Authentic Picturesque Historic Geography
Romantic Road from Würzburg to Donauwörth
Biking is an ideal way to take in the series of old German towns with over a thousand years of significant history. The quaint old buildings and homes adorned with bright flowers and ancient relics are such a visual treasure.

Quaint Swiss Villages Among Majestic Alps
Lake Constance to Lake Maggiore
After having just completed the Romantic Roads Tour, this tour was a perfect contrast - more focus on geography including huge glacial lakes, wide river basins, steep hillside farms and villages, and jagged Alp peaks with snow fields. This was a more challenging tour with added factors like very high temperatures a few days and very strong headwinds. Some of the gravel sections, particularly between Chur and Disentis were very tough for touring bikes so we have already suggested a road option. Hotels, restaurants and overall route were outstanding.

Beautiful Route
Three Lakes Tour: From Geneva to Annecy
After navigating out of busy Geneva we were rewarded with beautiful open country side, thick forests, small villages, views of the Rhone River and eventually huge glacial made lakes surrounded by tall mountain ranges. Until this trip we've always been self-guided and the only ones on the route at that time. This tour had about 5 couples starting the same day although we all went our own pace. It was nice to meet people from other countries and backgrounds experiencing the same daily route. Quality of hotels varied but some towns had very limited options.

Great views, wonderful little cities
Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
It was an excellent tour, the landscapes are stunning. The hotels are very good, with comfort and well-prepared breakfast.
The bicycles corresponded to the description, the transfers took place according to schedule.
Some stretches are a little long, on the second day's stretch for several kilometers there wasn't even a cafe or snack bar for a rest.
The day of departure from Bled has a very tight schedule, little time. The hotel has breakfast scheduled at 7:30 and we must be at the train station at 7:45, an impossible schedule to keep and, as breakfast is essential for the day's cycling, it was very bad. -

A great way to see Istanbul!
Europe & Asia Istanbul Bike Tour
We had an absolutely amazing time riding around Istanbul with our guide Ahmet. We felt safe on our bikes the entire time and enjoyed the many key points about the city Ahmet shared. This is a great way to see the lesser traveled parts of Istanbul!

Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
Zwaantje Boat, Bruges to Amsterdam..fantastic hosts Marjorie & Martene, Trudie & Matthew, guide Felix, all welcoming, friendly with superb meals (especially arriving from the rain and cool temperatures, hot soup, drinks and home made baking). Great group of people on the tour and can highly recommend this relaxed and lovely bike ride experience. Well done Marjorie and Martene....best wishes for many more successful seasons!

Flat, well-marked path. Castles. Wine. Beer. Friendly hotel staffs. For what more could I ask?

National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
From the moment we got on board the Melody in Trogir we felt welcomed and
comfortable. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained. The crew was helpful and very qualified. The food was plentiful and good. Selection of bar drinks were also great. Opportunities to swim off the back of the boat were amazing and much enjoyed. The bike ride was really fun and the e-bikes made it a most enjoyable ride. Stunning, best way to travel
Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
This was my first bike tour and, wow, it did not disappoint. Scenery from the get go was absolutely stunning. You traverse incredible border towns between Italy, Austria, and Slovenia on this entire tour, staying at lovely Inns and eating incredible food along the way. My only gripe was that the written directions were confusing at times (have given feedback) but I wouldn’t let this deter you.

A Natural Wonder
Bergen to Sognefjord: Cycle Norway's Greatest Landscapes
We had an incredible experience on this bike tour. The trip was so thoughtfully planned by the local tour company. Not only are you biking along some of the most beautiful natural landscape in the world, you are staying at iconic historic hotels (complete with delicious meals included!) and experiencing so many facets of Norwegian culture. Highly recommend! This is my 3rd bike tour and I could not recommend enough
I will note two things:
1. we lucked out with beautiful weather. Perfect sunny, blue sky days for our whole trip. If it were raining and cold, it would still be fun but just know that the weather is unpredictable
2. The cycling occurred on roads shared with motorists. 95% of the time this was totally fine because the car traffic was so infrequent, but keep this in mind if you prefer not to share the road with cars.- What was the date of your tour?

Amazing trip!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
Absolutely wonderful tour along the Costa Brava. Daniel was an amazing host - incredibly responsive, attentive, and helpful (he swapped out two of our cyclist's bikes for e-bikes in the middle of the trip). I would say that the destinations were, at times, better than the routes themselves. The mediterranean sea was STUNNING, as were the medieval villages, but the routes took us through dry, hot landscapes. The final day was also a highlight - summiting a famous girona cycling route to Els Angels. The routes always felt safe and very doable (in terms of distance and difficulty). I would recommend an e-bike as there were plenty of rolling hills, and very high elevation gain on the final day. Highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Tirana to Mount Dajti Downhill MTB Tour

FORMIDABLE!!!
Burgundy Wine Trails: Beaune to Macon on the “Voie Verte”
Perfect way to enjoy the Burgundy Region. Experienced a variety of scenery, along a canal, through Vineyards and quaint, charming little villages. Being on self-guided gave us more flexibility to explore and take advantage of the wonderful food and wines which were always so well presented, matched and served by friendly staff. Being on La Voie Verte was also a plus, well marked and away from traffic. A Memorable experience - definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Biketours!!
