· Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
This was our first time doing a bike vacation and it was the perfect way to see Switzerland - the countryside is stunning and we saw so many quaint Swiss villages that most visitors miss. We rented hybrid bikes (not the e-bikes) and while the route was harder than anticipated, we enjoyed the workout and would use hybrid bikes again. But I'm mentioning this to let others know that there are some serious climbs on this trip! One thing not emphasized on the website is that some of the hotels may have heated pools / spas, so bring a bathing suit and plan to enjoy some relaxation time at the hotels. Overall, I highly recommended this trip and we will be doing another biking trip with Bike Tours again!

Lovely trip, with great bike paths, gracious accommodations and excellent directions. We appreciated the hard work of the local hosts, who had to make daily route adjustments due to flooding conditions, but their communications were very good.

I took this trip a year ago in the end of October and it was a perfect match of the weather and scenery. The cycling route is brilliantly planned, very safe and full of breathtaking nature, this mix gives you a feeling of being reunited with nature.

· Learning Italian from the Saddle: Language Classes & the Coast of Apulia
In overall the experience was fantastic.
The region is beautiful, the wines great, nice restaurants, nice bikes and most of all our teacher Giovanna. I became her fan. When I returned home in Milan, I could understand Italian much better and speak a little.
If the group was bigger than ours, two families only, an end of the line additional guide to look after the low speed participants would make the front group biking experience more pleasant.
We also had a small accident with no big consequences that was handled by the guide and one participant that was a doctor. But if anything worst happened, I’m not sure what type of rescue would be available.
Me and my wife were lucky that the other family was fantastic. The bond was 100% and only happy moments all the time happened.
In other tours with other companies, there was always someone that became an unpleasant weight for the group due to the attitudes.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received through Biketours.com. Your website served as a terrific tool for choosing and planning a trip to meet our interests. The staff added to the quality of the planning by clarifying information on your website and by answering all of our questions. You were prepared to customize the tour to meet our needs and you offered suggestions that improved our experience. We felt that our trip was important to you. We were particularly pleased with the speed in which the staff responded and how another staff member would provide answers if our main contact was out of the office.
We were very pleased with the route. It offered us a nice combination of excellent and safe pathways (of varying surfaces) along rivers, through farmlands and in parklands. The route allowed us to enjoy some wonderful smaller towns and villages. The scenery was spectacular. The route also offered us opportunities for some interesting stops so that we could enjoy the local history, architecture, culture, foods and people.

Best curated trip I’ve been on so far. Hotels were pretty and comfortable and had wonderful staff. Bikes were in great shape and loved the electronic gps devices provided. The creative Catalonia folks were over the top helpful. Great mix of beaches, medieval villages and scenic views of the mountains and the med. Highly recommend.

The trip was well organized and hotels we were in were very good and clean and easily reachable from the bike route. We were there in mid-September which is very nice because the weather was cool and tour groups were rare at every stop.
The only suggestion is that there is really not much to do in Sank Gallen and the trip could have easily be cut one day shorter and not lose anything.
One hint in Konstanz : Go have Tapas at a small restaurant called Sabores. Best Choriso. We ended up going there 2 of the 3 nights we spent iin Konstanz.- What was the date of your tour?

· Dordogne Valley: Between the Dordogne and Lot Rivers
I have been cycle touring for over 20 years. We did this tour, as we do most, as a self guided tour. The bikes were excellent, the assistance from the bike tour company was fabulous. The bike route through the Dordogne was a lovely combination of changing countryside and medieval villages. It was planned well around various tourist sites. The road surfaces were excellent. The accommodation and included continental breakfasts were all good. I would definitely recommend this bike tour company and this particular tour.

It was a great ride around town with interesting commentary. We've been on tons of bike tours in many countries. This one had fewer stops, and longer talking at the stops. Guide was able to answer any and all questions, and we learned a lot about the city and country.

As advertised. This was a picture book trip if there ever was one. Towns, hotels and luggage delivery were perfectly arranged. Days1 & 2 & 5 were flat. Days 3 & 4 were a little more than level 2 hills, however, the gears on the bikes were good enough to get through the climbs. This is our 3rd trip through Biketours and their service is perfect. I would do this trip again. I would upgrade from B to A hotels next time but the B hotels were good enough for our short time in each.

· Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
This was a great ride along well marked trails. The E-bikes were in great condition and easy to ride. We spent several extra days in Prague and rode to Karlštejn Castle. The ride to Karlstejn was a good segue into the ride from Prague to Dresden.
The hotels were all very nice even though several were not air conditioned most had fans that made the stays comfortable. Each of the stopover towns had their unique charm and points of interest. Several of the shorter ride days were filled with great options. Once we got to Litomerice there was plenty of time to explore Terezin Fortress. The day we rode to Bad Schanda we spent most of the day in Hřensko and hiked to visit the largest natural land bridge in Europe.
There were ample places to stop along the entire route for breaks and refreshments. We met many wonderful people from all over Europe doing the same ride and had a great time visiting with them. The package was well put together and fun to ride.

· Connemara Lazy Days Cycling
A great way to experience this wonderful region of Ireland. My wife and I decided on a late August tour and weren't disappointed, but be prepared for changeable weather each day, from rain and clouds to sunny and warm. Definitely rent some panniers to hold rain gear, jacket, etc. The bicycles performed well and we cycled through all the gears in the hilly countryside.
The Connemara Tour staff were friendly and very helpful.
Many of the B&Bs had fabulous views out to the sea and mountains and all rooms were comfortable and near town centers or other points of interest.- What was the date of your tour?

· Salzburg Lakes Tour: Around the Lakes within the Foothills of the Alps
Well thought out routes and hotel selection. Three 60 and 70 something guys on level 3 Salzburg Takes Tour had great trip with moderate riding. Variety of light to moderate terrain with scenery unparalleled on post cards was fantastic.
Everyone we encountered from booking to bike and route briefings was outstanding, helpful and seemed to love what they do.
I'll be looking at future trips as this one ranked very highlly!

The area was absolutely wonderful. The local bike company charming and most helpful. Every one of the hotels had its own charm and uniqueness. the bike tour itself was just one adventure after another going through the small villages and beautiful towns. Umbria still has a feel of virginity and less crowded with tourist as in other parts of Italy. The local food was delicious and the local people more than willing to help if you had a problem. We finished the tour with a lot of taste for more.

· Danube Family Tour 7 Nights
This was a great way for the our kids & grandkids to see the Danube River and learn about European history. The hotels were all very nice and well located in the towns. The segment distances were very good for the children ages 7, 10, & 12. The 7 year old was on the tow behind with Dad so those distances were good for him too. There were numerous places to stop and rest along the way which was nice. The luggage transfer was great and our luggage almost always arrived before we did.
We were 7 in total and it was an amazing trip to be together.
We arrived in Linz early and spent most of an afternoon at the ARS Electronic Center and the kids really enjoyed that.
The weather was all over the place cool the first two days and then it changed to very warm so be prepared for weather changes along the way.- What was the date of your tour?
