One highlight was the evening tour in Deventer, where we strolled through charming streets and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. The crew was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my dietary needs. The cycling routes were well-planned, accommodating all skill levels, and the views were stunning. Overall, this tour is a fantastic mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to have an amazing time exploring the Netherlands!

Amazing trip… So many small towns and villages that were cute. All parts of the trip were memorable. From the start to the finish.
A perfect experience - great staff - very flexible - excellent meals.The barge and room was very comfortable. Our guides were helpful and fun! They even offered walking tours thru some of the towns.
The Dutch are very warm and kind people!!

Leafde fan Fryslân is a stunning ship!
Netherlands Bike & Sail Adventure: Wadden Sea and IJsselmeer
I can't fully speak for the cycling part of this tour - though have personally biked all over Holland many times - but was on this ship for a private dinner event earlier this fall. It's truly a stunning boat (they recently expanded and refurbished it) and I'm 100% certain it will provide for an amazing holiday experience in and around an area that is also UNESCO World Heritage site.

From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we had chosen the right trip. The ship was comfortable and welcoming, and the cabins were surprisingly spacious and well designed. Can’t recommend this ship and route enough! The food was outstanding every day, and the support van available along the route was a thoughtful touch that gave us extra peace of mind. Brand new Magnifique!
Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam: Premium Bike and Boat
First, if any of you have done a boat bike tour on a Magnifique, this one is next level. (My wife and I have done several on the other Magnifique boats) The ship was only completed in April and they have outdone themselves this time. The food, the rooms, the open air bar, roof deck (lighting at night is amazing) plus if you book a suite it opens to the water. A support van meets you midday for snacks or lunch; staff was amazing, could not recommend this tour enough. Also, if you get to Bruges climb the Belfry tower (book ahead)...it's worth it. Same goes for checking out the train station in Antwerp. It is a cathedral of transportation and I've personally seen quite a few train stations in Europe.

Absolutely Awesome
Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam: Premium Bike and Boat
Our first boat and bike trip and it did not disappoint! Perfect for couples or a small group of friends, this was a luxury trip, outstanding food and accommodation and wonderful guides. This boat has 16 cabins (32 passengers max), they will split the group into 2 for an easier bike touring experience. Nothing was difficult, pace was around 17 km/ph, a little slow if you are a regular cyclist, but if your partner isn't, then it's perfect.

Couldn’t have been better!
Amsterdam to Bruges: Cycling through South Holland and Zeeland
We did a self-guided tour with a 2-hour “tutorial” from Peter of Tulip Tours before we started out. He made sure we were fit properly to our bikes and understood everything about the navigation system so our ride was seamless! We planned an extra night in a couple of cities so we could enjoy more of the local activities and food (!) and decided to do more of that on our next tour. All the hotels were located convenient to town centers except the water hotel in Dordrecht, which was uniquely wonderful. Thank you to Tulip Tours for a wonderful biking experience in Holland and Belgium!!

Water, windmills and tall skinny houses

Loved everything about this trip. The route took us through beautiful areas, all avoiding cars and large roads. Accommodations were excellent and the choice of towns and small cities for overnight stays were charming and worth our while. Distinctive too. Bikes were incredible! Was so enjoyable biking through the green landscapes and farmlands! The GPS bike routing worked great. We felt safe and comfortable on the paved bike trails. All hotels were just fine; we particularly enjoyed our houseboat accommodations. Three cheers for Tulip Tours excellently planned trip!

Beautiful & flat ride across the Netherlands

The scenery was spectacular, as was immersion into the historic towns and restaurants. The local tour company was particularly wonderful, reimbursing us no questions asked for the cost of repairing a worn out tire. I HIGHLY recommend downloading the optional GPX file to your phone and making sure you can use it before you arrive, we found it much easier to see the tricky navigation turns on the phone than on the small (and often hard to see) screen of the small Garmin GPS device provided.

Lovely Tour of South Holland and Bruges
Amsterdam to Bruges: Cycling through South Holland and Zeeland
This was my first supported bike travel vacation and it was lovely. Although the GPS stopped working on day 4, we were able to use the previously downloaded Maps on Ride with GPS. Luckily I brought my phone holder so it was convenient. There were some routes that were a bit more complex than necessary with the route going off on a tangent and then coming back to the original roadway- most likely to provide more scenic byways or to add mileage. We were often able to stop along the way at a cafe to have a drink or dessert or even lunch. I recommend using the ebikes for Holland due to the wind. We had great weather in early/mid- May but missed the blooming tulips. Next time we'll go in April to see the tulips (although the weather might offer more rain). We had beautiful weather with sun and 70 degree days (one into the 80s) with only 1-1/2 days with rain. Loved that someone took our bags on to the hotels for us and the charming B&Bs were luxury. Loved, loved, loved the last B&B (De Zomere) in Bruges. It was quite unique and my sister and her hubby were jealous of the accommodations as they were placed in the non-descript Martin's hotel along with half of Bruges' tourists! I would recommend for future bike tours that you list bringing along some anti-chafing "butter" for your derriere. The upright position of the bikes is a different sensation for those of us used to Road bikes and it made for a few uncomfortable days in the saddle. Overall, a wonderful way to spend part of a vacation.
