30 year wedding anniversary trip
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
We had a wonderful time learning about Croatia and exploring the islands on our bicycles each day. We did the self- guided tour and found the GPS easy to use and accurate to our accommodations each night. Beautiful country and amazing people.

A complete joy
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
What a way to meet Croatia. Fantastic bikes, boat, leaders and group. I had just a fantastic week.... from the first tour (a walk around Split) so interesting. Great rides - some long and some shorter - all fun and interesting.... beautiful views. Lucky to meet a lovely group of riders, all keen and on time. The leaders kept us across everything but never overwhelmed us with info.
Only issue - i found it difficult to locate the boat.... there was no clip board outside on the street and it took 4-5 phone calls with the contact person to finally locate the boat. Others told me they had the same experience. The food was also very good.- What was the date of your tour?

Wonderful experience
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
The guides were wonderful! The rides challenging. I rode a regular bike, my wife an e-bike. We were both pleasantly challenged. Only an in shape experienced cyclist should try a regular bike. Elevation gain over distance is considerable. Beautiful views, nice villages.
We had below deck rooms. I don’t recommend them. At one point the sewage backed up into our toilet and the smell was awful. They repaired it in several hours.
The reason given was: it’s an old boat and the seals are not good. There is a new owner who needs to fix this!
Meals were plentiful. Breakfasts very good. Dinners were simple and adequate. Lots of grilled or fried fish and meat.- What was the date of your tour?

The islands are a must see if traveling to Croatia. This tour made it so easy to enjoy. The guides were excellent. They were patient, answered questions thoroughly, did a good job trouble shooting, giving us anticipatory guidance and let us go at the pace that was comfortable to us. We were able to stop frequently for photos. We've never done a guided tour before and planned to DIY on the islands. It would have been much more difficult trying to coordinate catching the few ferries that take bikes if we did it on our own. It was great to not worry about navigation, accommodations, etc. We just pedaled, ate, enjoyed and repeated. Only 3 of us used regular bikes. The other 20+ riders used e-bikes and had varying experience cycling

First Boat/Bike tour; would do it again!

Our guide and boat crew were great. We had some bad weather and they worked together to make up for it by diverting to other islands. We used e bikes with pedal assist; they were very nice bikes. There were extra bikes and batteries in case of problems. There was a nice balance of boat, bike, and independent on shore time

Great trip

Loved the access to small ports on islands. Stari Grad was our favorite. Liked that the trip guide could alter the schedule to avoid crowds. The e bike made this trip easy for us! Could NOT have done it without the ebike!

Most beautiful biking in Wurope
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
There are so many things to evaluate: The Boat Harmonia: comfortable and attractive. The staff on the Harmonia: helpful and upbeat. The bike Rides: the most beautiful we have seen in Europe. The quality of the bikes: excellent. Numbers of people on a ride: too many. All thirty of us rode as a group. Some experienced with regular bikes and some weaker bikers with Ebikes. Too many people in a cluster on the road and too much waiting to regroup. Two guides and thirty people did not work so well. Food was adequate, but large full course hot meals at lunch were not so great.

Croatia Islands
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
Excellent in every way! Ideal way to see Croatia. Guides were very knowledgeable and super friendly. There was a lead and sweep guide on every ride, so there was no way to get lost. Food was plentiful and good with nice variety. Only two meals not on board - one lunch, one dinner. Bikes in good condition and guides were prepared if repairs needed. Cabins were very clean. Be aware, no soap or shampoo provided. Hilly, but no problem with ebikes.

Beautiful Croatian cities and islands

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The Harmonia is a beautiful boat and well provisioned. There are some signs of wear and maintenance needs to be checked carefully room by room. The staff was terrific if not experienced—- seems like this US problem exists everywhere.

Croatia really exceeded our expectations. The scenery, food and wine was great and the hotels on this tour were very nice. (We chose the upgraded options on our tour). Seeing the islands on a bike was the way to go. Also worth noting, we cut out a day on our itinerary due to time constraints and the team was very accommodating.

Beautiful trip

Croatia is absolutely beautiful, and what better way to explore by bike. Our guide was fully prepared, and gave us a history of the areas we were going to ride. The only hiccup we had was finding the first ferry to board, but we asked the locals and they pointed us in the right direction. Beautiful trip; I specifically loved Hvar Town. The hotel we stayed in was incredible and the view of the sea from our room was stunning.

Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
Such a beautiful and well-organized trip. The provider met us at our hotel, gave us an extensive overview, fitted us to our bikes, and sent us on our way. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and really took his time making sure we had all the information we needed. The bikes were in excellent condition, and included helmets, repair kits, pumps, and small rack-top bike bags. The routes were all on RideWithGPS and had excellent details, including sites of interest and restaurant recommendations. There were no serious glitches and the provider was very quick to respond to my questions via text along the way. A few pointers: first, though the distances are short, there are a number of significant hills. We did fine on our regular bikes but if you are unsure whether to get an eBike, consider those hills. Second, the boat transfer includes a private speedboat -- our ride was very bumpy because of the wind, not for the faint of heart. The hotels were wonderful and the food, wine, olive oil, and sightseeing were fantastic!!

The most amazing cycle route
Balkan Treasures
What an amazing experience. This was my first self guided solo tour on a bicycle and I admit I was very nervous before the trip that I would get lost! The guides Drazen and Zoran ensures that did not happen talking me through each day and providing maps and detailed instructions. The scenery is phenomenal and I was blessed with perfect weather
Prior to the trip the office team were quick to respond to any questions I had , in particular Brittany was a real gem.
The only thing I would say if I had to list a negative would be the hotels. When I reviewed them online they seemed great but the room I actually got was often the worst one in the building. The first night in Cavtat I do believe the bathroom had been a former closet judging by the door and size. Not that i spent much time in a hotel room so it wasn’t a major concern.
I wiould definitely recommend this company and now I’ve gained confidence in touring solo I’ll most likely use them again.- What was the date of your tour?
