Camino
Camino de Santiago: From Porto to Santiago de Compostela
Overall, this was a fun and interesting trip. The ebikes were great. Never came close to running out of battery power. We used the premium hotel option, but didn’t think all the hotels lived up to that status. The route can be tricky to follow in a few places but the garmin and app do a great job of showing the way. Our biggest complaint was that a few of the rockier sections should’ve been bypassed. The ebikes are not designed for riding over large rocks and are quite heavy to manually maneuver. Since we already skipped a few sections of the trail not good for mixing bikes and hikers, it seemed that these other sections should’ve been skipped as well. Bag transfers and hotel check-ins all went smoothly. The taxi ride to Porto was a bit harrowing, as the driver almost had an accident.

Off-Road Adventure
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
My first tour with Creative Catalonia tours, and I would consider another. I was with a group of eight friends, one who managed the Garmin about 90% of the daily routes were on off-roadway, gravel trails through beautiful countryside. Staying on route required close reading of the route maps at times. The villages toured are amazing for their age and charm. Plenty of great cafes and restaurants along the way. The arranged hotel lodging was very good.

Relaxed Touring
Highlights of Barcelona E-Bike Tour
I enjoyed the tour and felt like we got a great overview of Barcelona’s highlights, from the Gothic quarter right to the Olympic Port and seaside. The pace was easygoing and the guide was friendly, which was perfect for us. My only small gripe is that I wished for a slightly longer stop at the park, but overall it was a lovely morning ride.

Beautiful destinations with several detours
Albarracín to Valencia Along Spain's Longest Greenway
Our group of 8 does bike trips around different countries each year so we are comparing this bike trip to other trips we’ve done. The destinations and customer service were outstanding. Also very good were the hotels, food and the bikes. The only thing we didn’t like was the many diversions around construction and the ride with GPS directions. The road construction was beyond the bike company’s control but we hoped for more communication about detours from the bike company. Also the ride with GPS directions were difficult to follow in a few places and we got lost. One day we rode over 76 kilometers and got to hotel well after dark. One bike had a flat tire and one of our group lost his passport. The bike company did everything they could to fix the tire and help our friend find his passport. In future, I would recommend the bike company verify the ride with GPS directions again and be sure to notify customers about the several diversion areas in advance of the ride. Thank you again for this beautiful bike ride.

Trip the lite fantastic
Gaudi’s Barcelona E-Bike Tour
Biking is the best way to visit any city and Barcelona is very bike friendly. E-bikes are the future, as I say” people who walk must not know how to ride and if you don’t ride an e-bike you are only getting half the fun”

Good way to spend 3 hours
Valencia Highlights Bike Tour
Very busy place and many different tours converge at the sites. Might have been better as a private tour or maybe just rent a bike.

Valencia Highlights Bike Tour
Signed up for ebike tour but slowed down by large family not on e-bikes. Waste of money to book e-bikes.

A joyous ride
Gaudi’s Barcelona E-Bike Tour
We took this tour with our two kids (ages 4 and 6). The younger one rode in a bike seat, while the older enjoyed the ride on a trailer with his dad. The stops along the way were a perfect chance for them to unwind, especially the one at Barceloneta. We even stopped at the Sagrada Família, where they spent 20 minutes enjoying the playground in front.
Our guide, a young and proud Catalan, gave us a wonderful introduction to Catalan history and traditions. The city itself is perfect for biking: it’s flat, spacious, and easy to navigate. As a family, this tour gave us a great overall impression of Barcelona. Outside of the tour, we had been focusing mostly on kid-friendly sights, so it was amazing to also discover some really cool neighborhoods we would have otherwise missed.
Truly a gem and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Amazing experience
Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago (Premium)
Highly recommend this trip. The scenery and route are a nice mix of easier and challenging days, and doing the “self guided” option gave us some flexibility, but we were still confident in the route/directions. Our e-bikes were excellent. The hotels were also excellent - a mixture of boutique and traditional commercial lodging, but all clean and comfortable. Leon and Astorga were especially amazing. Loved it!

Hotels were charming. The bikes were excellent and so was the route. Very happy we were able to get the completion certificate for Camino de Santiago. Our bag always arrived before we got to the next hotel!!

