Great way to see Belgium and The Netherlands! Such beautiful scenery along the bike routes. Riding was mainly on a path. Tour guides were wonderful ensuring everyone’s safety and giving us history of the area along the route.

C’est un voyage extraordinaire. Incroyable je le recommande fortement à tout le monde qui a envie de s’amuser de se reposer tout en faisant du sport . on faisait en moyenne 58 km par jour parfois moins. Nous avions des arrêts tr’es intéressants. On avait le choix de faire des court ou long parcours . Je ne suis pas la personne très en forme mais avec un E-bike j’ai pu suivre mon mari et tous les autres sans problème. Cherche la batterie le soir et en cas de besoin durant le trajet, il y a toujours des batteries de recharge que les accompagnateurs ont avec eux. En plus on visite des endroits magnifiques. Cela a été une merveilleuse expérience et sincèrement, les employés sur le bateau ont été merveilleux . Tous étaient souriants et aimables. Le capitaine nous a invité à aller faire un tour dans la cabine de navigation très impressionnant. Il était vraiment gentil.

The crew, barge and guides were all top notch and the food was really good. Beautiful bike routes took us through lovely local scenery! Enjoyed walking tours in Antwerp and Bruges. Guides were super flexible and offered different options on a day with bad weather. Highly recommend!

Great Trip In Every Way
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique III (and reverse)
We had a great time biking from Amsterdam to Bruges. For those concerned about biking so much, this is a very flat ride; easy on a road bike in my estimation, though many had E Bikes. The Magnifique III was beautiful, comfortable, and offered a great team of guides and hospitality professionals who took great care of us. A few of the days of the tour were not as exciting of a ride as far as what you see, but most days were beautiful, varied and offered unique experiences such as a bike museum where we got to ride some crazy bikes, a canal tour in Ghent, a city tour in Antwerp, a visit to an incredible workshop of a local craftsman. It rained a few days but we were prepared and it didn't bother us. So much fun. Get out there and enjoy an active vacation on a bike; you will not be sorry!

Unique Vacation Experience

We had a great time on our first Boat Bike Tour and enjoyed the new traveling experience. I've never been on a cruise and was slightly intimidated by the prospect, but the small boat/barge and biking all day was a great way to see from a new perspective. I enjoyed the guided biking all day and the food on the boat was exceptional. The whole crew was great and it was fun being with folks from all over the world. Definitely considering another tour in the future! We had to postpone twice with the pandemic and were thankful to be able to go and feel safe a couple of years later. Thank you!

Our first trip to Belgium, Holland and the city of Amsterdam. What an amazing way to travel. Each day was filled so many local and historical sites and information through our lovely tour guides. It was structured and accommodating for all abilities of riders. The boat was immaculate and the staff worked hard to greet us in the morning and back after our daily rides.

Terrific guides and a perfect mix of time in rural and urban areas. Enjoyed the beauty of the countryside plus some of the great cities of Europe. Surprised that so many in the group were using e-bikes. The frequency of rest stops was perfect. Food on the boat was excellent.

We had a wonderful trip with an amazing crew who worked in unison to make all the guests feel welcome. The tour leaders, Tammy and Peter, were fantastic and had intimate knowledge of the communities and sights along the bike routes. Their personal connections provided unique experiences that would otherwise have been missed. They were patient and personable even after their very long days!

Our guides Corrie and Hetty were knowledgeable and friendly, the crew of Chris , Alexis, Hella, and Ingaborg were helpful and gave great service, and the meals from chef Michel were outstanding. We will definitely do another trip with this company. Flat terrain and e-bikes or comfortable hybrids allowed people of all cycling levels to enjoy trip, and the small size allowed all of us to make new friends!

Fantastic Bike/Barge Trip
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
This Brugge to Amsterdam bike and barge trip exceeded our expectations in many ways. The barge was deluxe, clean and comfortable and the food was good. We had an upper level stateroom and think it was worth the cost.
The biking was easy although there were very strong winds a few times. We tried e bikes. About half the riders used them. This was our first experience with e bikes but at age 66 I will rent one again although we are long time , long distance cyclists.
We did expect more independent cycling and some cycling instruction for new riders riding in a large group. However, the route was tricky with so many paths to take so we stayed in the group. The small towns and scenery were a wonderful experience. The guides and boat crew were very knowledgeable and personable.
We will look for a similar experience in the future.

My husband and I loved every minute of it! Fantastic crew, who looked after every single thing on our bike and barge tour.
Love cycling every day through beautiful historic areas and quiet countryside. Couldn’t get over the green lush areas, and always fun to cycle by the many canals!
The barge was spacious and had many very nice outdoor areas to lounge and relax.
Very talented and hard-working guides, hostesses, chef and captain!
Can’t wait to book our next tour!

Amazing Adventure!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
What a great biking experience, from the moment we were welcomed onboard. We were always greeted with a smile, and were well informed about next steps: the staff team were awesome! Because the tourist group is small, there was time to find friendship with like minded people from around the world.
The barge is beautiful, and the cabins very efficient. We enjoyed gourmet meals daily, and my food allergies were never a problem thanks to the very creative and talented Chef Jules.
I had never experienced ‘rush hour’ on bicycles, and was in awe that bicycles often get the right of way: so different in Canada! The busy cities gave way to daily rides through true countryside farms and water systems, with interesting stops. A great combination of riding.

Wonderful Bike and Barge Experience!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
I participated in the Bruge to Amsterdam Bike and Barge Tour and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The ship was lovely and I was impressed by the room and the lovely ensuite bathroom. The bikes were great and when I asked if it would be possible to switch to an electric bike - there was no problem. The guides - Anna and Hairy were knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The staff on board the ship were polite, professional, and always willing to help in any way. The chef was extraordinary - lovely dinners each night beautifully presented. I loved the flavoured water and snacks available at the end of each ride. The stops we made along the way were interesting and often historic. I really appreciated the stop at the graveyard where so many young Canadian soldiers were buried - it was very touching. The stop at the dairy farm where they make Gouda was amazing. I think we were exposed to a great deal of the countryside and culture of the countries we visited. A thoroughly satisfying and wonderful trip.

Springtime in Belgium and the Netherlands is a perfect time to ride through the countryside. Flowers and trees are a blooming! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Customer service all around from tour guides to boat staff were top notch. We did not lack for anything. The bikes were comfortable. We rented an ebike and it was super easy to use. There were a few times I forgot to turn it on. They’re not a heavy bike, so easy to forget with such flat terrain.
