Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
The islands are a must see if traveling to Croatia. This tour made it so easy to enjoy. The guides were excellent. They were patient, answered questions thoroughly, did a good job trouble shooting, giving us anticipatory guidance and let us go at the pace that was comfortable to us. We were able to stop frequently for photos. We've never done a guided tour before and planned to DIY on the islands. It would have been much more difficult trying to coordinate catching the few ferries that take bikes if we did it on our own. It was great to not worry about navigation, accommodations, etc. We just pedaled, ate, enjoyed and repeated. Only 3 of us used regular bikes. The other 20+ riders used e-bikes and had varying experience cycling

Beautiful and Stressful
Algarve Coastal Route
We enjoyed seeing and exploring the towns of the Algarve. The beaches were beautiful, hotels were very nice, we had delicious meals. The least enjoyable was the biking. We rented Ebikes. A lot of time was spent on busy roads with traffic and cars and trucks whizzing by. On the no traffic parts, the trail was rocky, gravelly with potholes a good percentage of the time. The trails are unmaintained. We did bike through nature areas along the water which was lovely. We did this trip the third week in April. The weather was perfect- 70’s and sunny. This was our 7th bike trip. We enjoyed our trip to the Algarve and glad we did it, but the biking was not as enjoyable as our other trips and at times very stressful.

Exceeded my expectations
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
I've gone on a number of bike/hotel tours and really loved them. Adding the river cruise exceeded my expectations. We met many new friends, enjoyed a very nice cabin for resting, and appreciated the very helpful staff. Having a daily talk meant we were very prepared, even though we selected the self-guided experience. The only "self" portion was on the route; every other step of the way, we had guidance. All of this, in addition to the exceptional route, helped make the trip so much fun. We did experience some country-specific issues that required rerouting for biking days 2 and 3, but the cruise director acted very quickly, and we made lemonade out of lemons. I would be happy to do this kind of trip again.
If you're trying to decide between a bike/boat trip and bike/hotel trip, the major difference is that you do not have all day to complete your ride. You are on the riverboat schedule, which can make for odd timing and shortened riding days. If your primary goal is biking, then I would recommend a bike/hotel trip instead. The other downside is that you are rarely in a port during the evening. Walking around Budapest at night was a BIG highlight! On a bike/hotel tour, you can do that every night.
Lastly, I was very happy with the biketours.com experience. Everything was handled very professionally. I would book through them again, especially if I were traveling to a country where I didn't know the language. Using the site was instrumental in my finding this amazing tour, and I look forward to looking for another tour again soon!

Beautiful. A must!
Amsterdam Extended Countryside E-Bike Tour
So nice to get out of the city and see the countryside. We ride by the water, took a ferry with our bikes and received local information along the way.

Lake Constance Bicycle Path
We loved every minute of our trip. We got lost a few times, but realised that in Austria the sign posting wasn't as reliable than it was in Germany and Switzerland.

One of the best vacations of my life
Cultural Splendors of the Peloponnese and Saronic Isles E-bike and Boat
Experiencing the beautiful Greek Islands by boat and bike with a fabulous group of people on a wonderful boat with food that was delicious - what a trip! Words I'd use to express the crew include loving, caring, fun, always giving their best, working around the clock, AMAZING. The chef and food were extraordinary, every meal was a delight. The Captain carefully arranged destinations to offer us the best possible experiences. The guides were safety conscious and just fabulous. We were cared for in a way that is hard to describe. I would happily travel with this group and specifically with these people anytime, anywhere.

Great Scenery
Great Pyrenees and Costa Brava E-Bike Tour
The local partner did a fantastic job with the Ride GPS routing. The routes were all very good and minimized roads with traffic. They had lots of sightseeing and resraurant recommendations. All you had to do was click on teh link and it opwpened up Google maps to take you there. They were very easy to deal with and the bikes were as stated with zero issues. Th eHotels were mostley very good, with a few that were a little bit tired.

Everyone should visit Portugal!
Portugal's Coastal Splendor from Porto to Lisbon
Our group of ten had a fantastic time! The scenery was amazing and both Porto and Lisbon are great cities to visit. All the hotels were fantastic. We only had one hiccup on the navigation. Nothing major and we figured it out. We enjoy self-guided trips so we can travel at our pace and explore. We can't wait to take another trip to Portugal.

Gorgeous scenery and a very authentic experience
Castles and Wines of Portugal
If you are looking for beauty and authenticity, this trip is for you. Our group of 16 had a wonderful time biking through rolling hills overlooking sweeping vistas of wild flowers, vineyards, olive and cork oak groves. The whitewashed and marble hill towns with their castle walls and ruins were charming and authentic. The food was local and delicious and the wines were excellent. But best of all were our guides, Mario, Videl, and Joana, who were fun, informative, well organized, and always enthusiastic. A good example is a rainy day in Monsaraz where we spent the morning walking around the castle and village, ate lunch, then half of the group rode in the van to a nearby pottery village while the others walked to a nearby convent and megalith, then we swapped and when the sun came out around 4:00 any who wanted took a two hour ride in the rolling hills surrounding the castle. Our guides worked it all out over lunch!

Super bike tour through Sarajevo
Sarajevo City & War Bike Tour
We had a super bike tour through Sarajevo, the young guide (only 19 years old) led us through the old and new town, he knew a lot of things about the history and was eiger to tell us about it. First we went to the old town, olympic village and the tunnel of hope (must see)
it is a nice long drive on the bike but he took the time, for us the best way to experience a town.
We will visit Sarajevo again and do another bike tour. We recommend Biketours to anyone who wants to discover Sarajevo.
