great way to see city
Best of New York E-Bike Tour
This e-bike tour was an incredible way to see New York City! Riding from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Empire State Building was both exciting and effortless. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience fun, memorable, and easy to enjoy.

Trip exceeded my expectations!
Sparta and the Mediterranean Coast
We were on the self-guided trip. The GPS instructions are fantastic! We had e-bikes which were excellent and comfortable.
It seems like the Peloponnese Peninsula is an undiscovered gem. We went in the middle of September and it was not at all crowded and so beautiful. We often had the beaches to ourselves and the water was wonderful to swim in. We swam in the Sea everyday on this trip.
The roads are very good. If you are questioning at all whether to get an e-bike, you should. Our goal was to enjoy the trip and not worry about the next hill… and there will be the next hill. There are a lot of challenging climbs on this trip but very doable with an e-bike (and with a road bike if you want the challenge).
The scenery is incredible! You are surrounded by mountains, the Aegean Sea, and a lot of olive and orange groves.
You start in Sparta, which was our least favorite spot/hotel but it’s really just overnight and then you head to the coast! All of the other towns and hotels were so much better. We were very impressed with our hotels which all had balconies overlooking the sea.
The GPS gets you to the town but not necessarily to the exact hotel. When we got to Elea, we had to rely on Google Maps to actually find our hotel, so be aware of that. That was the only tricky one.
We bought the transport from and to Athens. The drivers were both terrific and they are actually guides for the company so during the ride they share so much information about the area. I asked to see the Corinth Canal (which you pass by) and our driver took us there and gave us a 15 minute car break to walk over it and take pictures!
The bikes have water bottle holders, a phone holder and a rack on the back which the pannier is attached to.
This trip exceeded my expectations!

Great ride through beautiful scenery
Emerald Tour of Slovenia’s Gems
A great ride for everyone even those who may not be regular cyclists. The schedule is not too taxing for e bike riders who only cycle occasionally. The route takes you through some really beautiful scenery albeit a bit hilly at times and the hotels were all in great locations.

Everything I had hoped for!
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
What a great way to see a beautiful part of the world. I had wanted to do this fr nearly 50 years and the E-bikes made it possible. The accomodations were great and bike friendly. Food was always well prepared and tasty. My wife has a very strict vegan diet and all the facilities were aware of it and most helpful. My brother fell and cracked his wrist and the hotel was most helpful and got us to great care. (Note to biker: do not try to take pictures with a phone in the right hand and then try to brake with just the left hand....a go-pro would have been worth it) We extended in Vienna and enjoyed tours there and a day to Budapest.

Best of San Francisco E-Bike Tour
John was our tour guide and he was super funny and thought us a lot about San Francisco and it’s history. If you only bike/walk you would miss all this interesting information. The tour gave us a great impression of the city. John always gives you the opportunity to take pictures and take breaks if needed (we didn’t, but it still made us feel good and looked after). 10/10 would do it again!

Beautiful scenery, fabulous hotel, good routes
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
It was a self-guided tour with residential stay at Belleview Hotel in Dobbiaco. Hotel boasts fantastic views and fine cuisine dining. Everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming. The routes were well-thought through, with a minibus taking us there or back on some days (saving the need to cycle uphill). Really enjoyed the scenery and the culture. The company app was a great help on finding the way too! The only thing that we were not absolutely happy about were the loose gravel tracks which at times were slippery and not safe for a less experienced cyclist - but the most of routes run (at least partially) on paved paths and are a joy to ride.

Lake Constance Classic (11-nights)
The tour was great. I wish that we had a gps with us. There should be an alternate route to St Gallen for less experienced riders. Finding the cog railroad was hard and the downhill decent was challenging for our weaker riders.

One os the best destinations to cycle!
Turkish Riviera - Cruise and Bike the Lycian Coast
I took this trip a year ago in the end of October and it was a perfect match of the weather and scenery. The cycling route is brilliantly planned, very safe and full of breathtaking nature, this mix gives you a feeling of being reunited with nature.

A memorable cycling trip ...

We were extremely pleased with the service we received through Biketours.com. Your website served as a terrific tool for choosing and planning a trip to meet our interests. The staff added to the quality of the planning by clarifying information on your website and by answering all of our questions. You were prepared to customize the tour to meet our needs and you offered suggestions that improved our experience. We felt that our trip was important to you. We were particularly pleased with the speed in which the staff responded and how another staff member would provide answers if our main contact was out of the office.
We were very pleased with the route. It offered us a nice combination of excellent and safe pathways (of varying surfaces) along rivers, through farmlands and in parklands. The route allowed us to enjoy some wonderful smaller towns and villages. The scenery was spectacular. The route also offered us opportunities for some interesting stops so that we could enjoy the local history, architecture, culture, foods and people.

It was a great ride around town with interesting commentary. We've been on tons of bike tours in many countries. This one had fewer stops, and longer talking at the stops. Guide was able to answer any and all questions, and we learned a lot about the city and country.

As advertised. This was a picture book trip if there ever was one. Towns, hotels and luggage delivery were perfectly arranged. Days1 & 2 & 5 were flat. Days 3 & 4 were a little more than level 2 hills, however, the gears on the bikes were good enough to get through the climbs. This is our 3rd trip through Biketours and their service is perfect. I would do this trip again. I would upgrade from B to A hotels next time but the B hotels were good enough for our short time in each.

Connemara Lazy Days Cycling
A great way to experience this wonderful region of Ireland. My wife and I decided on a late August tour and weren't disappointed, but be prepared for changeable weather each day, from rain and clouds to sunny and warm. Definitely rent some panniers to hold rain gear, jacket, etc. The bicycles performed well and we cycled through all the gears in the hilly countryside.
The Connemara Tour staff were friendly and very helpful.

Could not have been better
Salzburg Lakes Tour: Around the Lakes within the Foothills of the Alps
Well thought out routes and hotel selection. Three 60 and 70 something guys on level 3 Salzburg Takes Tour had great trip with moderate riding. Variety of light to moderate terrain with scenery unparalleled on post cards was fantastic.
Everyone we encountered from booking to bike and route briefings was outstanding, helpful and seemed to love what they do.
I'll be looking at future trips as this one ranked very highlly!

Umbria The green Valleys a pleasant surprise
Umbria’s Green Valleys From the Pilgrimage Town of Assisi
The area was absolutely wonderful. The local bike company charming and most helpful. Every one of the hotels had its own charm and uniqueness. the bike tour itself was just one adventure after another going through the small villages and beautiful towns. Umbria still has a feel of virginity and less crowded with tourist as in other parts of Italy. The local food was delicious and the local people more than willing to help if you had a problem. We finished the tour with a lot of taste for more.

Great Ride!!
Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
This was a great ride along well marked trails. The E-bikes were in great condition and easy to ride. We spent several extra days in Prague and rode to Karlštejn Castle. The ride to Karlstejn was a good segue into the ride from Prague to Dresden.
The hotels were all very nice even though several were not air conditioned most had fans that made the stays comfortable. Each of the stopover towns had their unique charm and points of interest. Several of the shorter ride days were filled with great options. Once we got to Litomerice there was plenty of time to explore Terezin Fortress. The day we rode to Bad Schanda we spent most of the day in Hřensko and hiked to visit the largest natural land bridge in Europe.
There were ample places to stop along the entire route for breaks and refreshments. We met many wonderful people from all over Europe doing the same ride and had a great time visiting with them. The package was well put together and fun to ride.
