· · Tulip Tour - Bike & Boat Holland's Famous Tulip Fields
Beautiful countryside and quaint towns all along the way. Ride had good pacing. Our guides, Thomas and Alice, were superb. Staying on the Iris was a pleasure all the way. The accommodations were very comfortable, the crew was terrific, and the food was really fabulous. Would recommend this to my friends.

What a great way to visit four countries and bike through the lovely countryside. We chose to follow the map on the app ourselves and not have a guide which worked perfectly for us as it gave us more freedom to set our own schedule. We thoroughly enjoyed Leslie, our cruise director, who was full of energy and made each person feel special. The electric bikes were great quality and the crew did all the work moving them on and off the boat for our rides. This is a great introduction for us to the bike and boat world!

During our long-awaited 7 week European trip, our Bike/Barge adventure was the best part. The local NL based company that organized the tour is great. From the comfy accommodations, to the well planned biking, our week was filled with memorable adventures.
With warm and friendly fellow travelers and an outstanding skipper and crew, we enjoyed delicious meals, informative city walks, fun bike routes with some challenging weather and amazing sights on the land and water. Our biking guide led us with confidence and patience (despite widely varying experience/strength) and added important information on culture and history wherever we traveled.
The smaller size of the barge with only 9 guest rooms, made the entire experience that much more personal. This was also the most affordable week of our vacation! We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the Netherlands, Belgium and to the wonderful bike/barge experience. Outstanding; we can't wait to go again.

· · South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
Croatia has always had good reputation for an early and late season vacations. Our trip in mid-May was perfect, the Adriatic was warming up every day and the 75 degree weather was ideal. This affordable trip suppled us with comfortable rooms, a nice dining area and a shaded sunning area on top. The National Parks were beautiful and relatively uncrowded compared to the larger cities and the parks in the rest of Europe. We didn’t know anyone else on the tour when we arrived but soon found new friends for future travel experiences. Our guides were fun and helpful and e bikes made hilly sections much easier to navigate and quality of the bikes were first rate. We look forward to catching another tour on the Magellan or their sister boat in 23!

We greatly enjoyed this tour. It was our first time using e-bikes and that made the rides very enjoyable. The crew was very professional and prepared delicious meals also. Our guides, Mary Lou and Isabel did a wonderful job sharing history and guiding us through the five Islands we visited. They were a joy to spend time with and very professional as well. We enjoyed getting to know the other couples on board as we shared our meals and rides together. Although some high winds prevented us from going to all of the islands listed in the tour, I can highly recommend it just the same.

A great experience

Whether the bike rides or the river cruise and amenities, this tour is clearly put together thoughtfully for the client and to provide a nice balance of experiences. Also, the Vivienne was able to negotiate the Danube in low water levels that many other cruise ships could not. (We passed some that were moored and could not continue). Great crew and food. We also have e-bikes at home and the ones provided were comfortable and high-quality.

Our expectations were exceeded. We knew we would love to see the countryside this way, and indeed it was fabulous to see the more remote areas that most tourists never experience. And the staff blew us away. I felt so cared for. Every need was accommodated. The staff had such a positive attitude which is noteworthy for how hard they work. It made it a really special experience that we will cherish.

Great bike tour ! Well organized and our tour guides , Marin and Ivan , were excellent being very helpful and knowledgeable. The days were well planned and everything went on time . Accommodations on the boat were also excellent as well as the staff on the boat delivering an overall excellent experience . Beautiful way to experience Croatia !

· · German Wine Country along the Saar & Mosel Rivers
This was a week long immersion in German culture in the Mosel /Saar river valleys. The rides were slow, easy rides on the riverbanks on dedicated bike paths alongside steep, wine grape orchards. Every day we would pull into a tiny picturesque German village. The Zwaan was our home base boat and we grew to really love the little barge, the food served and the group of new friends we made. Amazing Dutch crew that went out of their way to make us all feel at home. The guide was funny, easy going and very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Bruges to Amsterdam aboard the Magnifque IV. The crew was amazing and very responsive and charming. The routes took us through incredible scenery and the tidbits shared by the guides kept us engaged. There wasn't a bad thing about the trip and we can't stop talking about it to our friends. Cycling along the coast and through the Dalmatian Islands was a great introduction to Croatia for us. April seemed like the perfect time of year for our cycling adventure ~ the weather was terrific and the crowds were minimal, although the swimming was cool! The boat was very comfortable, from our private room to the salon and upper deck. The bikes we used were in very good condition. The guides were very friendly, knowledgable and quick to attend to anyone's specific needs.
