A thrilling descent from Mount Dajti

Take a day tour up Mount Dajti, located in a lush national park just a short ride from the center of Tirana. Follow your guide on bike lanes out of the city and hop in a cable car to ascend to the peak of the mountain. Soak up the views before enjoying an exhilarating downhill ride towards the scenic landscapes of Surrel. You'll then stop at the beautiful and biodiverse Farka Lake before heading back into the city.

Begin at Tirana's central Skanderbeg Square and cycle towards the Dajti Cable Car. Your guide will lead you along a network of bike lanes that head straight to the gates of the national park. Board the cable car with your bike and enjoy a twenty minute journey over Tirana's surrounding mountains, right up to the summit of Mount Dajti.

Bask in the breathtaking views from the summit before beginning your downhill bike tour adventure. Your guide will lead you expertly down the safest paths, allowing you to simply enjoy the thrill of downhill riding.

Your bicycle tour then heads towards Surrel, a scenic area that overlooks the city of Tirana. Wend your way along quiet roads lined with trees and lush vegetation until you reach Lake Farka. This artificial lake was built in the 1980s for irrigation and is one of the biggest lakes in Albania. With a well-paved path all around its edge, you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the hilly countryside beyond. Stop here for a picnic lunch, included in the price of the bike tour, and, replenished, ride back towards Tirana.
