An excellent way to explore the Istrian Peninsula
The Istrian Peninsula by Electric Bike
This is a fabulous way to explore the Istrian Peninsula, as you have the opportunity to see the coast and also explore inland. The boat is very comfortable and it is great to be able to get away from the crowds at the end of the day! The towns and villages that you get to explore are gorgeous and the coastline spectacular. Being able to swim off the back of the boat and cool off is an added bonus!

Nice way to experience Belgium and the Netherlands.
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Fluvius (and reverse)
Very good ride. So much to see along the way and relatively easy. Planning with biketours.com worked well and our back and forth communication during the planning process was as expected. Pre-travel materials were accurate, and we were well prepared upon arrival in Europe. In country, Boat Bike Tours did a nice job. The boat was clean and well-staffed with friendly people. The bikes worked well, however we were not able to bring our own pedals and saddles as we have been able to swap them out on previous rides with biketours.com. Apart from blowing out the bearings on a pedal, we had no issues with the bikes. We went self guided and the directions via the Ride with GPS app were spot on and accurate. Highlights, bathrooms, restaurants along the route were highlighted and worth the visit. We liked having options on some days as well with a couple choices on rides. Though I enjoy staying in the different small European cities along the way and having our luggage transported on previous rides, the boat worked well, especially for those that wanted to take a day off due to rain or winds. For the most part, the boat parked in excellent locations making it easy to explore on your own. There was no curfew on the boat, so you could come and go as you please for the most part. Part of the trip is not riding, but on the boat. This is primarily through industrial areas, which was interesting because we traveled through multiple locks. We traveled with two vegans, and were told during planning process that they could not accommodate these diets, but the staff were eventually able to make vegan meals for the two which was not expected, but welcome none the less (thank you Firas on board the Fluvius!). Note that helmets were included on the boat free of charge, so don't pay the 10 Euro to rent one.

Fantastic trip!

The crew, barge and guides were all top notch and the food was really good. Beautiful bike routes took us through lovely local scenery! Enjoyed walking tours in Antwerp and Bruges. Guides were super flexible and offered different options on a day with bad weather. Highly recommend!

Fabulous and exceeded expectations
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
From the moment we arrived on board I felt welcomed. The entire staff went out of their way to answer questions, offer help and with a smile. The captain took his job very serious, but also had a sense of humor. Our director, Leslie, kept us laughing as he presented valuable information on the boat, bike routes, city tours, etc. The actives on board like 70 & 80's music night and karaoke night were so much fun. I have not danced and laughed so much in years. I will be going again and have already told many friends they need to book this trip!

Experiencing the beautiful Greek Islands by boat and bike with a fabulous group of people on a wonderful boat with food that was delicious - what a trip! Words I'd use to express the crew include loving, caring, fun, always giving their best, working around the clock, AMAZING. The chef and food were extraordinary, every meal was a delight. The Captain carefully arranged destinations to offer us the best possible experiences. The guides were safety conscious and just fabulous. We were cared for in a way that is hard to describe. I would happily travel with this group and specifically with these people anytime, anywhere.

Amazing trip… So many small towns and villages that were cute. All parts of the trip were memorable. From the start to the finish.
A perfect experience - great staff - very flexible - excellent meals.The barge and room was very comfortable. Our guides were helpful and fun! They even offered walking tours thru some of the towns.
The Dutch are very warm and kind people!!

History, Art and Backroads
Bruges to Paris by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
Wonderful, dedicated owners and crew, food was amazing and our guide adjusted our tour to the group members interests and cycling abilities. The small group (max 12) made for a supportive, friendly group and allowed for stops in small cafes and sites. I loved historic Bruges, Oedenaarde, Compiegne, the villages, old churches filled with art, wine, Trappist beers, cheese shops, pattiseries, back roads and bike paths, and visiting a cobblestone hill section of the Paris-Roubiex. Great way to see Europe!

Wow! - what a fantastic experience gliding down the stunning Danube. Dutch Hanseatic Cities, Harbor Towns & Natural Wonders by Bike and Boat
The Best Way to Experience Dutch Culture in the Netherlands is soaking up all the culture and vast landscapes by bike. The towns were beautiful and the routes did not have much traffic. The majority of this tour is flat and takes place on quite bike routes which are very scenic and calm. The guides were more than helpful, patient and knowledgeable assuring everyone in the group was safe and offered knowledge about the areas (thanks Hans!). The accommodations aboard the Maginifique II were more than I expected, very comfortable and clean. The crew was fantastic and so much fun! Our meals were superb as the chef was amazing. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore Holland. Thank you Biketours.com, great job!

Richie from BikeTours.com and the boat staff were just great - helpful, organized, and fun!
The boat is older but being retired. Having said that, other than rough towels that needed replacing, and controlling the temperature in our cabin, the dining, lounge, lido deck, and entertainment were perfect. It's a laid back experience compared to the large ocean cruise ships which created a very 'family-oriented' feel. The scenery, historical sites, and biking in mainly Austria was just great - Austria is very well set-up for biking usually out of any car traffic. The Bruges to Amsterdam went far beyond our expectations in every way!! Our boat was attractive and comfortable, rooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable and updated with all we needed, our meals were fabulous, the ship crew was warm and responsive and the guides were terrific. I was especially surprised by all the “extras”, the unexpected city tours or optional activities at the end of the day. The biking staff we very helpful and knowledgeable. King and welcoming, understanding of all levels and the territory. The daily rides by digital “ride with gps” was pretty much flawless, and the app staff very fast and helpful when a problem arose.
The boat staff very warm and helpful. The cleaning staff timely and great for cabin cleaning. The chef; warm, funny and talented. Food delicious.

Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
We were very happily rewarded with our choice of boat , direction, and timing for this bike & barge trip across Italy. This was our 4th bike and boat trip and the best! Each of the crew from tour leaders to cooks and boat captain and technician—each fantastic—warm, helpful, supportive, and with good humor. The mix of riders—kismet and wonderful. While we did encounter a few rainy days spirits stayed high and gregarious. And it was far better fir us than extreme hot temperatures of earlier in the year options. The food deserves an award for creativity and top notch flavour, presentation, creativity, and variety. The boat accommodation was very comfortable and in excellent condition. Common space was ample and comfortable. Our biking leaders were fantastic pros—always supportive, knowledgable, and perfect in their guidance of riders. Stefania and Francesco—totally delightful.
