A fun and educational ride around Bucharest with Dan (the best guide)

      Highlights of Bucharest Bike Tour

Firstly, Dan is an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable, funny, knows a lot of fun facts, and also very friendly, welcoming and approachable.
The tour was great fun, but also a bit unusual compared to other bike tours I’ve done—since Bucharest doesn’t have many dedicated bike lanes and most main attractions are in the city center or Old Town, we spent a large part of the tour cycling on sidewalks. It was an interesting experience, but I would love if in the future the tour includes more rides through parks or areas with more space for cycling.

The tour was interactive, and we learned a lot. On top of that, Dan shared a large number of recommendations related to Bucharest, Romania, Romanian movies, books, culture and more—I really appreciate that effort, and it’s clear that Dan truly loves his job and does it perfectly.

I recommend this tour to everyone. Even though it’s a bit unusual because most of the riding is in the city center and Old Town, that’s also part of its charm. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and it’s a fantastic way to get to know Bucharest.

      Historical-Adevnture- Amazing guides

      Danube River and Black Sea

This bike tour was a history lesson on wheels. We started by visiting the WW1 Museum for an amazing experience. Deyan, the owner of the tour company and our guide and daily history lesson instructor was outstanding! His knowledge and enthusiasm of the local history came shining through in his daily lessons. The ride takes you past a large variety of terrain from rolling fields of corn, sunflower and wheat to large orchards of apricots, cherries and peaches. The riding surface included asphalt, dirt and gravel roads. At one point we cycled on an ancient Roman road along the Danube River. We experienced amazing views while riding along the coast off the Black Sea. We had two spur of the moment stops to visit with some locals making traditional Bulgarian Lutenitsa. The locals were eager to share the tradition of making this delicious Bulgarian treat.
Romania and Bulgaria are two countries that are climbing in tourism. Plan your visit before they become new tourists hot spots. You won’t regret it.
As always bike tours are a great way to experience local culture and make new friends at a relaxed pace.
PS- Deyan is an awesome photographer.

We didn't let a rainy day ruin our adventure.

      Bucharest Compact Bike Tour

We really appreciated our guide Ed. He was professional and friendly in spite of the Hub's initial cranky attitude about the very rainy weather. Ed probably thought we needed a marriage counselor more than a bike tour (LOL).
Once we took off to tour the interesting city of Bucharest all was well because the route was well organized, the bikes were brand new and Ed's knowledge was outstanding. My first and last impression was the same, Ed really likes his job and he is very good tour guide. Bravo Ed!
