Daily program
Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Arrive in Athens, 'The Glorious City' renowned for being the seat of Ancient Greek civilization and the country's classical capital. Embarkation is from the Marina Zeas in the Port of Piraeus at 2:00 pm. Enjoy your first dinner on board and an overnight stay in awe-inspiring Athens.Day 2: Island of Poros | Poros Town - Russian Bay - Poros Harbor (14 miles/23 km)
Cruise in the morning to the picturesque island of Poros. Before you reach the main port, you'll stop at a stunning swimming spot for an optional dive directly into the crystal-clear waters of the ocean! Your cycling route today is almost a complete loop of this spectacular little island, dedicated during ancient times to the sea god Poseidon.Ride to Russian Bay for a blissful swim in the azure Aegean Sea, then pedal back to the harbor at Poros, with its impressive clock tower guiding you home. Relax in this fabulous town tonight, fully immersed in the idyllic island atmosphere of the Saronics.
Day 3: Galatas - Ermioni - Porto Heli (25 miles/40 km)
After breakfast, board the little car ferry to Galatas in the Peloponnes, from where you'll start your coastal pedal past verdant Greek farmland. Arriving in the charming coastal town of Ermioni, enjoy lunch on board the boat and a serene afternoon crossing to Porto Heli. Another stunning extended swimming stop is possible en route, weather permitting. Enjoy a blissful evening in Porto Heli.Day 4: Island of Spetses (15 miles/25 km)
Immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of the island of Spetses! Named 'Island of Herbs' ('Isola della spezie') by the Venetians, you'll find that wonderful herbal fragrances accompany you along today's cycle tour! En route to the island, you'll enjoy an extended swimming stop in a blissful bay before savoring lunch on board the ship. Once on the island itself, you'll explore the gorgeous Old Town of Spetses on foot.Pedal along an almost traffic-free panoramic road boasting spectacular views out over the Aegean Sea and pause for another dip or a coffee at one of the gorgeous beaches. Refreshed, explore the historic harbor of Spetses by bike before boarding the ship once more.
Day 5: Island of Hydra | Hydra Port - Methana Peninsula - Vathy (10 miles/17 km)
This morning's crossing takes you to the magnificent island of Hydra. Since ancient times, the only form of transport on this unique island has been the humble donkey! Hydra became wonderfully wealthy during the Middle Ages but drifted into insignificance for more than a hundred years following the Greek War of Independence (1821-30). The island sprung back into the spotlight in 1957 when Boy on a Dolphin, starring the glamorous Sofia Loren, hit the screens and artists began to flock to Hydra's alluring shores.Explore the Port of Hydra on foot, then make your way to the Methana Peninsula. You'll notice an unusual smell as you approach the peninsula due to its volcanic origins, also evident in the iridescent colors of the rocks. More than 30 volcanoes characterize this picturesque peninsula, whilst sulphuric thermal springs provide medicinal properties to the island's visitors and inhabitants. A panoramic round trip concludes the afternoon as you savor a sumptuous coffee in the gorgeous fishing port of Vathy. You'll spend the night in Methana.
Day 6: Methana Penisula - Island of Aegina (16 miles/25 km with optional additional 12 miles/20 km)
Following breakfast, enjoy another round trip around Methana enjoying magical views every pedal of the way. The afternoon sees you cruising to the iridescent island of Aegina, famed for its wonderful pistachios! There will be many pistachio products available to purchase in the Old Town of Aegina itself, as well as inviting boutiques all along the bustling shopping streets. If you'd prefer not to visit the town, you can opt for an additional bike ride which will take you along the coast to the fishing village of Perdika. You'll stay overnight in Aegina town, soaking up the incredible atmosphere.
Day 7: Island of Aegina | Temple of Aphaia - Agios Nektarios Church and Monastery - Piraeus (22 miles/35 km)
On Aegina Island, you'll cycle up to the beautiful Temple of Aphaia, a grand Doric temple reminiscent of the ancient Parthenon. The views from this location are unrivaled - the temple is situated on the only point of the island where the alluring Aegean Sea can be seen on both sides. As you make your way back to the boat, cycle to the Agios Nektarios Church and Monastery in the middle of the island, a site visited by thousands each year seeking healing and blessings from one of the most widely-known Greek Orthodox saints. Back on board the boat for the last time, cruise back to Piraeus, and enjoy a lovely communal dinner with your crew and fellow passengers.

Fantastic tour!
My best trip in 20 years! This is not to detract from past trips but this Greece tour was well executed. The staff (8) made each of our 17 participants (all friends) feel individually special.
The meals were excellent with variety and abundance - lots of Greek style dishes, diversity of fish, beef, lamb, ham, fruits, vegetables, etc.
The guides - Chrysa and Marylou- kept the group informed, gave excellent bike tours, and adjusted the itinerary when needed. What a comedy team! They work so well together and we had so many laughs! The swimming at various beaches and off the boat was a highlight. The boat was beautiful, spacious for the group and comfortable. We thought the rooms were adequately sized as compared to other tours we’ve been on. Climate control was good in the rooms although the cool nights made sleeping easy. There was some mild diesel smell in some of the rooms but opening the portholes and running the room fans took care of that odor - which mostly resulted from wind direction or docking . The bad mattresses were firm but in excellent condition. The bikes were in excellent shape and got all of us up the hills without depleting the batteries. The service crew always made sure the rooms were daily cleaned and any of our needs were met. They were outstanding! The scenery was just so beautiful! If you like boats, great food, excellent staff, exercise and good views, don’t pass up on this excellent trip!- What was the date of your tour?
