Well organized and executed
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
BikeTours did a great job communicating our self guided tour and when one of our party had to drop out due to a sprained hand, BikeTours were flexible in picking up the bike from our 2nd tour hotel stop. The e-bikes were top notch and the countryside was beautiful. The hotels were all clean and ranged from adaquate to very comfortable. I have two suggestions. 1) It took a bit over a week to confirm our trip. This put the six of us in limbo for booking our airfare during this time. 2) The route was beautiful but the markings were unclear. There were a lot of choices (almost 1 per kilometer - lots of roundabouts and choices) and we had to stop, pull out our phones, and check Google Maps. This could have been avoided if the BikeTours had let us know to bring a bike phone mount or better yet, supplied one as part of the tour package.

Apologies for the delay in your booking. Because of the nature of hotel based bike tours (lots of moving parts, bookings to confirm, etc) there is often not much we can do to speed this up. Also, noted on the phone mount. We have been seeing that in reviews more this year and will make sure we update our packing list!

Fun ride around Istanbul
Europe & Asia Istanbul Bike Tour
Istanbul on bikes is a unique experience. I would never try it without a guide. The bike lanes are as rare as good road. However with a guide there are ways to see the sites. Our guide, Furkan was a delight. He guided is to many unique sites while giving us a glimpse into life as a Istanbul local. Bravo!

Perfect Trip and Exactly what I was looking for!
Cycling in the Heart of Puglia
This trip was perfect in so many ways. The logistics were amazing from the great hotels to the perfect mileage on the bike each day. I appreciated the level of support that was just enough and not too much given I wanted the time to myself without too much engagement with the company. The bike was wonderful and the routes were full of beauty and adventure. I also really loved the time of year at the end of the season when things were quiet..including the roads! The team at biketours.com made the planning easy and they listened to exactly what I wanted out of the trip...interesting hotels and experiences. I can't say enough positive things about the experience. I will definitely be back for another trip!

An excellent way to explore the Istrian Peninsula
The Istrian Peninsula by Electric Bike
This is a fabulous way to explore the Istrian Peninsula, as you have the opportunity to see the coast and also explore inland. The boat is very comfortable and it is great to be able to get away from the crowds at the end of the day! The towns and villages that you get to explore are gorgeous and the coastline spectacular. Being able to swim off the back of the boat and cool off is an added bonus!

The best part of Greece!!!
Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
We spent a couple of weeks touring Greece before heading to the Peloponnese Peninsula. What a great way to end our trip! The roads were beautiful, the hills manageable, accommodations were great except for one night where the location was fabulous, the hotel not so much. We met some great people who may be international friends from Amsterdam and Australia now!

Three countries with great scenery and variety.
Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
We experienced a true feel for three countries as we biked through this amazing area. There is much variety with this trip. We experienced small quaint villages, ski towns, beautiful mountain scenery, quiet forests, beautiful lakes and rivers, great restaurants, nice accommodations, mostly safe biking on trails and quiet roads. We took the slightly longer route through the hinterland into Trieste which gave us a peaceful ride until the city of Trieste. The App which was provided gave us peace of mind that we were always on the correct route. There were no worries about getting lost. We would advise having a phone holder that fits on your handle bar. We highly recommend this trip and would recommend Ebikes. There are many up and down slopes on a few days.

Great trip!
Sweden’s West Coast: Helsingborg to Gothenburg
We enjoyed everything about the trip. We read reviews that the trains don’t always have room for bikes, so we didn’t try taking train. Every hotel and breakfast was wonderful. The place where we picked up our bikes was less prepared than the bike shops on other trips. They struggled to get our bikes the correct height etc and we had to ask for repairs kits.

Great route, the cities we rode thru and old rail trails were safer than city/country roads. The guide was fantastic with educational info, language skills and expertise on coffee and lunch/dinner stops.

Efficient Fun
Milan Hidden Treasures Bike Tour
“Efficient” may not be the first thing people aspire to while on vacation but hear me out: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our bike ride through northern Milan with Pauline. She took great care to make sure we were always safe. This was important to me because while my husband is accustomed to biking around New York City, I am not an avid biker so the safety aspect allowed me to relax and enjoy what was a fantastic experience. We saw so many neighborhoods we never would have otherwise, beautiful old homes and streets that were utterly charming. She also shared the amazing crypt of Giuseppe Verdi. As huge opera fans this was a real and unexpected treat! Being on bikes allowed us to efficiently see Chinatown and also the Monumental Cemetery . There was a huge concert taking place in Sforza park. Being on bikes meant we could see the park without being bogged down by the crowds. Pauline took the time to share fascinating history along the way as well which really rounded out the experience. At the end she even helped us get a taxi. We highly recommend this experience. Not just for the efficiency but mostly for the fun! Traveling by bike is a wonderful way to explore Milan and Pauline is the perfect guide.

Best of Brussels Bike Tour
Our guide Ahmed really did make the whole experience great. So knowledgeable, fun and took us to some lovely neighbourhoods we would never have seen or been to. Great value. Lovely stop for frites or a beer/glass of wine. Highly recommend. Would do the same tour when back. Electric bikes did help on a couple of hills but weren't really needed. Thumbs up.

UNESCO Sites of Albania
It was the perfect mix between challenging, beautiful, educational and pure enjoyment!! Our guide was extremely knowledgable and entertaining. There was great a mechanic for bike maintenance when there were any issues. Not only did I learn a great deal about the country I met a number of wonderful people throughout the trip. Food and lodging was great.

Croatia At Its Best
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
Extremely well organized; guides were knowledgeable and clearly loved Croatia. Bikes were comfortable and the day trips offered stunning vistas. The lunch at the organic farm was like something featured in Bon Appetit. White water rafting was an added bonus. The boat crew were courteous and professional; room was small but comfortable. Nothing but positive memories.
