Bucket list experience!
Holland by Bike and Boat, Northern Tour
The staff and crew were top notch and our guides were superb. The bikes were comfortable and we were well-prepared each day for our semi self-guided rides. The guides were always available along the route to help with directions or point out must-see sites. What a great way to see the Netherlands in an intimate way. We experienced the beauty of Holland in a way that could not happen in a car. I will be back to the Netherlands and I will also use boat/bike format for other tour destinations in the future.

Exceeded expectations
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
There are many things we discovered about both Belgium and Netherlands as a result of the excellent guides and crew.
Food - excellent and exceeded expectations
Guides were very good and navigated well. They also provided much info about the culture and history.
I believe Bruge to Amsterdam has more tail winds
The "barge" (Magnifique 2) is actually a well equipped ship.
The captain provided a few docking performances and the harbor cruise through Antwerp was fun.
More great memories highly recommended.

Saarburg to Koblenz Great Trip
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
A great way to get out and explore Germany and suitable for all levels of fitness. The staff was very friendly, caring and well organised, speaking English and German. Our October trip was a little wet but still beautiful....the colours of the Autumn Fall were spectacular. Riding through the quiet streets of the villages along the Moselle was like taking a step back in time. A great way to get a feel of Europe past and present. The meals and afternoon teas were amazing. Although the boat is old, it is well kept and extremely clean. Our bedding was much more comfortable than I expected judging from the photos and we slept well...no noises at night. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt very safe. Would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful bike trip
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
This was my first bike n boat trip. It was better than I expected. I had taken a big river boat trip and this was so much better. The trails and small towns and vineyards were amazing. I would do this again. The crew was the best!

First biking vacation but won't be our last!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
This was our first biking vacation and what a wonderful time we had. The Magnifique 111 was a beautiful barge with all the amenities. The crew and guides were excellent. Thank you Bas, Ingeborg, Sigrid, Alexandra, Derk Jan, Marnik, Corrie and Wilmie. A special thanks to Corrie and Wilmie (our bike guides) who got up a 5:30 am on our last day to see us off and make sure our taxi showed up to take us to the airport. The meals on board were excellent as well as the service. The whole crew went above and beyond all week. The biking route was very scenic and was a route for beginners. It was mostly flat as described with a few inclines mostly going over bridges. Looking forward to another biking trip.

Danube bike and boat
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
It was a great trip! We biked through the most scenic countryside, passing vineyards, old castles, and small villages. Of course all of that with the beautiful Danube by our side.
The crew on the Swiss Crown was extremely friendly and very accommodating.
We enjoyed lots of great views from the boat. We especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck of boat or on our cabin balcony in the evening.
The meals were great. Starting the morning with the breakfast buffet or a freshly made omelette. For dinner, you had your choice of entrees including regional dishes.

Coastal Islands of Southern Dalmatia
This was a terrific tour with great biking, awesome swimming off of the boat, great food and wonderfully attentive guides and crew!! I would do this trip again in a heartbeat!!

Fantastic Trip across the board!!
Cultural Splendors of the Peloponnese and Saronic Isles E-bike and Boat
This was an absolutely wonderful trip with an excellent boat (Erato), crew, wonderful chef and a particularly terrific guide (Chrysa !!!). Fantastic riding, wonderful towns and rest stops, incredible food and comfortable cabins. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

An easy and beautiful bike and barge tour
Metz and Cochem Classic Version
The barge was extremely comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The cycling was quite easy (longest day was 44km) and our guides were professional and very helpful. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it, including to prepare take away lunches. Scenery was spectacular, cycle paths were clear and uncrowded, and villages and towns we stopped at were interesting.

Dutch Delight
Holland by Bike and Boat, Southern Tour
Amazing tour and incredible way to discover this amazing country. Our guides Bart and Andreas were excellent hosts and did a great job making sure everything went smoothly. The De Amsterdam boat was clean, crew was excellent and meals were very good. The bikes all seemed quite new and functioned very well. The daily routines were well organized for scenic rides with perfect amount of time and distance to enjoy many stops along the way. I would easily recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxing week of sightseeing and moderate cycling. Looking forward to more adventures in the future with bikeboat tours!

Fantastic Trip
Greek Island Adventure by Bike and Sail
I have been on several bike and boat tours. This past week on the ship Running on Waves was certainly a cut above. The ship was immaculate, staff was over the top helpful and catered to everything we could possibly need. Our bike guide Alex was excellent and our rides beautiful, challenging and interesting. 5 + stars.

Wonderful trip

Terrific guides and a perfect mix of time in rural and urban areas. Enjoyed the beauty of the countryside plus some of the great cities of Europe. Surprised that so many in the group were using e-bikes. The frequency of rest stops was perfect. Food on the boat was excellent.

Perfect balance for families
Ionian Islands Multi-sport Family Cruise
We went on this tour at the end of a long summer travel, and it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation for our family. Our guides, Tina and Niovi were absolute pros - warm, available, generous and skilled. The level of exertion was just right for our healthy but not super fit family - we got close to our limits for vacation but never felt pushed too far and therefore ended up feeling improved without feeling depleted. The delicious and generous shared meals are served family style so there was plenty of opportunity to socialize with the other guests, and we were lucky to have similar age kids on our trip. The boat is absolutely "ship-shape", in great condition and well maintained and the captain and crew work hard to make it the most comfortable experience possible. They warned us in advance when we might expect swells, and even those days were delightful sailing so I am sure they timed and charted the course for our benefit.

Awesome experience
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
This trip on Magnifique III was our second after an equally great trip on Magnifique II last year. The boat and bikes were great and the group of 40 people from all over the world made for awesome conversation and fun. Our guide Hester (same as last year) was truly amazing and we were fortunate to have her again. The only negative aspect was the air conditioner broke down on the second day of our August trip which made for some very uncomfortable evenings on board.

The entire trip was awesome from start to finish. Tour guide(Hester)and boat staff/captain were all extremely accommodating at every request. The thirty four passengers from U.S.,Canada,Scotland,Brazil,Germany,Switzerland and Portugal were all easy going and ranged in ages fro two teenage girls to people around 70.There were never any issues between the guests during meals, evening relaxing time and daily rides.The choice of paths/routes brought out the best of Belgium and Holland and high lighted the country side farms and villages as well as several larger cities. The only suggestions we have would be to try and provide a little variety of breakfast foods and keep the cabin temperature a little cooler on very hot summer days.

Best bike/sail trip yet!
Denmark and Sweden by Sail and Bike
We had 30 bikers, so the group was divided into two, and eventually evolved into three biking groups. Since many had downloaded the app, some people set off on their own. The e-bikes were wonderful and welcome since the winds off the coast could be strong! Although it rained on arrival day, it was sunny and 60’s every day thereafter. The biking varied- from urban streets to rural farm areas with few major inclines. Amazing traditional and contemporary architecture, climbing roses, peonies, and poppies everywhere. Danish and Swedish locals were friendly and helpful as needed.
The ship had 4 comfortable areas for people to hang out in; two inside and two outside. The sailing crew (all young women) were fabulous: friendly, helpful, and strong (!) when putting up the sails! Chef Pete was phenomenal- gourmet meals and fika daily at 4:00. The Captain was friendly and entertaining - very proud of his boat and crew, understandably.
The tour guides were friendly, fun, and incredibly helpful as bikers fell or had tire issues. In past bike/barge tours, the program guides provided more history, info, etc about each city, but we googled/translated info as needed.
I’ve been on 3 other bike/sail trips so assumed the compartments would be small; there were complaints among new tour participants expecting more room.
