prague Bike Tour
Our guide Michael was great. He's an ex pat American and speaks the same kind of English we do. The ride is easy and leans towards biking through parks that are on the perimeter of the old and new towns so you get a good scenic overview. Good way to get into the Castle while still having the means for a quick getaway from the crowds. Oh, and the ride back down the hill is great!. Michael is very knowlegeable about the area and its history and is more that happy to engage all the questions we had. If you get there a little early for the morning ride, there are plenty of places to choose from for a breakfast nearby before the ride.

Great trip
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
This was a great trip. The guides (Tom and Wilmie) were awesome. The crew on the barge was exceptional as well. They each were beyond accommodating and just pleasant to be around. The rooms were fine , the ac worked well. The only negative was that the dining and lounge areas had no ac, so were virtually unusable during those 100 degree days.

I hate to write reviews but this one deserved a moment of my time. A great trip, a beautiful barge, a unique way to see this part of the world. I can truly say this was a trip I will remember for years to come.

Save some energy
Florence to Rome
It’s not that hills are so big, it is that the grade of some of them is intense. We didn’t upgrade the bike and did ok but a lighter bike would have been nice on this trip. Save some energy for the end of each day when cultural treasures will call out to be explored. The hotels were each unique. We highly recommend the tour.

Breathtaking scenery and flawless trip
Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
This was an incredible trip and the perfect way to see Austria! Cycling through the back farm lands was incredible and we were amazed at how absolutely green it was! The hotels were nice (some quite noisy)depending on where your room is located. Our bikes were top notch and we couldn't have asked for more. They were easy to handle, comfortable and worked perfectly for the duration of the trip. We didn't use the provided guide book but used google maps instead. This allowed us to take a few "off route" trails. It's amazing how accessible Austria makes it for people to be outdoors and enjoy nature, and the maintenance of the trails are perfect. We were concerned when the travel company did not provide us with luggage tags for our luggage transfers but they arrived daily without a problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip!

What a beautiful trip!
Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
Seeing the Dolomites was always something I had wanted to experience. Starting the trip in Dobbiacco Toblach allowed us to be close up and witness the beauty of this mountain range. The couple who provided us with our bikes the first day suggested riding to Cortina since the weather was perfectly sunny that day. We rode and were able to see the 3 Sisters and it was amazing! The first day of the trip which allowed us to see the Dolomites was sunny and warm despite earlier weather reports calling for rain. It could not have been a more perfect day for a ride.
We had rain for most of the following days but because it was the beginning day of the season we didn't go in expecting sunshine the entire time. Someone once told me, there are no bad days only bad gear. We had come prepared and did not regret it. Each village we stayed in was nice and the people we came in contact with were friendly and accommodating. The hotels, although many were quite simple, were comfortable and clean. The food in all establishments was good and exactly what we needed. We opted for e-bikes because of the hilly terrain and felt the bikes provided were good quality.
All in all, even in the rain it was a wonderful trip that was well planned out. We did not use the route maps the tour company provided rather we built our own in Strava. However, the people on the same tour who were using the app seemed quite happy. I'm so happy we chose this tour and look forward to many more.

Great trip to end the year
Great Pyrenees and Costa Brava E-Bike Tour
This was my first trip to Spain but my second BikeTours trip of the year. We were incredibly blessed to have good sunny weather for 95% of the trip! The bike company we worked with were very kind and helpful. I needed a replacement bike after day 2 and they quickly delivered a new one for me! The routes and maps were well planned out and gave us the opportunity to see a lot of varied terrain and some really cool little villages. It was nice to not have too much 'in town' cycling and we saw a lot of beautiful scenery along the way. My favorite was the stretch from Figueres to Lot, it was stunning. Looking forward to booking another trip in the Spring. The communication with Bike Tours is always fast and efficient and I appreciate their help each step of the way!

One of our best trips.
Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
We've taken lots of bike trips, and this was one of our favorites. Innsbruck is well worth a day. The first day down the Inn River is a little disappointing; valley is beautiful, but lots of light industry. After that it becomes spectacular. Up the Zillertal through farmlands, then over a high pass by van to Krimml and down the Salzach River all the way to Salzburg (not as interesting as Innsbruck unless you are really into Mozart memorabilia). We had electric bikes which were much appreciated, but it could be easily be done on conventional bikes. Accommodations were great as were the breakfasts. As for the Austrian food in general, enough with the pork already!

Bike ride celebration… great decision
Half Day Napa Valley E-Bike Tour
Our guide, Santino, was so knowledgeable about, Napa, its history and the vineyards. I booked the ride as a part of our weekend celebration of my son’s graduation from Berkeley… it was a spectacular journey, beauty of the grape vines and serenity of the wineries were unmatched. This is a must! We will be back. I highly recommend this activity but make sure to request Santino… he took the ride to another level!!!
