Perfect week
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
This was a perfect European week for us. We rode 5 days self-guided, and, speaking for myself, I would have loved to do another 5. I was in the groove.
The biketours and their contractors are a well-oiled machine. They do this well. Our 3 Bikes were perfectly designed for this trip and had no problems. The luggage were there waiting at our hotel like clockwork.
The route, Vienna to Budapest, has its spectacular moments especially coming into Esztergom (Hungary) and Budapest. and it has many tranquil lovely phases of riding right beside the Danube. There were a few duller stages early on-- riding for long stretches on the river levies-- but I didn't expect every moment to be picture-postcard.

Danish delight
Royal Zealand and Copenhagen
Copenhagen and Zealand is a delight. We did the independent tour. Biketours did what it is supposed to do: it booked good hotels, it moved the suitcases every day. and it delivered good sturdy bikes. that is why I came back to this company for a third tour.

Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
I heard about the tour on Travelling Jackie’s Instagram and was intrigued. I love to travel and thought this was such a unique way to see country. The accommodations were fantastic and the path was mostly easy to follow. The bikes were great and the local company that met with us to go over the details was very helpful. BikeTours.com was also very responsive to my emails and calls. I hadn’t been on a bike in two years (though I am physically fit) so I was a little nervous, but the tour along the Danube was no problem! All of the resources on biketour.com were very helpful and the experience was pretty much as described. I have recommended this experience on all of the travel groups I am part of on FB. Would do again in a heartbeat!

Great experience!
Amsterdam to Bruges: Cycling through South Holland and Zeeland
We did not expect to get to know the places in such a calm and relaxing way. We specially enjoyed cycling along the canals and the seaside. The plan was flexible enough to organize some small detours and to stop along the way any time we especially liked a place.

Wonderful trip, beautiful country.
Portugal's Atlantic Coast
We had a great time seeing Portugal. The sights, people, food and route were all wonderful. The coastal towns had jaw dropping scenery. Obidos and Sintra were picture postcard perfect. An extra day in Sintra to see the castles is a must. We rode premium road bikes through challenging climbs. Only the uphill Sintra cobbles required walking the bike. Well organized tour

Do this trip - you won't regret it
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
Loved the hotel and the area. The hotel, the food, the spa - was a highlight. The bike tour group ( manages the bikes and the routes, the shuttles ) is separate from the hotel. The hotel helps with info and also does different guided bike tours ( their bike tours looked more rugged and guided hikes. We took a day off from the planned rides and did a hike - and a bus ride - it was so worth it. Heads up - Make sure you read all the forms and plans from the Biking company. There are the 5 days of rides planned. Two days you are on your own - out and back. One day, the bike company will shuttle you to the start ( the highest point). The other days, they could pick you up at the end of the ride -or you could train in. They decide which day is which and it could change. This was not my first organized bike vacation. I loved being at one hotel, their dinner plan. We got to know the area, the buses, trains to have options. E bikes also made this much easier.

Amazing scenery in a part of the world I did not know about.
German Wine Country along the Saar & Mosel Rivers
This was a week long immersion in German culture in the Mosel /Saar river valleys. The rides were slow, easy rides on the riverbanks on dedicated bike paths alongside steep, wine grape orchards. Every day we would pull into a tiny picturesque German village. The Zwaan was our home base boat and we grew to really love the little barge, the food served and the group of new friends we made. Amazing Dutch crew that went out of their way to make us all feel at home. The guide was funny, easy going and very helpful.

Amazing way to experience a the Ireland West Coast!
Wild Atlantic Way Cycling
We were absolutely blown away by the scenery, the service and the nice friendly people we met at each stop. The local pubs were huge fun, the cycling was challenging enough but with enough time to stop and breathe in the countryside. Bring bike lights if you stay in a local pub past dark. I recommend high vis clothes because you are on busy roads occasionally. The bikes were ok, serviceable hybrids, and able to meet the demands. The B&B's chosen by the company were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Lovely from start to finish!
Along the Rhône River from Geneva to Lyon
We had a great time on our Vie Rhona tour and were impressed with the level of communication and responsiveness from the team. Luggage always beat us to the hotel, which was nice, and morning drop off was seamless. The GPS guidance was good, though some sections of the route were confused due to construction, path changes, etc. but our course corrections were easy to sort out when looking at the map and never caused significant delays. I highly recommend bringing an external phone battery charger as keeping the map screen on drains the battery very quickly. And pack lots of snacks!! While the listed dining stops are helpful, there are days when some small towns are closed up tight and there’s nothing to buy between departure and arrival. The route was gorgeous and well thought out! We will definitely book another tour through Bike Tours and recommend it to friends!

Albania is gorgeous!
UNESCO Sites of Albania
What a surprise to see the natural beauty of Albania by bicycle. We rode below snow capped peaks; through farmland; and along the Adriatic Coast. All of it was stunning. The riding was challenging and interesting without being too demanding. The bikes were very comfortable .Our guide was wonderful. He kept our bikes in tip top condition and kept his eye out for each one of us while riding. He shared his knowledge of Albania with us, and daily he recommended the best coffee and lunch stops. (We had an unguided trip). There was a variety of hotel styles and amenities, from basic to luxury.

Danube Bike Path 5-nights (Active)
The best way to travel around Europe!! This tour is one of the most beautiful we have done, the places, towns, museums, are simply like getting into a dream like no one could ever imagine!!
The people are very friendly, the organization is excellent, we never had any problems and when we had to go to the organizers, they responded diligently. This tour is highly recommended, I recommend that if you have booked dinner, arrive early or ask if there is a maximum time for dinner, because on several occasions we had problems with the time we got to eat. Otherwise, highly recommended!!

Super bike tour through Sarajevo
Sarajevo City & War Bike Tour
We had a super bike tour through Sarajevo, the young guide (only 19 years old) led us through the old and new town, he knew a lot of things about the history and was eiger to tell us about it. First we went to the old town, olympic village and the tunnel of hope (must see)
it is a nice long drive on the bike but he took the time, for us the best way to experience a town.
We will visit Sarajevo again and do another bike tour. We recommend Biketours to anyone who wants to discover Sarajevo.
