“This was a self-guided tour. Bikes provided. Bikes were of good construction, 20spd disc brakes and mostly sufficient. We had to walk up hills a few times although the vast majority of the route was along the river or riding downhill. However you will want to train for this ride and it is not for beginners unless you go electric. Highlights were the constant incredible views, cute Austrian villages with delicious bakeries. Flowers on the homes were extraordinary and the hotel accommodations and food were top notch!” Less

We stayed at Hotel Laurin, which is a family owned hotel that works to accommodate its guests. Returning to the same hotel after a day of riding and then enjoying the sauna, pool, and lounging areas adds to the rejuvenating aspect of the vacation. But one of the best things about Hotel Laurin is the fantastic 5 course dinners and the wonderful breakfasts.
