Perfect Family Trip
Loire a Velo: Orleans to the Atlantic
We were a family of 12 ranging in age from 11 to 86. It was PERFECT! Wonderful hotels, fantastic food, a beautiful trail, good bikes, short rides each day so we could enjoy the features along the way like the chateaux and the Magic Museum in Blois.

Trip of a lifetime!
UNESCO Sites of Albania
The UNESCO bike trip is definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for organization, bike route, accommodations, food, guide, and van driver/support. Albania is a beautiful country, still relatively untouched by tourism. Our guide Mateo and van driver Roxjens are the best. Mateo is very organized, communicates clearly about the day’s agenda, and has a good sense of humor. We had a luggage delay and Mateo went above and beyond to get our suitcases to us in the most timely manner possible. Roxjens is helpful, ambitious and always had a smile on his face. He changed my flat tire and had me back on the road in record time! The food is delicious and plentiful. There is a fun variety of accommodations, all very comfortable. Highly recommend this bike tour!

Amazing Trip!
National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
An incredible way to explore the coast of Croatia, including several islands and national parks. What a beautiful country! Our guides, Tara and Serge were the best - well organized, great communicators, personable and fun! The Magellan is a beautiful boat, well equipped, with a great crew. The food was fabulous. Our e-bikes were very comfortable and the daily mileage was very manageable. It was nice to have time for the walking tours, exploring the towns on our own and eating dinner in the local establishments several nights during the trip. We went at the end of August and the weather was perfect, in the 80s, which meant we could swim off the ship in the Adriatic Sea every day. A big bonus! Definitely recommend this trip with no hesitation.

Good solid bike tour with great food and tours
Florence to Rome: Bike through the Heart of Italy
Guide was very knowledgeable . The lunches were excellently prepared by driver . The accommodations except at one hotel were all top notch and bags were transported to rooms efficiently .
My one comment is not on tour itself but the process . I did not know that the guests were all from Germany and Austria and most of the tour was in German . The guide was bi lingual but had to translate just for me .

An Exquisite Way To See Italy!
A Taste of Italy: Emilia-Romagna
To be honest we did not fully know what we were getting ourselves in to - but this trip checked every box and surprised us with how well thought out it was. Each hotel was beautiful in accommodations and city placement. Dinner and activity recommendations were on point. And most importantly, the bike support and GPS were perfect. I would recommend this tour to everyone and anyone! Would recommend that you purchase the additional cooking class- It was the highlight.

How we experienced the trip.
Aare Cycle Route: Along the Jura, Aare, and Rhine Rivers
Biketour.com is a reliable company and you get a fast answer to your questions. We had though some problems with the co-working German company. When the bikes arrived they were not e-bikes! That was discovered early on because we took some extra nights at the first hotel and the bikes were replaced before the trip began the next day. However we could not use the bikes in town on the first day. One bike had a misplaced saddle but after some repair by the handy man driving it, this was solved too. The luggage was very late 8pm on the first day, it should arrive at the latest at 6 pm; thereafter it worked well. The bikes were very good. Hotel staff always friendly. Beds were very good. Free wifi everywhere. Some problems with missing aircondition during the hot days/nights. Sightseeing: A most beautiful trip through historic towns. Stork village. Rhine falls. The weather in our favor.

Amsterdam Extended Countryside E-Bike Tour
Amazing bike ride in the countryside near Amsterdam with gorgeous scenery! If you have to choose one bike tour in Amsterdam, I’d highly recommend this one. Our guide was helpful, informative and made the whole experience very fun. If you are a novice biker or want a leisurely ride, I’d suggest the e-bike since it was the perfect way to see the sights without breaking a sweat. Great tour for solo travelers.

Washington DC Monuments & Memorials Bike Tour
This bike tour was a fantastic way to see all the historical monuments and having a guide full of useful information gave depth to the places we visited. Will definitely be taking advantage of biking day tours in the future because you can cover a lot more ground in a short amount of time. I loved seeing the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall, so much history, absolutely amazing!!!

