    • Medieval masterpieces, romantic ruins, a picturesque port, and breathtaking beach

Ride through Rhodes in glorious Greek sunshine or in the glamorous golden hours on the Rhodes Sunshine or Sunset E-Bike Tour! In just 2.5 hours, your guided day tour will take in the highlights and hidden gems of this ancient city, including the Old Town Wall, Old Town Moat, Marine Gate, The Gate of the Virgin, St. Anthony’s Gate, Our Lady of the Castle, Mandraki Harbor, Fort St. Nicholas, Evangelismos Church, Windmills, Deer Statues, Temple of Athena Lindia, Acropoli of Rhodes, Ancient Olympic Stadium, Monte Smith, Rhodes Aquarium, Palace of the Grand Master, Suleymaniye Mosque, Roloi Clock Tower, and Elli Beach. Your e-bike takes all the effort out of the ride, so you can simply absorb the awe-inspiring atmosphere of this Greek paradise.

Your bicycle tour begins by taking in the Old Town Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stuns every traveler. These colossal walls are an astounding 12 meters thick, formidable fortifications that kept the ancient city protected from invasion. Ride down to the ancient ramparts of the Old Town Moat, now landscaped into a picturesque park with flourishing flower beds and luscious lawns. Move along to the Marine Gate, the main entrance from the harbor to the city, and a magnificent medieval structure dating back to 1478. Those arriving from sea all those centuries ago would have entered Rhodes through this gargantuan gate, earning it the nickname the ‘Sea Gate’. Glide around to the Gate of the Virgin, also known as Panayia Gate, and admire the contrast in architecture between this fairly modern structure, designed by the Italian administration for vehicular traffic, and the Marine Gate you’ve just visited. Your day tour makes it a trio by taking you on to St. Anthony’s Gate, a historic medieval entrance into Rhodes’ Old Town.

Your guided tour continues on to Our Lady of the Castle, an awe-inspiring church-turned-mosque featuring fascinating frescoes, atmospheric vaulted ceilings, and beautiful Byzantine charm dating back to the 11th Century. Move on to Mandraki Harbor and find yourself in a magical port graced by the alluring Aegean Sea. Iridescent yachts bob gracefully in the harbor, once the mooring for the Knights of Rhodes. Here you’ll explore the famous deer statues and medieval windmills, as well as the fascinating Fort St. Nicholas. This lighthouse stands on a 15th Century bastion built to protect Mandraki Harbor - it’s a commanding symbol of Rhodes.

Your e-bike tour carries on to the Evangelismos Church, built in 1925 when Rhodes was an Italian city. Its interior is mesmerizingly intricate and colorful, each arch commanding the eye with its incredible detail and phenomenal frescoes. Your tour takes you on to the Temple of Athena Lindia, where you can park your bicycle amongst the romantic ruins of the sanctuary to the Goddess Athena. Ride on to the Acropolis of Rhodes atop Monte Smith, an archeological site wherein some of the world’s most important monuments once stood, including the Temple of Athena Polias, Zeus Polieus, and the Temple of Apollo, as well as an ancient stadium, odeon, and gymnasium. Standing up here on Monte Smith, you’ll be rewarded with phenomenal views over Rhodes, whilst the ancient Olympic Stadium is just a short cycle away.

You’ll ride on to Rhodes Aquarium and the Palace of the Grand Master. The palace, also known as the Kostello, is a medieval castle built for the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. A staggering site, you’ll feel yourself transported back in time when you find yourself in the shadows of this formidable fortress. Cycle on to Suleymaniye Mosque and admire its exquisite red brick exterior and magnificent minaret. Your guided tour continues on to the Roloi Clock Tower, a medieval clock tower standing atop the highest point in Old Town, offering a perfect panorama. Biking down to Elli Beach, your tour reaches a rewarding finale as you find yourself on one of Greece’s most popular beaches, famous for its glistening white sands, azure waters, and incredible curved shape. You’ll be more than tempted by the translucent turquoise ocean!
