Wonderful experience
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
The guides were wonderful! The rides challenging. I rode a regular bike, my wife an e-bike. We were both pleasantly challenged. Only an in shape experienced cyclist should try a regular bike. Elevation gain over distance is considerable. Beautiful views, nice villages.
We had below deck rooms. I don’t recommend them. At one point the sewage backed up into our toilet and the smell was awful. They repaired it in several hours.
The reason given was: it’s an old boat and the seals are not good. There is a new owner who needs to fix this!
Meals were plentiful. Breakfasts very good. Dinners were simple and adequate. Lots of grilled or fried fish and meat.- What was the date of your tour?

Mosel Wine and Cake
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
The staff on the boat spoke English and most, including our guide were completely fluent. Language was not an issue. The food was varied and healthy, although favorite part of the services onboard was tea and cake at 3pm. Although they were comfortable to sit on, the bicycles were quite heavy. Not a big deal on the flat route we were biking, but they did require more effort to pedal than I would have preferred.

Way ahead of expectations!
Greek Island Adventure by Bike and Sail
Our boat was beautiful and very comfortable with lots of gathering spaces, excellent food, friendly staff and guides. Our daily rides were well explained and designed with consideration of the groups abilities and interests.
All in all though it was the people taking care of us that made the difference. Each one appeared to be looking for ways to help or support our experience.

Tremendous Tulip Tour!
Holland’s Southern Relax Tulip Tour
My husband and I enjoyed this tour beyond measure! The room on the barge, tho tiny, was functional and cozy. Our guide Burt was super cool and knowledgeable of the area. There was 26 riders, so perhaps a second guide would have been helpful, but it worked just fine with one. The scenery was unbelieveable and we LOVED seeing the tulips and riding through the bucolic countryside. Be sure to dress warm! My favorite pull was through the Dunes, otherworldly habitat for Holland. Every meal on the barge was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you like riding bikes and appreciate flowers, gardens, and bird life you will love this tour!

Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique II (and reverse)
This trip had it all - new friends, good food, interesting and beautiful cities, history and bicycling. However the bicycling was quite easy. I wish the route maps were updated so that we could have added more miles and ridden on our own especially when the groups were quite large.

An Ideal Vacation
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
Riding the Mosel River in Germany is to experience seven days of sheer beauty of countless vineyards planted in a wild geometry on the steep valleys along the river. The villages with the profusion of flowers bursting from every window make you feel you have stepped into a story book. I've done this trip twice. Once with a regular bike and once with an Ebike. The Ebike is easier, of course, but the regular bike was very doable for an 84 year old who is just a weekend rider.

Always wanted to do this type of trip but can never find anyone to do it with. Went with a friend and we are so impressed with the trip we are planning another one in 2026. I have traveled all over the world and this ranks up there as one of my favorite.

Paris Evening Bike & Boat Tour
I've done this tour twice when I've visited Paris - the first two years ago and then this June. I loved them both - they were different but each wonderful. The tour this June (2025) took great advantage of all of the new bicycle lanes in Paris so it was a lot of fun to ride on those all through Paris!

As much as you want it to be
Danube Delights: Cycling and Cruising in the Footsteps of Royalty
This was our first experience with any kind of boat "tour" and we took it with some trepidation of it being too cushy and not offering enough activity. It proved to be the best of both.
It combined the best aspects of a boat tour (small and intimate, exploring new places each day without having to move luggage) without the aspects we associate with a boat cruise/tour (schmaltzy events in the evening, formal dress and food events).
We found fellow passengers to be fit, open to adventure and informal in the evening while able to share their previous world travels. The staff was gracious, attentive, and invisible when not needed. Dinner courses were presented as if at a high-end restaurant and special food needs tracked by them throughout the week. Alcohol prices were reasonable. The Cruise Director was knowledgeable and well prepared.
Standard and ebikes were well maintained and staging meetings helpful for passengers to know the next day's' route and highlights.
And finally, each town we in which we moored, each village and bierhouse we visited, was hospitable and accommodating.