A delightful day outside
Appian Way, Catacombs & Aqueducts Rome E-Bike Tour
I had never ridden an e-bike before, and the four of us riders were all over 60, so I was a little nervous about this trip. But Emmanuele gave us good instructions and told us what to expect. He was cheerful, helpful, and full of information about the different things we saw on our ride. The catacomb tour was first. It is done by the people who manage the catacombs, and we were shepherded in with other visitors there. We met up with Emmanuele again when we came out. Even though we thought it would be cool to ride on the famous Appian way, it wasn't my favorite part. It was pretty bumpy, but, but after 200 meters the big stones gave way to cobblestones and eventually to a dirt road. Most of the ride was in a big loop that wound through the aqueducts and other picturesque ruins. The pace was leisurely with time to take photos and ask questions. I appreciated Emmanuele's efforts to cater to our interests. He made a couple of stops along the way so we could see the Quo Vadis church and the church of St. Sebastian, which weren't on the regular itinerary. It was altogether a wonderful day.

Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
I went on a portion of this tour as a BikeTours.com staff member from Geneva to Lausanne and Vevey. The Lavaux Vineyards, on the Swiss side of Lake Geneva, are a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site. The wine has been produced in this region since the 11th century. Alpine views and the stunning, clear Lake Geneva are other highlights. This level 2 tour is relatively flat with a few hilly sections up by the vineyards. You can experience Switzerland without having to pedal up mountains, and an e-bike makes the journey even more accessible for all. The Schweiz Mobil national network of cycling paths is well-maintained and clearly marked. In my 8 days of cycling, we were confused about signage only a handful of times. Be sure to plan for lunch or attractions before you begin cycling, as restaurants are generally only open from about 11:30 - 2:00 for lunch and they may not be able to serve lunch at 2:00. We had to do a lot of research ourselves about site-seeing, lunch stops, and directions to each point of interest along the way. Don't miss the Old City in Geneva, the Promenade du Lac with the famous Jet d'Eau (Jet of Water), the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, or Charlie Chaplin's estate in Vevey. The combination of the lake, vineyards, mountains, French-inspired cuisine and culture, and well-marked bike route make this tour a wonderful first tour in Switzerland.

Great Trip!
Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
Definitely recommend this trip. Scenery is stunning; hotels were great. Lakes provided a great way to cool off after each bike ride. Route is very easy to follow - very reliable signage for "Lakes Route #9" throughout the ride, so didn't have to rely on GPS much at all, which was nice - got to take in the views instead of constantly checking map to see if we were on track. I rode a normal bike, while my significant other rode a E-bike. Was perfect for both us based on our level of cycling. Lastly, hotels totally set up for e-bike charging + great breakfasts in the morning prior to each ride. Fun Times!

Exceeded All Expectations
Bike and Boat Croatia’s Dalmatia Coast
This bike-boat tour was exceptional in ALL aspects. The Romantica was well crewed...the chef prepared outstanding and delicious meals...our tour guides, Senad and Luka, were extremely knowledgeable, engaging, humorous, and all -around good guys who wanted us to have an unbelievable experience, which we did. For non-regular bike riders, the e-bikes were a Godsend. We had so many enrichment activities...bee keeper, wine tasting, chocolate tasting, tour of boat engine room, Croatian language and history lessons, kayaking, river rafting, organic farm lunch, special group Peka dinner, after ride swimming in the Adriatic...that were artfully and skillfully woven into the tapestry of our journey. Well done. We will definitely do this again! Thank you Jim of Biketours for making this happen.

Great way to explore a foreign country
Holland’s Super Tulip Tour
A really enjoyable way to discover a new country. We were fortunate to have a very helpful tour guide ,along with a first class chef providing excellent meals as well as very helpful barge staff. Our boat the Anna Anatel accomadated 17 guests and was an ideal group size for this type of activity.

Alsace Wine Country
