A great way to explore some of the smaller towns in Greece. There was a little more riding on roads with narrow or no shoulders than we had expected but drivers were generally courteous. We were not advised of a hotel change on the first day the ride which caused some unnecessary confusion.

Cycling adventure in Greece!
Sparta and the Mediterranean Coast
The trip was great! It is always such a unique experience to cycle and explore new places on bike. The people and the food in Greece is 10 out of 10!!
Some days were a bit demanding (especially the first day) as we had non electric racers.
The highligts were Gythio, Monemvasia and the island Elanfonosis, though every village is charming and worth visiting. The cycling paths were non traffical with few exceptions and we find the drivers very polite and gave us enough space. Self guided was not a problem as the app was great and easy to follow.
As we had the trip in low season it was some times a bit hard to find a place opened for lunch but always managed in the end!
Hopefully this was only the beginning of cycling in Greece.- What was the date of your tour?

The Quiet Side of Greece
Sparta and the Mediterranean Coast
After the hustle and bustle of Athens so enjoyed our cycling experience in much smaller Greek towns with more of a local atmosphere. The bike company did an outstanding job of route planning, a harder day followed by an easier one with the option to include a rest/ exploring day instead. The local accommodations were varied and all excellent and no issues checking in, sometimes earlier if we finished quicker. The luggage transfer was flawless. The hills and wind made it challenging but still so enjoyable.

Great way to experience rural Greece
Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
We really enjoyed the tour. The small towns we stayed in were a delight to explore and the hotels were in good locations and had great character. When we had questions about the bikes or other issues, the tour company was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this bike tour to anyone. Most of us had e-bikes which were very much appreciated as there were climbs that were a bit challenging

Fantastic Trip across the board!!

This was an absolutely wonderful trip with an excellent boat (Erato), crew, wonderful chef and a particularly terrific guide (Chrysa !!!). Fantastic riding, wonderful towns and rest stops, incredible food and comfortable cabins. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

Fantastic tour!
Cultural Splendors of the Peloponnese and Saronic Isles E-bike and Boat
My best trip in 20 years! This is not to detract from past trips but this Greece tour was well executed. The staff (8) made each of our 17 participants (all friends) feel individually special.
The meals were excellent with variety and abundance - lots of Greek style dishes, diversity of fish, beef, lamb, ham, fruits, vegetables, etc.
The guides - Chrysa and Marylou- kept the group informed, gave excellent bike tours, and adjusted the itinerary when needed. What a comedy team! They work so well together and we had so many laughs! The swimming at various beaches and off the boat was a highlight. The boat was beautiful, spacious for the group and comfortable. We thought the rooms were adequately sized as compared to other tours we’ve been on. Climate control was good in the rooms although the cool nights made sleeping easy. There was some mild diesel smell in some of the rooms but opening the portholes and running the room fans took care of that odor - which mostly resulted from wind direction or docking . The bad mattresses were firm but in excellent condition. The bikes were in excellent shape and got all of us up the hills without depleting the batteries. The service crew always made sure the rooms were daily cleaned and any of our needs were met. They were outstanding! The scenery was just so beautiful! If you like boats, great food, excellent staff, exercise and good views, don’t pass up on this excellent trip!- What was the date of your tour?

Experiencing the beautiful Greek Islands by boat and bike with a fabulous group of people on a wonderful boat with food that was delicious - what a trip! Words I'd use to express the crew include loving, caring, fun, always giving their best, working around the clock, AMAZING. The chef and food were extraordinary, every meal was a delight. The Captain carefully arranged destinations to offer us the best possible experiences. The guides were safety conscious and just fabulous. We were cared for in a way that is hard to describe. I would happily travel with this group and specifically with these people anytime, anywhere.

Another bike tour on my bucket list ticked off
Sparta and the Mediterranean Coast
This ride is a terrific way to see the Peloponnese. I found the section from Sparta to Gytheio the most interesting, with trails through olive and citrus groves. The Byzantine site of Mystras is well worth spending time. With a warning that to visit takes a while and the road to it is very steep particularly if you’re visiting the Frankish castle above the monastery buildings. Being in my 70’s I was grateful that I ordered an e-bike, but 22 kms from Gytheio I ran out of battery and had to pedal the distance and doing this with 26 kilo bike wasn’t easy. Organisers may consider an e-bike with a larger battery power. The battery lasted just long enough to complete the beach tour from Gytheio the following day. There were a variety of trails and not too much peddling on main roads. The hotels were very good and friendly service.

The REAL Greece Experience

This was one of the most (if not THE most) enjoyable tour we have done in Europe with Biketours.com
The itinerary was excellent - each day was quite different. Some of the little portside villages we called into were exquisite as were the local people & food we enjoyed along the way. The bikes were superb as was the navigation system which never let us down. The briefing we received at Sparta (Fotus) & support along the way was first class. From The Mountains To The Sea
Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
From start to finish the trip was tremendously engaging. We covered beautiful and varied landscape. Time in the mountains and time on the water, could not have been much nicer. The high mountains were a nice cool temperature and the sea was comfortably warm. All the biking was pleasant and manageable. It was a great family trip for the 4 of us. And, it was something that we hadn't done in a number of years. We are quite grateful that everything was so well organized. Support all along the way could not have been better. Highly highly recommend the trip.

Experience of a lifetime

What an amazing journey we had through Wow scenery and mindblowing history. The whole trip was so well organised and the tour guides and operation team were always so friendly i formative and helpful. The hotels were amazing all with outstanding breakfasts and service. The daily rides were nice and varied in terain. We saw so much of real Greece and the beaches in the second half were just gems!. We had the best week and will definately be looking to ride another such tour.

Amazingly beautiful ride through a remote and rugged part of Greece
Sparta and the Mediterranean Coast
Another great ride from BikeTours.com...This was my 5th ride in Europe. The tour and stops along the way were well thought out and the navigation app was first rate...Almost impossible to get lost. The overnights were all great (best hotels were in Sparta and Monemvasia). The food recommendations are excellent with many of the locals also agreeing with the tour provider's advice. We went in late June, so we knew it would be extremely hot and likely windy, but the conditions were easily overcome with some acclimation prior to the trip and always making sure you had water. I'd recommend that you thoroughly research forecasted weather and the topography prior to the trip...This would have been extremely difficult without an e-bike. The highlight of the trip was Monemvasia, and I'd recommend an extra day there (at least), although all of the destinations had their own unique charm. My only negative takeaways: 1. The nav app uses a lot of battery power (if you're continuously viewing the map instead of the also available audio prompts), so make sure at least two of you have the app installed in case the battery dies....we preferred the map over just the audio, so that was partially our doing. 2. We had e-bikes...They were a bit tired and worn out...the gear shifters often did not work well. On day one, one bike wouldn't power up...I resolved the problem by using a nail file on the battery contacts, and then on day 4 of the trip, one bike completely failed (thankfully at the starting point for the day, resulting in a taxi ride for one of us (there were 4) and a bike replacement....That all being said, the tour provider was very responsive and accommodating. I'd also highly recommend having WhatsApp installed on your phone PRIOR to your trip...The Greeks prefer it to communicate. The ONLY reason I did not rate this a 5-star was the bike issues we had throughout the ride. I'd also like to emphasize that this is a remote part of Greece, so be well-supplied and familiar with the route when you set out each day.... the number of places to stop varies. There are no shortage of orange groves along the way and we were fortunate that the abundant fruit was ripe for the occasional snack. And finally, the Greek people are extremely friendly and kind.
