Excellent format - Barge Bike tour
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Very enjoyable tour. Excellent crew. Excellent food. Excellent company. It is a good mixture of bike & barge travel. The cycling is gentle and Holland is flat. It is good to have a guide as it is impossible to get lost. Cycle routes in Belgium & Holland are very well organised, safe with minimum traffic and great scenery. Would recommend it. Note cabins are small.

Terrific introduction to bike touring
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
From the first moment to the last we had a great time. Thirteen riders and a great guide made for a splendid week touring the countryside between Brugge and Amsterdam. The pace was perfect with plenty of stops for food and drink. Our boat was nicely appointed and the on board chef made a different gourmet meal every night. We recommend a guided tour though we haven't tried a self guided tour yet.

Great bike and boating trip!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Our guide Seitse was terrific - very knowledgeable about the areas and routes. The crew on board Sailing Home made us feel very welcome and the food was excellent. The riding was quite pleasant (very flat almost everywhere) such that we rarely turned on our ebikes. Overall, it was a great way to see parts of Belgium and the Netherlands.

Bike & Barge Tour
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
My husband and I both had a great time on our tour. We biked from Brugge to Amsterdam. Our guide was knowledgeable, the food was fabulous and we enjoyed getting to know the other bikers as we traveled through beautiful country. We highly recommend.

I loved seeing Belgium and Netherlands by the calm pace of the bike and barge. It was exciting to see and experience the cities, small towns and villages, countryside, canals, forests, and farms & communities where people lived. The barge was comfortable, staff was great and the food on the barge was fabulous. I would definitely consider another trip by bike and barge.

Amazing way to travel!

Can’t wait to go on another trip! The barge was comfortable, food tasty, guide and staff wonderful and I really enjoyed the whole itinerary. The fortified cities shaped like stars were so unique and I enjoyed sailing on the boat, enjoying a happy hour glass on the deck after a long day biking.

Being our first bike tour, we didn't know what to expect going into the tour, but we had a great time. The whole team was amazing from the first day to the last day. Having dietary restrictions, they were more than accommodating and didn't make it seem like a burden. All the stops along the way were great and our guide was so knowledgeable. Can't wait to do another one!

Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
This was our first bike tour, and we did not know what to expect. It was better than what we hoped it would be and I would recommend this trip to everyone! Our bike guide, Andri was amazing! He always made sure everyone was together, comfortable with the route and their bike. He was great at explaining where we were going, what to expect and set a perfect pace for the electric bikers and pedal bikers. The sites on the ride were beautiful! It was a great route and we saw many different views along the way from windmills, to fields, a cheese farm and beautiful quaint towns. Our cook on the barge, Amil did an amazing job! Our food was perfect. Breakfast was always tasty and after breakfast we packed a quick sandwich and fruit for lunch. Exactly what we needed midway through our ride. Dinners were absolutely delicious. We had a wide variety of food and it was always fresh, accompanied with an appetizer to start and dessert at the end. he spoiled us! Craig was the assistant chef and assistant for everything! He too, always made sure everything was running smoothly and made sure everyone had what they needed. Our captain, Coen, got us through the canals and locks and to our destinations safely. He even did a city tour with us one night and did an amazing job. The crew all seemed to love their jobs. They were all happy and friendly, and truly made our trip amazing! If we could’ve, we would’ve booked another trip on our last day. We’ll definitely be back!!! Thanks for an amazing experience in Europe!

Like being at camp

This trip was so fun! Meeting new people, being active during the day, and eating three meals together was like being in an adult summer camp. The staff was incredibly responsive to our needs - from the guide, to the captain and crew, and chef on board. The meals were incredible - and some of the best food I have ever had. It was a great way to be introduced to biking - amazing!

The routes took us through incredible scenery and the tidbits shared by the guides kept us engaged. There wasn't a bad thing about the trip and we can't stop talking about it to our friends. Great food, great new friends, beautiful countryside. Memet and Tom were funny, caring, and knowledgeable guides. The whole boat crew was very attentive and friendly. The chef did a fire dance one night, in addition to preparing excellent food. We definitely are planning for more bike and boat trips, based on this wonderful first experience.

Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Fluvius (and reverse)
I organized a trip for 24 of us from Michigan on the Amsterdam - Bruges May 4- 11, 2019. The trip was fantastic. We had a few rough days of weather yet were positive and biked anyways. Nice accommodations, staff was very friendly and accommodating to dietary needs ( one vegetarian and the lactose free). Bar prices were reasonably. The tour guides were informative and nice that they did a few evening tours. You could bike on your own and I did this several days. The maps were clear. The extra side trips were nice, strawberry fields, bike museum, sandstone shop etc... There was flexibility for those that didn't want to ride on the rainy, cold morning. I will be doing another tour in the future.

The biking staff we very helpful and knowledgeable. King and welcoming, understanding of all levels and the territory. The daily rides by digital “ride with gps” was pretty much flawless, and the app staff very fast and helpful when a problem arose.
The boat staff very warm and helpful. The cleaning staff timely and great for cabin cleaning. The chef; warm, funny and talented. Food delicious. -

Such a great way to experience a country whilst keeping active. You see a side to the country you wouldn’t otherwise. Such a great way to meet others . The staff were exceptional and good was great .
