Great great trip

What a great trip. Except for the condition of the "hybrid" bike I had (did not use e-bike), everything about this trip was beyond expectations...cabin, food, support, guides. My wife and I have been on other bike trips and have loved them. This trip was truly the best we have done. Everything was done to make the trip 5 stars. Modifications, when needed, were made with consideration for providing the best experience possible. For the casual rider or not in top notch condition
individual, an e-bike, is a must and will make the riding experience way fun. The islands are beautiful. The ride routes have challenging climbs. Guides were extremely knowledgeable, and supportive. The Romantica is charming and seemed the perfect match and vibe for the itinerary.
There are newer and more "glamorous" ships we encountered, but was glad to be on the Romantica.Highest recommendation.
As noted above, my only negative was the non e-bikes provided us. I am an very experienced rider and the bikes provided (the first one was not in acceptable riding condition, and the second provide was just slightly better) were poorly maintained, with shifters not working properly, rusty chains, etc., the wrong size for me, and the rides would have been way more enjoyable on a "good" bike. E-bikes appeared in good condition and well maintained.
In spite of this, I loved this trip.

Loved the accommodations especially in the smaller towns. Breakfast was wonderful. Bikes were in good condition. Our local contacts responded very quickly to any questions we had along the way. Would use them again. 😊

I had a terrific time on this tour. Everything was extremely well organized, from orientation at the beginning of the trip, to the daily route navigation, and luggage arrival at accommodations. The scenery was beautiful, and each town and hotel had a lot of charm! Highly recommend.

The tour was great, Daniel was extremely helpful, and the accommodation was very good. However, the tour should not be rated as easy. The first two days were easy, and it was no problem using a normal bike. However, for the next four days we should have rented electric bikes - it would have made the trip much more enjoyable. It was obvious the seventh day was over the mountains and would be difficult, but did not ever plan to cycle that day, as we only had six days available.

A wonderful adventure - just what I needed
· Danube River and Black Sea
Thank you to the BikeTours.com team for introducing me to Deyan and his team. They were superb hosts and guides sharing stories and beautiful places in their stunning Bulgaria. Deyan changed the lunch stop so I could swim in the Black Sea. The bikes were good, food superb, places we stayed were exceptional. This is a must do trip for those who want an adventure.
Also a shout out to Mariam at Biketours. They always answered my emails quickly and reassured me. I was anxious booking an American tour from England, but thankfully I had nothing to worry about. Planning and paying was easy with Mariam's guidance. Thank you.

Gus was a true pleasure. Nice ride through the countryside along the dikes and green grass fields. Stopped in some quaint villages and a really fun stop at the Cheese and Clog shop.

Friendly, helpful staff, especially Juan, Thelmo. Told us about the real local places to eat, hangout. Hotels were all great. Weather was very nice, scenery great.

De perfecte manier om een grote stad te verkennen en ervaren is een fietstour. Zo hebben wij al meerdere keren mogen ervaren. Dit keer in Istanbul onder begeleiding van Cem en Yasmine. Een goed onderlegde, Engelssprekende gids, die ons veel wetenswaardigheden wist te vertellen over Istanbul.
We fietsten met hem door het Europese en Aziatische deel, met tussendoor een boottocht om zo het prachtige Istanbul vanaf het water te aanschouwen. Cem wist ons veel te vertellen over de stad en zijn geschiedenis. Tussendoor was vragen stellen over van alles mogelijk en verzoeken om nog wat spontane dingen te bezoeken als de tijd dat toeliet, was ook geen probleem. Tussendoor gaf hij ons nog tips over goede restaurants of andere must-sees. De fietsen zijn in prima conditie. Wij hebben het 's een hele leuke tocht ervaren.

Terrific easy ride downriver
· Danube Bike Path 7 Nights (Classic)
We really enjoyed the self-guided ride. We were glad to have the e-bikes for windy days although even we could’ve done this on regular bikes. The hotels were great, luggage on time every day, great breakfast buffets. Bikes were in great condition and hotels had an easy setup to allow for charging in a secured area so we never had to move batteries around to charge them.
I got the gpx files from the local provider and uploaded them to Komoot, which worked great. The provider’s app had more local info but we were used to the Komoot interface so preferred it. Definitely pay attention to where you will be on Sundays/holidays as grocery stores are closed and the hotel restaurant might be closed some days too.
We will for sure be back for another tour. This just whet our appetites for the more intimate interaction with your surroundings that cycling provides.- What was the date of your tour?

The biking was outstanding. The bike paths in the cities were crowded with some aggressive riders. I’n most places motor scooters are allowed on the bike paths. Bring a side/rear view mirror. Although not luxurious, the ship was clean and comfortable. The crew was friendly and helpful, especially the three biking guides. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but it was not set up efficiently so the lines were long. We asked for a carafe of hot water to be placed on our table at breakfast because there were 5 tea drinkers at our table. We were told this was not possible but there were carafes of hot water when tea and coffee was served in the afternoon. When the cookies and cakes in the afternoon were eaten, they were not replaced even though there was often another hour left to this snack time. We did not care for the dinners but most people at our table did like the dinners.

Beautiful countryside and quaint towns all along the way. Ride had good pacing. Our guides, Thomas and Alice, were superb. Staying on the Iris was a pleasure all the way. The accommodations were very comfortable, the crew was terrific, and the food was really fabulous. Would recommend this to my friends.

This was the best way to explore Rotterdam when you only have a few hours to do so. Ariane was so knowledge, showing us both major attractions in the city and a plethora of hidden gems I would've never known about without going on this tour.

We did a self guided tour, the tour director met with us and provided interesting info about Croatia, the routes we would follow, accessing the ferries and more. He was very patient as two 70 year olds mastered the GPS route guidance. It was a great tour and nice to come back to our small apartment each day. The apartment host was very accommodating as well.

Early April in the Netherlands is beautiful and unpredictable. Our tour group navigated our day to day travel perfectly. They adjusted to the riders, weather, and many other factors with grace and positive attitudes. I think the tours themselves attract positive people who are flexible and willing to adjust, because this group of strangers from all over Europe and the US got along like a group of old friends. At the end of the day we enjoys 3 to 4 course amazing meals and shared stories from home. The tulips, windmills, gardens, and towns were great to see, but it was the people that made this tour so amazing. A huge thanks to everyone that worked the Magnifique II during my tour.

Great trip. Scenery is amazing. From high mountains to the sea! Most roads were low traffic (except in towns). The last day had a bit more traffic on the climb but wasn’t too bad. (When the tunnel opens there will be less automobile traffic)There is definitely a lot of climbing (some steep - 10%). So consider an e-bike unless you’re an avid cyclist. Food was good. No problems as a vegetarian. Hotels were good. No problems (a couple were really luxurious).

· Howth Peninsula E-Bike Tour
I recently took part in an incredible 3-hour e-bike tour around the beautiful Howth Peninsula in Dublin, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our group of six riders was guided by a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, with a helpful back sweeper making sure no one got left behind. We were all equipped with quality e-bikes, helmets, and bright red high-vis vests, making the ride safe and comfortable.
The 17.5km route included a great mix of terrain—some light off-road gravel and dirt paths, smooth cycle lanes, and quiet road sections. It’s totally suitable for anyone who can ride a bike, and the e-bikes made hills a breeze. We stopped often for photos and to hear fascinating local stories and historical insights from the guide. The scenery was absolutely stunning throughout. If you're looking for a fun, active, and scenic way to explore Howth, this tour is a must!