Stunning
Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago (Premium)
I can not speak highly enough of this bike tour. It takes you to the spiritual heart of Spain from Roman times forward. The geographical dimensions are equally as spectacular as you follow the Camino de Santiago from Leon to Santiago de Compostela. Say yes when you get asked for an e-Bike. There is some work to do. Just in the same manner as a Peregrino.
The best part is the hosts - Sergio and Felipe. Attentive, passionate about cycling, and a real attention to detail when it comes to making the most of the experience. Best bike ride I have ever been on.- What was the date of your tour?

Challenging and Beautiful E-Biking Along the French Camino
Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago (Premium)
Camino de Santiago: From Leon to Santiago on an E-Bike
Embarking on our 10th bike tour, we ventured from Leon to Santiago using e-bikes for the first time. The journey was both exciting and challenging, offering breathtaking scenery throughout. Despite it being early spring with many closed hotels, the route was well-planned and curated for us, thanks to Sergio and his team.
The transition from paved roads in bustling areas to thrilling mountain biking paths was seamless. Potential travelers should be prepared for a significant amount of MTB terrain, making the journey quite challenging. The well-maintained e-bikes provided a sense of safety and reliability throughout our trip. In case of any issues, we were equipped with repair tools and had Sergio readily available to address any questions.
We experienced a mix of accommodations, from charming hotels to more practical one-night stays, which complemented the tour perfectly. Overall, it was a rewarding adventure that left us feeling a sense of accomplishment.

Beautiful and Well-Organized Tour
Catalonia's Region of Empordà by Gravel Bike
We had a fantastic time on this tour. For one thing, the scenery is great, and being on gravel for a lot of the time means you get to appreciate it a bit more than we have on more road-oriented tours where we have to pay more attention to traffic.
In particular the scenery along the coasts was great, and it was obvious that great care had been taken with the routes so that we'd get to see some of the best that the Costa Brava has to offer.
Perhaps our favorite part of the tour was the local operator. They were extremely helpful and easy to reach, and always stayed in touch to make sure that everything was going well. On a day with bad weather they specifically gave us some routing tips to make sure that we'd stay safe. They also were very well organized with how they provided the routes via Ride with GPS that made it really easy to see the recommended sites and restaurants in the towns we passed through.

First trip to Portugal, won’t be the last!
Gravel Biking from Alentejo to the Algarve
The local tour company was amazing! Checked in with us every day since we self guided. Bikes were great as were the hotels. We would highly recommend this tour for mountain bikers who who want less challenge or road bikers who want more.

Very fun way to experience a deeper part of Spain
Albarracín to Valencia Along Spain's Longest Greenway
We are two women and we chose this self-guided tour on e-bikes as it was in the location that worked for our traveling schedules and we liked that it would take us from the mountains to the sea. E-bikes for us were the way to go as it gave it ease when we wanted it and challenge if we wished to work a little harder. Almost all the biking is through scenic areas with low to no traffic (along the greenways) and from higher elevations with beautiful green forests and valleys, to the lower lands with olives, truffles and oranges. We really enjoyed the variety of scenery even within a single ride, and loved stopping along the way in villages or at little restaurants to sit and enjoy. All the accommodations were better than expected so we were pleasantly surprised by this along with delicious buffet breakfasts at every location. The only part of the trip that was less enjoyable was getting into Canet you have to ride through some pretty industrial parts (though on a well marked bike path) but on the main road which was different; and again riding through the streets (again an incredible network of bike paths!) in Valencia. In Rubielos de Mora the hotel was especially awesome and they had an excellent Spa that we took full advantage of (for an extra fee). Albarracin is an amazing old city that we also thoroughly enjoyed. The local company was excellent as well with logistics and routes. All in all it was a super fun adventure and I can highly recommend it!
TIPS:
Download the Ride with GPS App and learn how to use it before your trip so you can receive and use the gpx files that give you the routes. Make sure to download the routes each day for OFFLINE use.
Bring biking gloves
Once you have the routes is super easy to find your way.
They give you a paneer and a bike kit but only one bike was fitted with the phone holder ~ maybe request one for each bike so you all have access to the route and easy access to a camera. We took a lot of photos but it was hard to access the second camera as the paneers have no outside pocket.
We needed a lot of sunscreen and layered clothing.
In Canet call ahead of time and ask for a room with a sea view.
If you are sensitive to traffic noise ~ in Valencia ask for a room high up and away from the main street or better yet maybe they can book you an accommodation in the Old City: Same for Teruel. The other towns are small and quieter.
You are responsible for your bikes during the trip so make sure they are always in a safe location.Take your time and enjoy!
