· Strasbourg to Mainz: Imperial Cities and Charming Landscapes Along the Rhine
My husband and I had a fabulous time on the Strasbourg, France to Mainz, Germany bike tour September 6-13th. We arrived a day early and loved walking around and exploring the beautiful city of Strasbourg.
Our bikes and information were dropped off the day before our trip and we were off early the next morning. We would highly recommend having a data plan to download the GPS maps offered to your phone. These maps show you exactly where you are at all times! Would also be very beneficial to have a cell phone holder for the handlebars on the bikes.
We rode mostly on bikepaths and trails and occasionally on roadways. The terrain was mostly flat and winding around farmer’s fields, through towns and cities, and along or near the Rhine. Our favorite town was Speyer, Germany the day we were on our way to Heidelberg. The main street had beautiful, colorful buildings, a lovely, church, quaint shops, and a fabulous clock tower.
The hotels provided were clean, centrally located, and had friendly and helpful staff. Silka at Hotel Schwert in Rastatt went above and beyond helping us with all of our questions and requests! Thank you Silka!
After our first day of our Eurobike tour, we were fortunate to have met another couple also travelling on the same tour. We decided to travel together and the four of us spent the rest of our trip biking and having a great time together!
This was our first bike trip and we loved it! The weather was beautiful and the biking experience was fabulous!

· Treasures of the Donegal Coast
It was great to be cycling on the scenic backroads of county Donegal. The daily mileage was not too long so that we could do short recommended side trips or not be out too long if the weather was less than ideal. Staying 2 nights in Carrick allowed us to have our free day to enjoy a pedal to Slieve League. Staying 2 nights in Ardara meant we could pedal out to the Maghera strand to see the beach and caves and still have energy for the Corner Pub and listen to great Irish music.

· Northern Spain: Cantabrian & Asturian Coasts
The hotels and inns were all top notch and quaint. Bikes were high quality. Scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Staying overnight 2 days in some of the stops gave you options to explore the town. Staff was very courteous and helpful. This is not, however, a level 2 ride. Many hills. Get an e-bike unless you are an experienced and strong biker.

· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
We biked around lake Konstanz and were so lucky to have perfect weather. The bikes were excellent and so were the hotels and luggage transfer. We felt the maps could use a little bit of improvement, that would be our only minor complaint.

· Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
This was a trip I had been looking forward to for a few years. It was planned with my "biking buddy" and we had two other people who had agreed to go along for the ride. Unfortunately, both my bike buddy and myself broke our wrists in biking accidents in Passau the day before the trip was to start.
It was such a huge disappointment to us and our two non-riders did complete the ride without us. They thoroughly enjoyed it and were able to compete it without too much effort on their e-bikes.
First off, I want to say that both my friend and I (who both broke our wrists) are fairly experienced e-bike riders. I will say that switching fro our 26" wheels in the USA to 29" wheels on European e-bikes was difficult -- especially for those under 5'4". That being said, the bikes are truly nice, it just takes a bit to get used to them.
I can't say enough good things about the tour company who arranged for us to ride each day with the person delivering luggage from hotel to hotel. Without the effort on the part of the bike tour company, we would have incurred a significant expense, on top of the bike tour we couldn't actually ride to complete.
Our hope is to go back next year and try again -- primarily because of the service of the bike tour company.
We chose the 8-day upscale tour and were happy we did The hotels were all very nice and worth the extra amount. -

· Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
The route was fantastic, with gorgeous scenery, some amazing long downhill stretches, and major archaeological sites. Roads usually had little to no traffic and uphills were never overwhelming (I didn't ever wear the reflective vest I brought or have to walk). All of the accommodations, staff, and breakfasts were very nice and sometimes great. We enjoyed all of the suggested stops and towns we stayed in. It would have been impossible to come up with a comparable route on our own. The Trek bikes were in good shape. The only problem we had was that one day we encountered burrs or thorns which caused repeated punctures (apparently a seasonal hazard).

· Split to Dalmatian Islands
From start to finish this was a great experience. Our accommodations were clean and well located. Our luggage was transported from place to place without a hitch. Our E-bikes worked like a charm getting us up and over some very hilly terrain but still giving us plenty of exercise.
Everyone involved with our Split/Dalmatian Islands self guided bike tour was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this tour.
The only advice I would give is to try to make your Day-1 orientation early enough in the day to absorb and understand all of the information provided (regarding your bikes and your day-to-day self guided tour instructions).
Unfortunately we did not have our orientation until 5PM which forced us to rush through things and made for a shorter than desired first day ride.

· Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
We were very pleased with everything. All information from Bike tours was 100% reliable. It was great to visit three countries in 6 days on bicycle. Every day was spectacular and different from each other, but always with beautiful scenery and we felt very safe on the cycling paths. Hotels had good standard, especially the last four hotels, and every village charming and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this trip !

This was my first bike n boat trip. It was better than I expected. I had taken a big river boat trip and this was so much better. The trails and small towns and vineyards were amazing. I would do this again. The crew was the best!

Of all our European tours, the route and scenery was the best - Slovenia really is a hidden gem. Some of the hotels are just average - one great - Hisa Posebne Sorte. Try to have the tour company not book their fall back hotel, Vila Bojana in Bled for you. But this is not an experience to miss.

· Wine & Bike in Hungary’s Balaton Uplands
Gabor and his team plan and run this trip very well with a great eye for the detail and a passion for the region and region's wine.
The cycling is generally on dedicated cycle tracks and the route has been well planned which helped us enjoy the views , good food, some interesting sights and the vineyards
A mixed age group of 11 cyclists were all happy with the variety of the route and the pace was fine for all.
Every day had different highlights of views , places to see and comfortable smaller hotels to stay together with around 30k of cycling.
Equipment was excellent ( we chose electric bikes which were almost brand new and light in design and easy to use).
Transfers to and from Budapest well organised and Gabor and team very knowledgeable to answer questions both on the balaton area where the cycling is and also ideas for onward travel and other areas in hungary.- What was the date of your tour?

· · Danube Delights: Cycling and Cruising in the Footsteps of Royalty
After planning this trip for over three years, I finally found my way to the Danube and it turned out fantastic. The route was well-planned with sights featured along the way. The boat was very comfortable and the crew did an amazing job cleaning the rooms and taking all the bikes on and off every day. The cruise director did a great job as well providing tips and directions for the bikers. And, the non-bikers who stayed on board were treated well with a hot meal at lunch. On most days, the schedule allowed for the bikers to catch up with the boat by early or mid-afternoon to facilitate sightseeing with the non-bikers. All in all, it was an excellent week.

· Venice to Trieste and Istria
We spent a few extra days in Venice to start and 5 extra days in Porec at the end. Really glad we spent the extra time. Extending the bike rental was not a problem.
The tour in between was awesome. Accommodations were better than expected and all the towns were charming.I had a little trouble with my bike. The front hub was a little tight so the wheel didn't spin as freely as it should have. I noticed when we picked up the bikes but didn't think too much of it. After a couple days I contacted the tour company and they brought me a different and better bike. Kudos to the tour operator.
At one hotel there was confusion about a reservation for someone travelling with us. Again, the tour company stepped up. The real measure of the tour company is how they handle problems. They were terrific.
Had a couple directional issues. We have T-Mobile so GPS worked perfectly. Previously we had AT&T with the international package. It was underwhelming to say the least. I highly recommend T-Mobile.
Final day was a bit of a climbing challenge for Mrs. But we managed. The highlights of the tour were riding along the Adriatic, taking the occasional swim and the people we met.

Great trip through wonderful old hilltop towns I wouldn't normally have put on my list. So happy to do this tour and visit these towns. The riding was great with an excellent variety in landscapes. The route was marked the whole way and included turn by turn directions that were easy to follow.

Bikes and map/directions were good. Accommodations were excellent. Routes were well marked, primarily on bike paths and small country roads. Towns were interesting and charming. Terrain quite hilly. Would recommend highly.

· · Amsterdam – Gouda – Bruges by Bike and Boat
This trip exceeded all my expectations. The "Barge" was quaint (but professional), the rooms were VERY clean and comfortable with good shower. Dining area was nice and best feature was sitting deck where we all gathered after a day of biking and enjoyed a "beverage". The Crew was fantastic. Always with a genuine smile and seemed to enjoy their work almost as much as we did. The chef did an amazing job with great food and really neat presentation added to the charm. With a small "boat" we got to know all the other passengers and by the end of the week we were friends. Such a great time. Oh and by the way, the actual bike riding was good also. We saw and experienced a Netherlands and Belgium that only a trip like this could offer. Daily rides were easy enough for any cyclist and our guide could not have been more concerned that we were enjoying ourselves. He became part of our "Group" and a friend.

Once in a lifetime trip

The service and bikes were great! The map given was I little hard to read and follow but gave good information to take you on your way. The route signs were easy to find, for the most part, but that isn't the tour groups fault. The hotels along the way we're very good with special charm attached with each one. The short verse is that I would recommend his group to anyone thinking of taking this trip!,
