Croatia Biking and boating
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
Croatia is beautiful and can be challenging for biking. Ebikes made this challenge achievable. Boat was beautiful and comfortable. Food was excellent. Crew and staff were just great - friendly and capable. Guides were energetic and very knowledgeable. Great way to see Croatia. Only complaint was be unable to use credit card for drinks on board. Made calculating cash (and then converting to euros) much harder. Can't see why they don't accept credit cards for that.

Wonderful Experience
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
My wife and I had a wonderful experience on this bike tour of Belgium and Netherlands. The barge itself was very nice, and the crew and guides were even better. Every night the chef exceeded our expectations with a great dinner. The best part were the friendships and fun we had with the other folks on the tour.

Very well organized and planned
Amsterdam – Gouda – Bruges by Bike and Boat
It was very well organized and people on the boat and in the group were really super nice. Each day was a feast at night, and a treat to the eyes when it comes to biking. We went through a lot of pretty open fields, historic sights and picturesque landscapes. It was like riding through a wallpaper. It was quite easy to finish it, given the flat terrain, and was not a really hard tour.

Tulip and Windmill Barge Tour
Holland’s Southern Relax Tulip Tour
This was my third bike trip with Bike Tours.Com., but my first guided tour. Sietse, was an excellent guide, who kept us on a schedule but allowed us time to see things, gave us adequate coffee and lunch breaks. He always told us much information about each place as well as a voluntary walk at night in each town that we docked at, one does not get that on an unguided tour. Our chef, Nicole, was excellent, who I appreciated being on a gluten-free diet. The meals were healthy as well as delicious. The biking trip had very good trails with lots of canals and wildlife as well as windmills and of course the beautiful tulips, tulips, and tulips!

Beyond high expectations !
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
We've taken several boat and bike trips as we LUV floating hotels and active vacations, usually on smaller boats than the Vivienne, my concerns for number of guests were not necessary. The flexibility of schedule, ability to do self guided bike routes, and fellow guests were quite fun. The cabin, typical of boats, small with very good storage for clothes and accessories and stashing away luggage. Wifi was good throughout the trip. The meals were great and plentiful. We signed up for every 'optional' excursion and had the best guided experiences learning more about each capital visited. The Danube and Central Europe are not to be missed, rich with history and quiet roads to explore on two wheels. The crew gets a 10+, informative, attentive and friendly. Even with a ride in the rain this trip was 'over the top' in my memory. Evening theme parties, costumes provided on board - not to be missed.

The perfect way to explore the Greek islands!
The instructor Alex was excellent with the great knowledge of e bikes and the routes troughs the amazing sceneries of the Greece islands.

Terrific Tulip Trip
Holland’s Super Tulip Tour
We had 15 cyclists, a crew of 4 and the best experience. While Holland is flat, making the actual cycling fairly easy, the number of cyclists on the road presented a learning curve for many of us. But our guide, Niels, taught us about the rules of the road and we all biked safely. While I signed up for this because I wanted to see the tulips, it was much more. Riding through nature reserves, having our picnic lunch at the beach on the North Sea and more. Our crew was fantastic - personable and efficient. The meals were delicious. We packed picnic lunches each morning, enabling a more relaxed and flexible lunch break. Our original route was changed in order to avoid Keukenhof Gardens on a Sunday. Any alterations to the route only improved the ride. It was a great group to ride with and a great overall experience.

A wonderful way to see the islands and small towns
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
Croatia has always had good reputation for an early and late season vacations. Our trip in mid-May was perfect, the Adriatic was warming up every day and the 75 degree weather was ideal. This affordable trip suppled us with comfortable rooms, a nice dining area and a shaded sunning area on top. The National Parks were beautiful and relatively uncrowded compared to the larger cities and the parks in the rest of Europe. We didn’t know anyone else on the tour when we arrived but soon found new friends for future travel experiences. Our guides were fun and helpful and e bikes made hilly sections much easier to navigate and quality of the bikes were first rate. We look forward to catching another tour on the Magellan or their sister boat in 23!

First trip to Greece
Enchanting Cyclades and Saronic Islands
We greatly enjoyed this tour. It was our first time using e-bikes and that made the rides very enjoyable. The crew was very professional and prepared delicious meals also. Our guides, Mary Lou and Isabel did a wonderful job sharing history and guiding us through the five Islands we visited. They were a joy to spend time with and very professional as well. We enjoyed getting to know the other couples on board as we shared our meals and rides together. Although some high winds prevented us from going to all of the islands listed in the tour, I can highly recommend it just the same.

Whether the bike rides or the river cruise and amenities, this tour is clearly put together thoughtfully for the client and to provide a nice balance of experiences. Also, the Vivienne was able to negotiate the Danube in low water levels that many other cruise ships could not. (We passed some that were moored and could not continue). Great crew and food. We also have e-bikes at home and the ones provided were comfortable and high-quality.

Best BIKE Trip of My Life
Bike and Boat Croatia’s Dalmatia Coast
We loved this trip. It was wonderful to be on the boat . The guides were the best-Luka and Mario are a perfect team. Lots of interesting things to do beyond biking Loved going to a different island each day. I would urge almost all future participants to rent the ebike. Croatia is extremely hilly and the ebikes made all the difference in the world. You’ll enjoy the trip more with one. Loved the rafting , kayaking , tastings and being able to swim off the boat. Don’t bother bringing snorkel or goggles. So glad it was a two week trip-it went too quickly! Thanks to all the people who worked so hard to make this happen!

Nice boat, although older. Very good meals. Great, helpful staff. Bikes we're good, all worked very well. Tour I'm Bratislava, Slovakia. We didn't research our day in Vienna very well, but we saw lots of stuff anyway. We will probably stay in touch with our dining table mates and do another trip

Great crew in North Holland on board Zwaan.
Amsterdam & The Sea by Bike and Boat
We had a great family vacation on board the Zwaan. The crew and our guide were marvellous and totally spoiled us. Dinner was a meal to look forward to with creative 3/4 course meals with a different country theme each night.
Wind was a bit of a problem and some cycling days were shortened due to strong head winds. Instead the captain cheerfully moved us ahead to less exposed trails. It was recommended that we use the services of a guide which turned out to be very good advice.- What was the date of your tour?
