Perfect tour of Catalonia!
Great Pyrenees and Costa Brava E-Bike Tour
From our welcome and thorough briefing in Girona, to the comfortable and capable bikes, the stunning views, memorable accommodations, delectable food and wine, history and wonder of the region, I highly recommend this trip! The tour winds all across Catalonia and offers many miles on trials and nearly car-free roads. The drivers in Catalonia were extremely courteous and always provided plenty of room when passing. We found the directions, information, and navigation app to be easy to use (make sure you bring a portable charger for your phone). The tour operators provide suggestions to customize your itinerary for each day dependent on distance and interest. The e-bikes are a great match for this enticing and challenging route! We traveled in April and found the weather to be quite lovely. Catalonia is windy so be sure to bring the appropriate gear. Yet another reason to love the e-bikes! We opted for the premium hotel and added on a few of the additional tours/meals offered through the tour operator. Happy with all of it!

Great trip to end the year
Great Pyrenees and Costa Brava E-Bike Tour
This was my first trip to Spain but my second BikeTours trip of the year. We were incredibly blessed to have good sunny weather for 95% of the trip! The bike company we worked with were very kind and helpful. I needed a replacement bike after day 2 and they quickly delivered a new one for me! The routes and maps were well planned out and gave us the opportunity to see a lot of varied terrain and some really cool little villages. It was nice to not have too much 'in town' cycling and we saw a lot of beautiful scenery along the way. My favorite was the stretch from Figueres to Lot, it was stunning. Looking forward to booking another trip in the Spring. The communication with Bike Tours is always fast and efficient and I appreciate their help each step of the way!

Bilbao Central E-Bike Tour
I ended up being on a solo tour, which was a real treat. My guide Willie was friendly and knowledgeable. He grew up in Bilbao and saw a lot of the changes of the last few decades. Was interesting hearing his childhood remembrances and enjoying his clear love of the town. I just wish I had managed to do this as my first activity in Bilbao!

A lovely way to see Bilbao along the river
Bilbao Underground Culture Private E-Bike Tour
It’s a great way to spend an afternoon in Bilbao. Our tour was on Sunday morning so the traffic was light. One of our cyclists fell off the bike but we were passing the bike shop on a loop of the river so they replaced the bike immediately and offered plasters and bandages. Our guide was very nice and showed us plenty of interesting street art en route. The tour was three hours long so you would need a moderate level of fitness. Good value and fun!

Bilbao Gold Coast E-Bike Tour
Bikes were great, guide was excellent. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Bilbao and discussed many interesting topics with our group of four. Hearing what our guide was saying was sometimes a challenge but it is hard to bunch together on a sunny Sunday in September - people and other riders are out and about too.

We loved the rides, and places to stay on this trip. Daniel did an excellent job prepping us and providing us with a gps and a smartphone with a map that made this the easiest self guided tour we have done. The hotels we stayed at and the towns were beautiful. Do not pass up eating at Hotel Arcs in Monells. Best meal of trip and we had a lot of great meals.

First and best e-bike tour!!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
Fabulous way to take in the sights, sounds and smells of this beautiful area at our own pace on the self-guided tour. The information we were provided with prior to setting out - plus the GPS navigation tool - made us feel very comfortable and in control of our time each day. Daniel, our host, provided outstanding service - starting with an excellent briefing in Girona at the beginning of the tour - and everything he promised was delivered on or exceeded. The distances each day on the e-bikes were very achievable for anyone with a moderate level of fitness. The luggage transfers were seamless. The accommodation was excellent each night! Not five star - but beautiful locations and very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the tour.

Such a great trip!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
We were hesitant to take a non-guided tour at first, but it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The roots were interesting and the directions were great, and we got to take all of the roots on our own time and our own schedule. The hotels were wonderful, and the routes through the different seaside towns and medieval villages were fantastic! Daniel was communicative, responsive, and really helpful. Could not have been a happier with our trip!

The rides each day were moderate as described. On the first 3 days , you ride alongside beach views. After that, you do some countryside rides. On every ride and evening there were a bunch of outside cafes to choose from. It was an excellent mix of scenery. Thanks.

Very good tour
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
The tour was great, Daniel was extremely helpful, and the accommodation was very good. However, the tour should not be rated as easy. The first two days were easy, and it was no problem using a normal bike. However, for the next four days we should have rented electric bikes - it would have made the trip much more enjoyable. It was obvious the seventh day was over the mountains and would be difficult, but did not ever plan to cycle that day, as we only had six days available.

Beautiful Villages and Stunning Sea!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
I recently did the self-guided trip as a mom and son getaway with my 14-year old. We did this on e-bikes. Daniel was kind and thoughtful and checked in on us along the way via text. He was on time for bike delivery and super organized, setting us up for success. The hotels selected were great even though we booked last minute. Each of our rooms along the mediterranean had views of the Sea which was stunning and exceeded our expectations. My son managed the GPS and all of the navigating and we had an easy time of this. The route itself was wonderful! A great mix of medieval and coast and I wonder if the tour title should give more emphasis to the time spent along the coast, which was absolutely beautiful! I was sad to leave Llafranc and put the sea behind us, but this was quickly replaced with fascination at the beauty of the small villages. Overall, this was a wonderful adventure. The weather was superb and the towns were not crowded with tourists (late June). I do recommend the e-bikes if you have varying levels of experience and want to stray off the tour routes at all to bike uphill to other towns not on the tour route. We had more than enough time and energy to add things like this because of the benefit of the pedal-assist.
