Incredible Experience
Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
This was my first bike tour and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Our group was small with 5 bikers and 2 guides. The other bikers were very friendly and we all got along well. The guides were incredible and I could not have asked for more supportive, friendly, helpful people to enjoy this experience with. The accommodations each night were very comfortable and in perfectly safe areas.
While it was definitely a physically demanding trip, it was attainable and we all completed the trip perfectly fine. While I do bike regularly, I'm certainly not the ideal specimen of fitness. I bike around 30-50 miles a week and found the trip a little more difficult than I anticipated. But again, I would not let this discourage you from going.
The guides were all from the Prague/Dresden area and so were able to share historical and relevant information about the sites and cities along the way. This trip was more than a bike tour--it was also a cultural tour. In addition, the sites are absolutely breathtaking. I'm giving myself a few weeks to recover and then planning my next one!

A perfect way to see and experience Germany and Austria.
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
We loved our cycling trip along the Danube; it was a memorable experience in so many ways. The bike paths were well marked and made the ride so enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful, and we loved each day and the cities and towns we had a chance to visit. The accommodation was fabulous - each hotel/inn was beautiful and unique and we were welcomed with incredible European hospitality. Our luggage transfer was seamless, without a glitch the entire trip and made the arrival (and departure) so easy for us on both ends. I would highly recommend this tour and the company itself - we hope to plan another trip in the future. Thank you Bike Tours.com - it was a trip that we will never forget.

Passau to Vienna
Danube Bike Path 7 Nights (Classic)
All the logistics were luggage handling and hotel arrangement were first class. The pre tour briefing was excellent with good tips about places to see. The Mapping was excellent and provided excellent directions and suggested stop over points for lunches etc. The breakfasts and evening meal provided were more than adequate and the 4* hotels were great. The ride was well spaced out with two quite long days about 65 Km being a little long particularly into a head wind. But overall th etrip along the Danube and the services provided made for an excellent self guide tour

A Family Holiday Adventure
Danube Family Tour 7 Nights
For our family of three this was a great way to see the countryside of Austria. The bikes were in very good condition with packs included. The course guide was clear, with additional information if you wish to site see along the way... we opted out of site seeing as the weather was very hot, so we made regular stops to swim in the river, for ice-cream, and to pick ripe plums off the tree! We rode up to 50km the first two days so be prepared for that if you aren't used to riding... our 9year old did fine with regular stops. The course is very easy and picturesque with plenty of other riders to chat with.
The hotels were charming and the food very nice, the only flaw being no air-conditioning (average team for us was 33).
We really had a great time and I would definitely recommend this tour to other families.

The overall experience was very good. Only disappointment was with the material provided. The highlights and descriptions of what to look for along the route were only provided in German. We were a group of 6 Canadians so were at a distinct disadvantage.

Toured the Danube path from Passau to Vienna. Hotels were all excellent. The bike path was mostly easy to follow but be careful to stay on route at any detours. Really enjoyed the flexibility of a self guided tour.

Amazing trip, wonderful memories
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Overall the trip was excellent. We enjoyed the rides, the beautiful countryside, City tours and company of our fellow passengers. The boat and rooms were clean, the service was great and the food was delicious. The bikes worked great and the seats were very comfortable.
Communication could have been better. For example on the first day the boat couldn't make it into Passau so we showed up at the dock to busses with no notification. There were major floods about 10 days before our cruise and it would have been nice to get a general acknowledgement of the situation prior to the trip.
We felt fairly rushed on the bikes especially on the first day through the Danube Bend and from Vác to Esztergom. Even another hour could have made the trip more relaxed. The later route still had lots of mud and took a lot longer than expected.
The trip was comfortable and well organized. We plan to do another trip in the future.

Bustling cities and quiet small towns
Danube Discovery: Bike and Boat through Enchanting Capitals
This trip is a perfect balance to visit thriving, iconic cities and then take in small towns on a peaceful ride along the Danube. Overall, the experience was excellent. The boat crew/staff were friendly, enthusiastic and efficient. The 3-course dinners were top notch and my cabin, which wasn't a bad size, was always spotless (lots of hot water - a bonus). All the bikes were ready to go when we needed them and loaded back on at the end of the day. The bike routes were well laid out and very easy without an ebike - very flat. We got stuck in a river lock on this trip and had to spend a full day on the boat - not the operator's fault, but there wasn't much to do on the boat except relax. The Prinzessin Katharina is more basic that some of the other boats we saw, but the value is certain there. I would recommend this trip.

Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Combining biking with boating created a unique experience of physical activity combined with comfort and with a unique social experience. The entire staff was excellent and their attitude was to go out of their way to accommodate our wishes and produce a high quality experience. Starting with the director Leslie, there are not enough words to describe how professional, positive, full of energy and accommodating this quality individual is. He was not alone, all the staff, including the wonderful guides, servers, cleaning staff, entertaining individual , in short the entire team was wonderful. I will certainly sign again for a boat bike trip with your excellent first, rate company and I can’t wait for next year to come back.

Amazing bike holiday
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
Our bike holiday this summer was a perfect way to discover and enjoy the wonderful landscapes and sights of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, riding along Lake Constance in five days, between August 21 and August 25. The weather was excellent: no rain and not very hot, just perfect.

We loved every minute of our trip. We got lost a few times, but realised that in Austria the sign posting wasn't as reliable than it was in Germany and Switzerland.
