This was a great way to see a lot of places in Croatia. The boat crew and guides were fabulous!! The food was amazing, the rooms were very comfortable - so happy to have air conditioning! We had a great group of people on the boat and went away new friends from all over. The e-bikes were necessary because of the hills. I would definitely do another bike cruise with this company!

My wife and I took the Romantica from Dubrovnik to Split and had an excellent time! The three guides were outstanding: knowledgeable and extremely personable. We only had 12 people in our group, so there was lots of room on the boat to wander around. The city walking tours were a nice addition. The hills are a real climb, most of our group were on e-bikes but I started the trip on a peddle-bike. After 3 days I switched to an e-bike and really preferred it, would recommend e-bikes.

Leaders and group made this a magical experience

Not only did we have an exceptional trio of guides with us, we had an unusually small group which made usb bond so much easier. Loved getting to know the others on our boat, the Romantica, and travel around the beautiful isles of Croatia. I started off with a regular bike, able to manage the hills fairly easily, but always coming in just a bit later than those on e-bikes. There were some extra e-bikes and we decided on Day 4 to give it a try, and I was sold - it THEN became a vacation!! I didn't mind the effort pedaling uphill the minute we got on our bikes in the morning, but after pedaling on an e-bike, it's just so easy - and I didn't use the "help" that much, but when I wanted it, it was there and I didn't have to struggle at all! Sooooo nice!

Great great trip

What a great trip. Except for the condition of the "hybrid" bike I had (did not use e-bike), everything about this trip was beyond expectations...cabin, food, support, guides. My wife and I have been on other bike trips and have loved them. This trip was truly the best we have done. Everything was done to make the trip 5 stars. Modifications, when needed, were made with consideration for providing the best experience possible. For the casual rider or not in top notch condition
individual, an e-bike, is a must and will make the riding experience way fun. The islands are beautiful. The ride routes have challenging climbs. Guides were extremely knowledgeable, and supportive. The Romantica is charming and seemed the perfect match and vibe for the itinerary.
There are newer and more "glamorous" ships we encountered, but was glad to be on the Romantica.Highest recommendation.
As noted above, my only negative was the non e-bikes provided us. I am an very experienced rider and the bikes provided (the first one was not in acceptable riding condition, and the second provide was just slightly better) were poorly maintained, with shifters not working properly, rusty chains, etc., the wrong size for me, and the rides would have been way more enjoyable on a "good" bike. E-bikes appeared in good condition and well maintained.
In spite of this, I loved this trip.

First Boat/Bike tour; would do it again!

Our guide and boat crew were great. We had some bad weather and they worked together to make up for it by diverting to other islands. We used e bikes with pedal assist; they were very nice bikes. There were extra bikes and batteries in case of problems. There was a nice balance of boat, bike, and independent on shore time

The islands are a must see if traveling to Croatia. This tour made it so easy to enjoy. The guides were excellent. They were patient, answered questions thoroughly, did a good job trouble shooting, giving us anticipatory guidance and let us go at the pace that was comfortable to us. We were able to stop frequently for photos. We've never done a guided tour before and planned to DIY on the islands. It would have been much more difficult trying to coordinate catching the few ferries that take bikes if we did it on our own. It was great to not worry about navigation, accommodations, etc. We just pedaled, ate, enjoyed and repeated. Only 3 of us used regular bikes. The other 20+ riders used e-bikes and had varying experience cycling

Wonderful experience

The guides were wonderful! The rides challenging. I rode a regular bike, my wife an e-bike. We were both pleasantly challenged. Only an in shape experienced cyclist should try a regular bike. Elevation gain over distance is considerable. Beautiful views, nice villages.
We had below deck rooms. I don’t recommend them. At one point the sewage backed up into our toilet and the smell was awful. They repaired it in several hours.
The reason given was: it’s an old boat and the seals are not good. There is a new owner who needs to fix this!
Meals were plentiful. Breakfasts very good. Dinners were simple and adequate. Lots of grilled or fried fish and meat.- What was the date of your tour?

Flexible and customizable private bike tour

A great way to see and learn about the history of the fertile valley of the Konovale region. We saw Roman aqueducts, a 300yr old tree in the courtyard of a church, a terrific overlook from the cliffs above the Adriatic Sea and the a delightful lunch stop at family vineyard. Highly recommend this day bike tour.

The trek from Dubrovnik to the small town of Ravno in Herzegovina return was exceptional as we were able to complete a 92km loop that only required us to backtrack one small section of the route.
Our Guide Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious.
One of the highlights of this journey was the great lunch at Hotel Stanica in Ravno prior to completing the return trek via Slano.
