Great way to tour!
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
The tour was excellent from beginning to end. Joseph was a very knowledgeable guide. The route was explained clearly and was as leisurely or challenging as we wanted to make it. The hotels chosen were excellent and well located for checking out museums, restaurants, shopping and historical sites. All in all, a terrific experience and one that I would do again with this company!!

Lovely trip non touristy.
Danube River and Black Sea
Excellent trip and well organized by Deylan. Hotels had good food, cold beer, and pools. He was able to add a motorized boat tour on the Danube where we saw many birds. We saw many archeological sites. The bikes were good and he provides excellent directions. Wether was warm but the hotels all had air conditioning .

Historical-Adevnture- Amazing guides
Danube River and Black Sea
This bike tour was a history lesson on wheels. We started by visiting the WW1 Museum for an amazing experience. Deyan, the owner of the tour company and our guide and daily history lesson instructor was outstanding! His knowledge and enthusiasm of the local history came shining through in his daily lessons. The ride takes you past a large variety of terrain from rolling fields of corn, sunflower and wheat to large orchards of apricots, cherries and peaches. The riding surface included asphalt, dirt and gravel roads. At one point we cycled on an ancient Roman road along the Danube River. We experienced amazing views while riding along the coast off the Black Sea. We had two spur of the moment stops to visit with some locals making traditional Bulgarian Lutenitsa. The locals were eager to share the tradition of making this delicious Bulgarian treat.
Romania and Bulgaria are two countries that are climbing in tourism. Plan your visit before they become new tourists hot spots. You won’t regret it.
As always bike tours are a great way to experience local culture and make new friends at a relaxed pace.

Get out there and LIVE!
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
This tour was well orchestrated with every detail Jozef (our "pre-tour" guide) gave us perfect instructions so we stayed on course without troubles. We upgraded, and the hotels were all nice and in good locations regarding the bike trail (with the exception of the huge city of Budapest). We also used the ride with GPS app, which was extremely helpful. We had some rainy windy days, but overall the experience was delightful. I thought the breakfasts were ample except the one in Visegrad.

Enjoyable holiday

The bikes were good. Although if you can take your own saddle , cleats and shoes might improve your comfort.
Hotels were really good with incredible breakfasts
Overnight stops were well selected for tourism
We used no navigation aids (gps, phone etc) possibly an electronic route would make navigating easier but getting lost is part of the fun
Any fitness level could do this

This tour was a great way to experience NE Bulgaria and a slice of Romania. The guides were awesome and we were well cared for. It was extremely hot and they ensured we had sufficient water and breaks at all times. Deyan shared a wealth of information about the cultural and historical aspects of each area. We appreciated having e-bikes (which were in excellent condition) as it was very hilly at times. That said, the other people in our group were very fit and managed fine with standard bicycles. There was more dirt road riding than expected, however that was necessary in this part of Bulgaria/Romania. Hotels were generally decent and the best available considering the rural locations. Scenery was beautiful and there was a wealth of cultural and historical/archeological sites. The Bulgarian and Romanian people we encountered with very friendly and hospitable. Overall we were very pleased with this tour and enjoyed learning more about this part of Eastern Europe.

Great Tour
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
Yes highly recommend this. Mostly off road on good or at least reasonable paths. Bikes were heavy but sturdy and quite fun to ride. The geometry of the bikes means that you can get a good view of the countryside as you pedal through it. The standard of the hotels was good and we had no language problems. The guides and maps were pretty good but we also used a supplementary map we purchased. It is usually a bit tricky getting out of towns back on to the trail. My favourite place was Gyor which was unexpectedly really nice - great central old town. We added on days at either end so we got to see Vienna and Budapest properly - worth doing. We only had one significant problem which was the bikes were incorrectly sized - not sure whether our fault or theirs - but this was swiftly rectified on Day Two.

Great Trip Along The Danube

What a great trip. Great weather, easy to follow routing, bike paths most of the way and very few hills!!
The accommodations were perfect, and the choice of towns and cities to overnight in were great.
We spent extra days in Vienna and Budapest and both cities are a delight to visit.
Overall a fantastic experience. -

Trip to remember
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
We traveled as a couple (82yrs oldest) and had an enjoyable time. It would have been more enjoyable if the bikes we hired were lighter. The navigation software was excellent. A couple of sections were difficult to negotiate due to strong headwinds, but the rest of the tour required only a moderate effort to complete. Accommodation and associated service were excellent throughout.
We were most impressed with the initial communication with biketours personnel.
