Amazing Adventure!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
What a great biking experience, from the moment we were welcomed onboard. We were always greeted with a smile, and were well informed about next steps: the staff team were awesome! Because the tourist group is small, there was time to find friendship with like minded people from around the world.
The barge is beautiful, and the cabins very efficient. We enjoyed gourmet meals daily, and my food allergies were never a problem thanks to the very creative and talented Chef Jules.
I had never experienced ‘rush hour’ on bicycles, and was in awe that bicycles often get the right of way: so different in Canada! The busy cities gave way to daily rides through true countryside farms and water systems, with interesting stops. A great combination of riding.

Long awaited bike trip
Between Frankfurt and Bamberg on the Main River
Guide and crew aboard the Merlin was fantastic. They were courteous, knowledgeable, hard working and accommodating. Weather not the best but it didn't dampen spirits! Really enjoyed the unique experience of a boat/ bike trip to see Germany. Would definitely consider doing it again !

Awesome trip
Bike and Boat Croatia’s Dalmatia Coast
Croatia was beautiful…the terrain is very mountainous, so we were happy we had ebikes! We enjoyed the biking being only a portion of most days and having time to swim daily in the beautiful Adriatic Sea!

Amazing experience!
Greek Island Adventure by Bike and Sail
What an incredible trip! The team on board was fantastic — always thinking ahead and making everything smooth. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the cabins were super comfy and spotless.
We cycled 20–60 km a day, exploring stunning views of Greece — olive groves, crystal-clear sea, quiet roads, and amazing beaches you couldn’t reach on foot. Morning yoga helped stretch our muscles and get ready for the day.
The food was incredible — never the same twice, with choices between fish and meat, plus fresh berries, fruits, and treats. Highlights included lamb and langoustines. October was perfect — great weather, gorgeous nature, and peaceful towns. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves cycling, nature, and the sea!

Great way to see Belgium and Netherlands!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Being our first bike tour, we didn't know what to expect going into the tour, but we had a great time. The whole team was amazing from the first day to the last day. Having dietary restrictions, they were more than accommodating and didn't make it seem like a burden. All the stops along the way were great and our guide was so knowledgeable. Can't wait to do another one!

Fabulous Bike and Barge trip
Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
This was my first experience with a bike and barge trip. The tour operator did a first class job. The crew were very professional. The food was delicious. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. They kept us safe in areas where the terrain was challenging or where there was a bit of traffic. The cycling was as described as level 1. The experiences along the way were educational and highlighted the Italian culture. Overall a wonderful experience!

Wonderful bike and boat experience
Danube Experience Bike and Boat Passau-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Iron Gates-Passau
The Swiss Crown was a great way to experience riding and touring Austria, Hungary, Serbia and the rest of places we had the pleasure to see. It was disappointing that we were not able to sail to the Iron Gates because of the weather.
The self guided tours was good and relatively easy to follow despite our tour guide. We did not feel he did not do a good job at all He did not speak English well and a lot of what he tried to say got lost in translation and he was not very patient with our questions and concerns. We so enjoyed the boat -- everything about it was just perfect. The food was excellent and our staff were well trained and pleasant.

A wonderful experience!
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
We enjoyed our experience very much! Our seven day tour was very challenging for my athletic husband and me who LOVED my e bike! I couldn't have done the trip with a regular bike due to the elevation and high temperatures during our tour. Don't hesitate to take an bike because you can still pedal and get a workout, but you can also get a boost when you need it on long inclines in high heat conditions.
Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guides Ielena and Eugen were fantastic! Their knowledge of history and biking helped us to have a thoroughly informative and safe ride. The crew of the boat was very helpful and friendly too.
A couple things to keep in mind is the high heat requires light breathable synthetic fabric ( no Cotten clothing!) and head protection . I would suggest taking electrolyte supplement to add to water and it was difficult to stay hydrated. Perhaps we will travel here again during a cooler season but even so, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip!- What was the date of your tour?

Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
This was our first bike tour, and we did not know what to expect. It was better than what we hoped it would be and I would recommend this trip to everyone! Our bike guide, Andri was amazing! He always made sure everyone was together, comfortable with the route and their bike. He was great at explaining where we were going, what to expect and set a perfect pace for the electric bikers and pedal bikers. The sites on the ride were beautiful! It was a great route and we saw many different views along the way from windmills, to fields, a cheese farm and beautiful quaint towns. Our cook on the barge, Amil did an amazing job! Our food was perfect. Breakfast was always tasty and after breakfast we packed a quick sandwich and fruit for lunch. Exactly what we needed midway through our ride. Dinners were absolutely delicious. We had a wide variety of food and it was always fresh, accompanied with an appetizer to start and dessert at the end. he spoiled us! Craig was the assistant chef and assistant for everything! He too, always made sure everything was running smoothly and made sure everyone had what they needed. Our captain, Coen, got us through the canals and locks and to our destinations safely. He even did a city tour with us one night and did an amazing job. The crew all seemed to love their jobs. They were all happy and friendly, and truly made our trip amazing! If we could’ve, we would’ve booked another trip on our last day. We’ll definitely be back!!! Thanks for an amazing experience in Europe!

Bucket list experience!
Holland by Bike and Boat, Northern Tour
The staff and crew were top notch and our guides were superb. The bikes were comfortable and we were well-prepared each day for our semi self-guided rides. The guides were always available along the route to help with directions or point out must-see sites. What a great way to see the Netherlands in an intimate way. We experienced the beauty of Holland in a way that could not happen in a car. I will be back to the Netherlands and I will also use boat/bike format for other tour destinations in the future.

Exceeded expectations

There are many things we discovered about both Belgium and Netherlands as a result of the excellent guides and crew.
Food - excellent and exceeded expectations
Guides were very good and navigated well. They also provided much info about the culture and history.
I believe Bruge to Amsterdam has more tail winds
The "barge" (Magnifique 2) is actually a well equipped ship.
The captain provided a few docking performances and the harbor cruise through Antwerp was fun.
More great memories highly recommended.
