Lake Bike Tour
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
The tour was very well organized. The lake was very low due to a lack of rain, so probably not as scenic as it would otherwise have been. The hotels in Switzerland were very pedestrian and should definitely be upgraded. Also, the bags didnt always arrive timely when we got to the hotels in the afternoons. Apart from that, we enjoyed the trip and it went very smoothly.

Enjoyable, but not one of the best
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This was our 8th or 9th bike tour in Europe, most booked thru Biketours.com. They always do a great job with a a shout out to Taylor, who is asked responsive. We enjoyed the tour, but compared to others, It fella bit flat in some areas. Lake Constance was beautiful, hotels (category K) were great, but the paths were not as interesting as we’ve experienced on other tours. Although we had nice views of the lake most of the time, some of the paths were they more industrial zones and railroad tracks. Not bad, but not 5 star.

Castle Corridor - Rhine River Valley
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
Castle after Castle. Wine, Wine, Everywhere Wine!!! Velociped App was sensational guiding us on the route, getting us to our specific hotel, sites to see along the way. A few bike issues on the front end but Velociped finally took care of it. BikeTours followed up to make sure all was well. Hotels were 4 and 5 star (by European standards) with the exception of Hotel Sum Adler in Bad Godesberg. Good hotel, clean, good breakfast, but our room was the size of a phone booth! We actually had a bit of a chuckle about it. We were blessed with perfect weather for the entire ride. Rheinfels Schloss Hotel is a must!!!!!

Mosel - wine wine everywhere whine!!!
Mosel Bike Path: Dreamy Mosel Valley from Trier to Koblenz
Beautiful weather and scenery, great hotels (4-5 star by European standards, riesling wine fields nonstop for 5 days. Berg Eltz Castle worth the effort and cost. Had a few "hiccups" from the Pedalo folks, but BikeTours came to the rescue. We first attempted this trip as our first BikeTours trip almost 11 years ago. However, we were late to the party and everything was booked for the time period we chose. So we finally made Too many positive things say about this trip. Just do it!!!!

Tales From the Danube Cycle Path
Danube Cycle Path Passau – Budapest
This was the trip of our dreams and was so great, I had to write a book about it!
We had amazing sights along flat paths, delicious wine in wine country and met interesting people. Navigating from the app was a bit challenging and there may have been a corn field we found ourselves in in Hungary where the paths weren't as easy to follow. However, it all added to the adventure.
