We have spent a magnificent a week on board the Magellan.
The cycling was very well organized with the help of our 3 skilled guides.
The crew made our stay on board very pleasant, the cabins where kept clean every day and the cooks nicely surprised us at every meal.The booking phase went on well as did the follow up.

Great way to see Belgium and The Netherlands! Such beautiful scenery along the bike routes. Riding was mainly on a path. Tour guides were wonderful ensuring everyone’s safety and giving us history of the area along the route.

What a way to meet Croatia. Fantastic bikes, boat, leaders and group. I had just a fantastic week.... from the first tour (a walk around Split) so interesting. Great rides - some long and some shorter - all fun and interesting.... beautiful views. Lucky to meet a lovely group of riders, all keen and on time. The leaders kept us across everything but never overwhelmed us with info.
Only issue - i found it difficult to locate the boat.... there was no clip board outside on the street and it took 4-5 phone calls with the contact person to finally locate the boat. Others told me they had the same experience. The food was also very good.- What was the date of your tour?

Guides were very good and knowledgeable. Also very concerned for our safety. Food excellent, plentiful and well presented. The bikes are old and have high mileage. We had a few issues Cabins were clean. Beds need upgrading.

Beautiful surprises every day!

We enjoyed everything about this tour! We’ve We have participated in afew bike trips now and this was the best so far. The beautiful scenery of Belgium and the Netherlands was like a painting. The towns we rode through were so pretty- it was rose and hydrangea season! Always a good beer or rose plus some kind of sweet specialty on offer! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and took time to get to know all of us. The Zwaantse barge was great- the captain and crew friendly and professional, the cook prepared excellent meals everyday! Couldn’t ask for a better week of riding!

Roman ruins, midieval hilltop castles and walls, vistas and views that will take your breath away. Our crew and guide were outstanding, informative and fun. The food was fabulous: local, interesting, well prepared and well presented. This could have qualified as a food tour alone!!

Amazing tour and incredible way to discover this amazing country. Our guides Bart and Andreas were excellent hosts and did a great job making sure everything went smoothly. The De Amsterdam boat was clean, crew was excellent and meals were very good. The bikes all seemed quite new and functioned very well. The daily routines were well organized for scenic rides with perfect amount of time and distance to enjoy many stops along the way. I would easily recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxing week of sightseeing and moderate cycling. Looking forward to more adventures in the future with bikeboat tours!

I have been on several bike and boat tours. This past week on the ship Running on Waves was certainly a cut above. The ship was immaculate, staff was over the top helpful and catered to everything we could possibly need. Our bike guide Alex was excellent and our rides beautiful, challenging and interesting. 5 + stars.

Terrific guides and a perfect mix of time in rural and urban areas. Enjoyed the beauty of the countryside plus some of the great cities of Europe. Surprised that so many in the group were using e-bikes. The frequency of rest stops was perfect. Food on the boat was excellent.

We went on this tour at the end of a long summer travel, and it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation for our family. Our guides, Tina and Niovi were absolute pros - warm, available, generous and skilled. The level of exertion was just right for our healthy but not super fit family - we got close to our limits for vacation but never felt pushed too far and therefore ended up feeling improved without feeling depleted. The delicious and generous shared meals are served family style so there was plenty of opportunity to socialize with the other guests, and we were lucky to have similar age kids on our trip. The boat is absolutely "ship-shape", in great condition and well maintained and the captain and crew work hard to make it the most comfortable experience possible. They warned us in advance when we might expect swells, and even those days were delightful sailing so I am sure they timed and charted the course for our benefit.

Love riding through gorgeous bike paths during the day and then afternoon and evening relaxing on boat hotel. No need to pack up & move on until trip ended. fabulous food and gracious hosts.

Awesome experience

This trip on Magnifique III was our second after an equally great trip on Magnifique II last year. The boat and bikes were great and the group of 40 people from all over the world made for awesome conversation and fun. Our guide Hester (same as last year) was truly amazing and we were fortunate to have her again. The only negative aspect was the air conditioner broke down on the second day of our August trip which made for some very uncomfortable evenings on board.
