The best Beatles tour in Liverpool

    The Beatles Liverpool E-Bike Tour

This was an outstanding tour of Liverpool’s Beatles history, and the history of Liverpool as a port city. Our guide, Dale, was incredibly friendly and gave us high-quality commentary throughout the tour, teaching even lifelong Beatles fans something new about the band!

The tour took us to the two main cathedrals, to the schools of John, Paul and George, the homes of John, Paul and Ringo, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, Woolton Village, Sefton Park, the grave of Eleanor Rigby, and along the beautiful Mersey promenade. By bike, we were able to reach places I hadn’t been able to see on a bus tour.

I especially enjoyed our stop at Strawberry Fields, where we were given the chance to stop for coffee and see the original piano used by Lennon to record ‘Imagine’, complete with cigarette marks! Likewise, popping into the gift store on Penny Lane was a lovely touch.

Our tour guide Dale, assisted by Sean, made sure we were comfortable all the way and took time to get to know us. I was impressed not only by his knowledge but by his commitment to making this an eco-friendly tour. It finished with a very relaxing ride along the promenade by the Mersey, with beautiful views of the river.

We were kitted out with top quality e-bikes which made the whole tour very easy. Naming them after famous Liverpudlians is a great touch, and it was a brilliant atmosphere having the tunes of the Beatles playing from Dale’s bike as we cycled.

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone wanting to discover authentic Liverpool, even if they aren’t a Beatles superfan – you get to see so much of the city. For a Beatles fan, this tour can’t be beaten.

    London's best landmarks

    · Love London Bike Tour

I was only in London for a day but I felt like I got a really good impression of the city from taking this tour. It was an amazing way to explore a large city from ground level – we covered far more of the city than I could have walked in a day and took in a lot of London’s most famous landmarks.

We were given the option of a men’s or ladies’ bike and were guided by Birgit, who kept us all safe and together despite us being quite a large group. Birgit was incredibly knowledgeable with lots of facts and interesting history that brought the landmarks to life.

We covered a lot of ground and really got to know the areas we explored. We saw the icons of London, like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Lambeth Bridge, cycled through several parks including Hyde Park, and were given the chance on Carnaby Street to lock up our bikes and go for a 30 min solo walk or visit a café. My favorite part was the Banksy Tunnel – as we biked through we could watch graffiti artists designing on the walls, and the ceiling was amazing! Overall, this was a great way to see the main icons of London in just a few hours.

    A scenic, relaxed bike tour

    · Brighton Coastal Bike Tour

I really enjoyed my tour with Duncan – he is very knowledgeable about the area and was friendly and welcoming to the whole group. He interacted with everyone and made sure we were all having a great time the whole way.

This was the coastal tour so as well as the Brighton Pavilion and Brighton Pier we had a lovely ride along the seafront and under the cliffs, which are beautiful. The shoreline along the route to Rottingdean is very atmospheric, and we also got to see the iconic main beach.

We were a large group but Duncan kept us together. I really enjoyed cycling around the marina and taking in lots of traditional English seaside views. Overall, it was a really scenic and enjoyable trip.

    · Cotswolds E-Bike Tour

Hats off to Alasdair and our tour guide, Mike! My friend and I had a fantastic time touring the idyllic pasturelands and historical sites of the Cotswolds thanks to their cheery attitude and attentive guidance. Mike's insights proved that no one can give you a better sense of a place than a local, and as we toured, he ensured that even as we were wowed by the scenery, we were attentive to the rules of the road and got where we were going together.

    A Trip to Remember

    · Oxford & the Royal Palaces along the River Thames

With a great mix of trails and roads, this was one of our best bike tours.
Our self-guide adventure took us along the Thames River on well conditioned paths, trails and roads, where we did not see a lot of others. The Hotels were very good and easy to find, since we used the tour companies gps route guides on our phones using RideWithGPS. With this we never got turned around. Each day was a little different at every turn, and would recommend this to all. We added to the trip with a train trip up to Liverpool and four days there exploring all about Liverpool and the Beatles, including an evening at the Cavern Club.
GREAT Adventure we are glad we took

A chill informative cycle along the coast of Brighton

    · Brighton Coastal Bike Tour

Duncan was a great guide on our cycle around Brighton, he was super friendly and very knowledgeable on the local area. We had originally booked on the South Downs tour, but were not feeling up to going up and down hills. Duncan was happy to accommodate, and so took us on the Coastal Route which was mostly flat. The weather was great for a casual cycle. Clear skies and a calm breeze. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore and learn a bit more about Brighton.
