Beautiful Croatian cities and islands
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
We had a wonderful time on this tour. The Harmonia is a beautiful boat and well provisioned. There are some signs of wear and maintenance needs to be checked carefully room by room. The staff was terrific if not experienced—- seems like this US problem exists everywhere.

Wonderful experience
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
The guides were wonderful! The rides challenging. I rode a regular bike, my wife an e-bike. We were both pleasantly challenged. Only an in shape experienced cyclist should try a regular bike. Elevation gain over distance is considerable. Beautiful views, nice villages.
We had below deck rooms. I don’t recommend them. At one point the sewage backed up into our toilet and the smell was awful. They repaired it in several hours.
The reason given was: it’s an old boat and the seals are not good. There is a new owner who needs to fix this!
Meals were plentiful. Breakfasts very good. Dinners were simple and adequate. Lots of grilled or fried fish and meat.- What was the date of your tour?

Loved the access to small ports on islands. Stari Grad was our favorite. Liked that the trip guide could alter the schedule to avoid crowds. The e bike made this trip easy for us! Could NOT have done it without the ebike!

Fantastic Trip!
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
What a great way to see the Dalmatian Islands for the first time. The planning and leadership from our guides, Ivan and Martine, were superb, the food on board Romantica was generous and good, and the crew were very helpful. Travelling by sea and bike was a wonderful way to experience the beauty, history and culture of Croatia. Communication and information from Bike Tours was clear and helpful. The trip struck a nice balance by providing time to relax on the boat, time to bike in the mornings and early afternoons, and time to explore on our own the ports we visited. This was our first time doing a boat and bike tour and our expectations were met and exceeded at every point--highly recommended!

A complete joy

What a way to meet Croatia. Fantastic bikes, boat, leaders and group. I had just a fantastic week.... from the first tour (a walk around Split) so interesting. Great rides - some long and some shorter - all fun and interesting.... beautiful views. Lucky to meet a lovely group of riders, all keen and on time. The leaders kept us across everything but never overwhelmed us with info.
Only issue - i found it difficult to locate the boat.... there was no clip board outside on the street and it took 4-5 phone calls with the contact person to finally locate the boat. Others told me they had the same experience. The food was also very good.- What was the date of your tour?

What a wonderful way to see this part of Croatia!
It was a unique experience for us. I liked the combination of an active component to the holiday and cultural experience. Living aboard a mechanized sailboat while exploring some of the Dalmation islands was a great way to combine sightseeing with accommodation. The bike and tour guides, as well as boat crew were wonderful and did all they could to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour.- What was the date of your tour?

The islands are a must see if traveling to Croatia. This tour made it so easy to enjoy. The guides were excellent. They were patient, answered questions thoroughly, did a good job trouble shooting, giving us anticipatory guidance and let us go at the pace that was comfortable to us. We were able to stop frequently for photos. We've never done a guided tour before and planned to DIY on the islands. It would have been much more difficult trying to coordinate catching the few ferries that take bikes if we did it on our own. It was great to not worry about navigation, accommodations, etc. We just pedaled, ate, enjoyed and repeated. Only 3 of us used regular bikes. The other 20+ riders used e-bikes and had varying experience cycling

Trip of a lifetime
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
The trip exceeded all of my expectations. Coming from Alaska, it was refreshing to see the people of Croatia to be set apart from what we see in the USA. I did not see anyone passed out on the streets or strung out on drugs. You could walk freely in the evening on the islands and feel safe. The beauty was breathtaking and the crew was generous in their hospitality. My friend that joined me on the trip talked me into doing an E-bike, and I am so grateful that I did! I was able to enjoy the entire trip that way and still got a great work out. I would do this trip again!

Most beautiful biking in Wurope
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
There are so many things to evaluate: The Boat Harmonia: comfortable and attractive. The staff on the Harmonia: helpful and upbeat. The bike Rides: the most beautiful we have seen in Europe. The quality of the bikes: excellent. Numbers of people on a ride: too many. All thirty of us rode as a group. Some experienced with regular bikes and some weaker bikers with Ebikes. Too many people in a cluster on the road and too much waiting to regroup. Two guides and thirty people did not work so well. Food was adequate, but large full course hot meals at lunch were not so great.

Croatia Islands
UNESCO Highlights of Dalmatia by E-bike and Boat
Excellent in every way! Ideal way to see Croatia. Guides were very knowledgeable and super friendly. There was a lead and sweep guide on every ride, so there was no way to get lost. Food was plentiful and good with nice variety. Only two meals not on board - one lunch, one dinner. Bikes in good condition and guides were prepared if repairs needed. Cabins were very clean. Be aware, no soap or shampoo provided. Hilly, but no problem with ebikes.

30 year wedding anniversary trip

We had a wonderful time learning about Croatia and exploring the islands on our bicycles each day. We did the self- guided tour and found the GPS easy to use and accurate to our accommodations each night. Beautiful country and amazing people.

Amazing Trip With Lots of Hills
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
Our Croatian adventure exceeded all expectations! The routes were very scenic, the locals were so friendly, and the food was delicious and totally fresh! We've done several bike trips in Europe, and this was definitely one of our favorites.
We paid a little more for the hotels and were very pleased with the accommodations. The breakfasts were very generous, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was great at all locations, too. There were two nights at each hotel, which was nice, since we weren't constantly packing and unpacking.
Our booking experience was great. There were 8 in our party, with all different itineraries, and everyone signed up at different times, which created hotel booking challenges. Brittany was so patient and answered all of our emails promptly. Most of us needed to add nights onto the basic package, and Brittany took care of that for us, too.
I can't say enough good things about the local tour company. We were self-guided, but when we ran into a little trouble on our first day (someone in our group fell off the bike), the local company was incredibly responsive and there when we needed them. There was constant communication throughout the trip, and they made sure everything went smoothly. Our luggage was transferred without incident and was always waiting for us in our room at the end of our travel days.
The directions on the route sheets were easy to follow, and with odometers on all the bikes, we never really got lost (which is a first for us). Having a choice of rides on most days, and the details on restaurants and points of interest in each of the towns we passed through made the rides even more enjoyable. The bikes were comfortable and everything we needed was supplied: tire repair kits, spare tubes, pumps, locks, etc. The collapsible panniers were awesome and transported wine very nicely!
The only negative thing I could say about the trip is that we were on main roads more than I would have liked. On previous trips to Italy and France, there were more back road options. But there wasn't a whole lot of traffic, and the cars generally gave us a comfortable amount of space when passing. The ride was definitely hillier and more difficult than we expected from a difficulty rating of 3, but the uphills weren't too steep and they were definitely worth it for the views!
