The perfect way to explore the Greek islands!
The instructor Alex was excellent with the great knowledge of e bikes and the routes troughs the amazing sceneries of the Greece islands.
The boutique boat “Running on waves” is unique and luxurious with amazing services. Food was “five stars” quality. Amazing experience overall. I would definitely do it again!- Countries included in this tour?

Fantastic Trip

I have been on several bike and boat tours. This past week on the ship Running on Waves was certainly a cut above. The ship was immaculate, staff was over the top helpful and catered to everything we could possibly need. Our bike guide Alex was excellent and our rides beautiful, challenging and interesting. 5 + stars.

Amazing experience!

What an incredible trip! The team on board was fantastic — always thinking ahead and making everything smooth. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the cabins were super comfy and spotless.
We cycled 20–60 km a day, exploring stunning views of Greece — olive groves, crystal-clear sea, quiet roads, and amazing beaches you couldn’t reach on foot. Morning yoga helped stretch our muscles and get ready for the day.
The food was incredible — never the same twice, with choices between fish and meat, plus fresh berries, fruits, and treats. Highlights included lamb and langoustines. October was perfect — great weather, gorgeous nature, and peaceful towns. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves cycling, nature, and the sea!

Our expectations were exceeded. We knew we would love to see the countryside this way, and indeed it was fabulous to see the more remote areas that most tourists never experience. And the staff blew us away. I felt so cared for. Every need was accommodated. The staff had such a positive attitude which is noteworthy for how hard they work. It made it a really special experience that we will cherish.

The Boat & Biking along the Dalmatia coast and islands was wonderful. As it was October, the weather was perfect, sunny, warm but not hot with chilly mornings but we warmed up quickly once on the bikes. No rain, lucky us. The views are dramatic and various towns the boat stopped at charming. This was our second boat and bike trip in Croatia. Can't say enough goods things about the country except "Go and experience it!" Our boat was comfortable, food delicious, crew very pleasant and helpful, e-bikes worked well and last but not least the two guides were absolutely fabulous. A great trip.

Greek island adventure

Boat was great! Crew and staff were amazing especially Lina our cruise director and Alex our bike guide.
The food was good and healthy but all meals were served buffet style which was a disappointment considering the pictures on the website and the fact that we were on a luxury boat.
The company needs to do more work to organize itself for bike tours. The trips were not well planned out in advance, there were a few minor breakdowns, only one guide, there were not enough paniers for all the riders and there was a daily expectation for us to return to the boat for lunch each day. This is difficult when rides start mid-day. The staff were very good at revising tours on the spot based on comments of participants and providing us with sandwiches some days.
Also not ideal was the fact that there were office staff and owner family and friends who did not mix with the paying passengers, even when we tried to engage with them. They were not cyclists and spent their days in the ports sightseeing and had 2 tables exclusively reserved for each meal on the boat. When one of our American friends tried to sit at their table the person said “no Americans”. This was very rude and disconcerting. It made the experience on the boat a little weird.
We were supposed to go through Corinth, but the canal was closed just before our trip so this was disappointing, but not the fault of the company. The boat had to travel much farther than originally planned and travelled often overnight.
All in all it was not quite what we were expecting, but we loved the boat, we had excellent service and we made lasting friendships with other participants.- What was the date of your tour?

What a wonderful way to see this part of Croatia!
It was a unique experience for us. I liked the combination of an active component to the holiday and cultural experience. Living aboard a mechanized sailboat while exploring some of the Dalmation islands was a great way to combine sightseeing with accommodation. The bike and tour guides, as well as boat crew were wonderful and did all they could to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour.- What was the date of your tour?

· · Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
We took this adventure Mantova to Venice and we are glad we did. Mantova is lovely and has a very long bike trail that comes from much farther to the North and West. Our biking around the lakes and along the Po and Adige rivers basins was very pleasant and comfortable on dedicated bike trails with very little elevation gain, mostly on bridges or overpasses for short distances. This is our kind of trip, nature, no stress, stops in interesting places. The guides were fantastic: thanks Francesco and Stefanya! The boat was very well cared for and comfortable and the dinners were rave worthy. The only thing I'd change--skip the rain which we had for 3 of our bike days.
