Superb cycling experience from Porto to Obidos
Looked after very well from start to finish by Alberto and Ivo from Top Bike Tours Portugal, Helen and I enjoyed a superb 6 day cycling experience from Porto to Obidos in early May. Starting with a comprehensive briefing and supported by an (essential) guided departure out of Porto towards the coastal path, the overall experience was excellent. The supplied e-bikes were perfect for the route and had plenty of battery capacity. This included a 90km day when we chose to detour off the designated route to visit the gorgeous town of Aveiro (the 'Venice' of Portugal). The navigation app worked perfectly, which included being directed to our hotel at the end of each day's cycling. And we successfully followed up many of the recommended restaurants supplied in the information pack. Cycling down the Atlantic coast in early May was near perfect timing: not too hot and very little rain. Highly recommended!

Beautiful scenery, well-supported trip
Our local agency provided the best customer service I’ve had in three European bike trips. They gave great sightseeing and restaurant recommendations, communicated daily and solved problems quickly. We were self-guided, but they rode with us out of town in our first day, to make sure we got on the right route. The hotels were terrific, route was beautiful,

Everyone should visit Portugal!
Our group of ten had a fantastic time! The scenery was amazing and both Porto and Lisbon are great cities to visit. All the hotels were fantastic. We only had one hiccup on the navigation. Nothing major and we figured it out. We enjoy self-guided trips so we can travel at our pace and explore. We can't wait to take another trip to Portugal.

Fantastic trip
