Good Value
Vienna to Budapest 5-nights (Active)
A friend was supposed to join me on this bike tour but she had to bail and I ended up riding Solo which was kind of lonely. That said that route was excellent and pretty easy to follow. The TO's team was very responsive to my questions and concerns and it went a long way in making me confident on my solo ride. My only complaint was the e-bike. It was much heavier than what I'm used to riding which meant I needed to use more assistance. This gave me battery anxiety. The saddle/seat was very rigid and even with padded bike shorts I was very sore at the end of each day. I say this as a long distance endurance cyclist so I am used to being on a saddle for hours and hours. I usually don't get saddle sore. I got sick at the midpoint on the last day and TO help me figure out what to do with the bike and how to get to my final hotel. I appreciate their efforts.

Loire a Velo: Orleans to the Atlantic
The trip was memorable!!! The 4-star hotels were well-located and offered excellent service. The distances covered were appropriate, leaving plenty of free time to enjoy the destination upon arrival. The electric bikes worked perfectly. Kate's attention and advice before and during the trip, as well as that of the local provider, were invaluable. We will definitely book with Biketours again.

Beautiful destinations and scenic travel
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Our first bike and boat trip but won't be our last. What a great way to experience both the typical travel destinations and some of the beautiful countryside and small villages in between them. The crew and cruise director were so friendly and welcoming. We had very comfortable accommodations and got to meet so many other like-minded travelers.

Easy and scenic
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
gREAT trip, excellent accommodation but to improve accommodation we would recommend having tea/coffee making facilities in every room and preferably a small fridge that guests can keep cool drinks in. Especially important at end of a day if guests arrive hot, tired or thirsty

Beautiful & Historically Rich
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
Our self guided cycle trip from Vienna to Budapest was extraordinary. The navigation guide worked really well for the daily cycles and the pacing of our days was great, other than we would have opted to stay in some of the cities like Gyor and Budapest for an extra day to do some history tours. Great hotels, planning and support otherwise.

Very enjoyable
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Great way to explore without having to unpack and pack each day. Crew is wonderful. Cruise director did an excellent job keeping the guests informed and entertained. Biking route was explained well. Aside from a couple of days of windy weather which seemed to double the length of the ride it was a good time and hope to try out other areas in the future.

Excellent trip
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
This was our first experience with cycling and cruising. It could not have been any better. Everything was perfect. The travel arrangements, the hotels before and after the cruise and the cruise itself were perfect.
The Passauer Wolf hotel in Passau, Germany was in a perfect location, excellent staff, (Fredericka) and very modern and comfortable in an historic building. The transportation from Munich to Passau prior to the cruise and after the cruise was on time and professional. The cruise on Vivienne beyond our expectations. Everything was done professionally with friendliness and courtesy. The ship itself was very comfortable, our cabin was well appointed and the service was amazing (Ramona). The food was abundant and of wide variety. Every meal was a delight and delicious. The wait staff was superb and learned each of our tastes (Muhammad).
The cycling was well planned and thought out. The cycling sections were appropriate for inexperienced riders, but still interesting and enjoyable for seasoned riders. The cruise director, Leslie, was a superstar. He marked each cycling course so well the riding app was not needed. Leslie also provided informative and very useful briefings prior to each ride and each port visit that were interesting and entertaining. He also dealt with problems that arose with quiet, calm efficiency. He is a real treasure.
The tour guides in Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest were all superb.
In short. I would highly recommend this tour on Vivienne.

Good trip, bad weather
Loire a Velo: Orleans to the Atlantic
Very good ride with good roads and little car traffic. Beautiful chateaus and scenery. We were plagued by poor weather and too much riding in the rain

Danube self guided
Danube Bike Path 7 Nights (Classic)
This was a great trip. Great bikes. Great ride. Loved the hotels and little towns.
My only complaint was the tour rep that met us didn’t seem to have any time, he let us know he had to meet some people at another hotel. Did not help adjust bikes, poor briefing and left after giving us the basics on the bikes. .Other tour reps spent time and sat down with client's at the same hotel for quite some time. -

Everything i wanted and more.! I am very very pleased with the experience.
Burgundy Wine Trails: Beaune to Macon on the “Voie Verte”
My tour was something I will remember forever. The bike was well equipped for the tour. The phone holder worked very well and the app was easy to use. My favourite part of the tour quickly became the first 20 min of the day after leaving the hotel and having a beautiful morning ride of out the towns into the country side. The scenery was so so lush and green. Birds singing, flowers blooming everywhere. We took a long slow lunch in the many beautiful towns and had a wonderful experience. Will be taking about this trip to everyone!

Danube Cycle Path Passau – Budapest
Personally I rarely do reviews. This one is one where I couldn’t wait for an opportunity to thank this group for providing myself and my wingman with the best ride of my life. I’ve done a lot of touring. Distance wise this is shorter than most I have done however the tour itinerary provided me with more great memories and fun riding days than any other. To sum it up my expectations were completely exceeded at every level.

It was epic!
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
What a wonderful way to see Austria! We thoroughly enjoyed the changing vistas, the quiet villages, the charming cafes and restaurants, and the upscale lodging!
The bikes provided were of high quality and the navigation was clear.
I had chosen a standard bike as I was informed that the tour was mostly flat or downhill. However, I found terrain ti be up and down, some days with an elevation of 600m. This should be mentioned in the tour description.
Overall it was a great experience and we highly recommend this way of exploring Europe! -

Fabulous trip, great for a group
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
What a great way to see so many little towns that likely people would not visit unless they were doing this trip. We loved very little town for a different reason and in its own way! We had some rough weather one day but we sorted that out. We had a group of 8 and this trip is very good for a larger group like that!
I would like to have known more about what was provided before we arrived. We were told there were no bottle cages, but our bike had them. i didnt bring a bottle because i thought we would not have them. Also, we did NOT have large packs on the bike, which we were told we WOULD have. So my packing was just the opposite of what I would have packed had i known the actual equipment. But we sorted it out after the first day and got on with it! Loved the vest we got for the tour, it served me very well. i used it every day. We rented the gravel bikes, well worth the money if you are an avid cyclist. They were great bikes!!- What was the date of your tour?

Great bike tour !
Burgundy Wine Trails: Beaune to Macon on the “Voie Verte”
Excellent way to experience France ! Charming hotels, friendly locals all saying "Bonjour!", amazing cycling network, we were self-guided, but were provided with a great cycling app which told us when we were off course. Some suggestions: I wish we were told that leaving Chassey Le Camp was not the same way as our arrival...as the mountain climb was painful and we did not have an e-bike; the Fleur De Sel restaurant was not very friendly, maybe someone should check if they want to be mentioned in a booklet for cyclists; and when we arrived at noon to a couple of restaurants in Cormatin, they said they were full inside and outside despite having empty seats, we think it was because we were dirty biking through the rain, so you should warn other cyclists.

Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
The hotel was fantastic - the super friendly staff, the amenities, the food was amazing.
The bike centre is next door to the hotel, was so easy to pick up and return. Good quality bikes. The information (printed and in the app) was excellent. The transfers on the days that had transfers were well organised. Genuinely don’t see what could have been improved.- What was the date of your tour?
