A nice tour but a few hiccups along the way
· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
On the first day of the tour, our bags were not delivered by the 6:00 pm promised time. I called the emergency number and found out that they never were picked up from our departure hotel. The fault was with the Hotel Halm who said that we had never checked in the evening before. Our bags arrived at about 8:00pm but it kind of ruined a nice evening that I spent waiting in the lobby instead of enjoying a pleasant dinner. On the 3rd day just as we started our ride my wife had a flat rear tire on her e-bike. Our instructions stated to not attempt to change an e-bike rear tire. It was a Sunday and the bike shop in town was closed. I asked to have another bike delivered but was told that it was not possible. We were told to take a train to the next town where a replacement bike was to be delivered by 0900 the following day. The replacement bike arrived at about 10:45. The rest of the trip went according to plan. The weather on the 3rd day was really beautiful, so I regret that we were not able to ride on that day.

Accomodation was all very good, bikes in fantastic condition and all the required information was presented in an easy to understand and work way - highly recommend Bike Tours and will definitely be booking another bike tour

Geneve to Lyon
· Along the Rhône River from Geneva to Lyon
Lovely October ride with my 70 yo brother on conventional bikes. We are fit, but not athletes per se. Our high school French was sufficient thanks to all the accommodating people en route. Very nice to get away from touristy areas for a genuine experience.

Loved our trip, amazing way to see this part of the world

We loved every minute of our trip. We got lost a few times, but realised that in Austria the sign posting wasn't as reliable than it was in Germany and Switzerland.

A great adventure!
· Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This was a fantastic experience for both myself and my fiancé to explore the Swiss and German countryside. The tour maps laid out everything very clearly and we enjoyed biking through beautiful small villages. We would take every opportunity to stop along the biking trail at local historic sites and castles that were all suggested in our tour guide booklet. Each hotel we stayed at was top notch with very comfortable amenities and free breakfast included in the morning (which was great before biking 30-40miles). Overall we were super pleased with our decision to go on this trip. It was so well organized and it took out all the stress of having to plan out all the small details so that we could just enjoy biking and having fun.

Adventure Around the Lake
· Lake Constance Classic (11-nights)
A perfect way to spend 10 or so days biking. There is so much to see on this mostly bike trail ride. If you are looking for a relaxing trip with things to see each day, this is the one. A little research on each of the towns you stay will reward you with some fun things to see. Most of all, plenty of Benches to stop and take in the sites around you.

Exceeded expectations!
· Lake Constance Classic (11-nights)
Our group of 4 opted for the self guided tour. The e-bikes were great and we are happy we chose them even though we are all able-bodied cyclists. There are a few hills where the e-bike made the trip much more enjoyable and they are smooth pedaling for flat terrain. The hotels were all charming and very convenient to the towns. Breakfasts were always amazing. The only downside was lack of directions to and from the hotels to the daily route. We got lost and back tracked often. Wish there were simple written instructions as the maps provided didn’t give any turn by turn instructions.

· Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
Hotels were great. Liked having the option to ride the whole route rather than skip the longer steeper climbs. Enjoyed the ferry ride. The navigation app worked great. A huge improvement over the older version. I love this route.

Nice tour, but pricey.
· Highlights of the Swiss Rhine: Lake Constance to Basel
This was my fifth Biketours.com tour, fourth as a couple. The other tours, Saar/Mosel, Danube, and Lake Constance were almost totally on bike paths along waterways. The first day from Rorschach to Gottlieben was a repeat of the last day of the Constance tour. The second day we pedaled against a fierce westerly headwind. The boat ride from Stein am Rhein to Shaffhausen was nice, but two people and two bikes cost 90 Swiss Francs. The train would have been much cheaper, faster, but not as nice. In fact, the whole time we spent in Switzerland this trip was a price shock due to the value of the Franc. For this reason, I'd recommend tours in EU countries over this one. Day three involved some long, steep climbs along rural roads with little traffic. An E-bike is recommended for this reason. We didn't used E-bikes. Days four and five were on some roads with heavy traffic, and some rougher gravel paths. Scenery was nice, but no better than other river tours we've done. Bikes were great, seats comfortable, hotels very good. Not having printed guidebooks as we've had on previous tours took a little getting used to, but the provided app worked fine, except for finding hotels, especially Basel. One bag transfer per person required us to be flexible - two bags per person for previous tours. In summary, we enjoyed the tour, but believe our previous tours were better values.

· Three Lakes Tour: From Geneva to Annecy
Great way to see the French country side (9/-0) Riding was not difficult. E-bikes were good. My battery did not hold a charge for the entire day (7-8 hours of riding ). Would have been nice to have an extra battery. The staff did not fit my wife’ for her bike properly at the outset (the seat could not be lowered). The GPS guidance was confusing at times - they need to have a better app. Hotels were 7/10 (pleasant but not great - although they were A+ - Annecy was nice) I would recommend staying an extra day in Annecy at the end (beautiful town). I give the trip overall an 8/10.

Beautiful Route
· Three Lakes Tour: From Geneva to Annecy
After navigating out of busy Geneva we were rewarded with beautiful open country side, thick forests, small villages, views of the Rhone River and eventually huge glacial made lakes surrounded by tall mountain ranges. Until this trip we've always been self-guided and the only ones on the route at that time. This tour had about 5 couples starting the same day although we all went our own pace. It was nice to meet people from other countries and backgrounds experiencing the same daily route. Quality of hotels varied but some towns had very limited options.
