Whether you are a novice or an experienced cyclist, this biking tour is for you! Get an intimate encounter with the stunning canyonlands of Utah. Hiking is also possible!

2023: Due to changes in the permitting system, Angels Landing permits are not guaranteed. If you are interested in doing the “chain hike” to Angels Landing, you can enter the public lottery for permits here, and our guide will accompany you. Contact us for more details.        Tour Description Daily Program

    • Daily program

Day 1: St. George - Bryce Canyon City (56 miles)
This epic adventure begins in St. George, Utah. You will be picked up from either the St. George Airport (7:30am), the Hilton Garden Inn (8am) or the Hyatt Place (8:15am). Those booking an extra night at the Hilton Garden can get a special rate and free parking, just ask us!

You'll start pedaling through Dixie National Forest and visit the Cedar Breaks National Monument. This half-mile-deep geologic amphitheater features amazing red and orange sandstone. You'll continue riding down a gradual hillside, descending past the aspens and pines that make up this gorgeous National Forest, until reaching the flat farmland around the town of Panguitch. The incredible rock formations of Red Canyon are the perfect backdrop as you cycle along the paved bike path leading to Bryce Canyon National Park (the last 15 miles +1,200 ft climb into Bryce Canyon are optional). Elevation gain/loss: + 2,148 ft / - 4,942 ft.

      (Meals L, D)

Day 2: Rainbow Point loop ride, Navajo/Queens Garden hiking loop (21 miles)
Today you have a choice between a beautiful 17-mile downhill ride from Rainbow Point, or be daring and ride there and back! After lunch, you'll take part in an awesome hike into Bryce Canyon where you'll find breathtaking views behind every turn. Cone-shaped hoodoos resembling wizards accompany you on your way. Elevation gain/loss: + 926 ft / - 2,372 ft.

      (Meals B, L, D)

Day 3: Bryce Canyon overlook hike, Zion National Park ride (35 miles)
A sunrise hike to the Bryce Canyon overlook is a perfect way to start the day. The hoodoos of the canyon appear to glow from within as the sun begins to hit the canyon walls. After a hearty breakfast, you'll cycle along the Sevier and Virgin Rivers entering Zion National Park. Zion, Utah's first national park, is a highlight of this tour. The iconic red cliffs tower over you as you descend the east side of the canyon. You'll pedal for 6 miles along the flat valley floor, and have the entire afternoon to appreciate the incredible views. Enjoy to the fullest in this section of the park without cars! Elevation gain/loss: + 2,038 ft /- 3,966 ft.

      (Meals B, L, D)

Day 4: Walter's Wiggles - Scouts Lookout Hike (3.6 miles)
A panoramic vista point awaits as you wind your way up “Walter’s Wiggles” to “Scouts Lookout.” Scared of heights? You may prefer a more leisurely stroll to a beautiful waterfall. Prefer to cycle? Choose between scenic and challenging biking inside Zion National Park and along its border (no van support). The Park Service runs free and frequent shuttles from the hotel through town, to the visitor's center, and to the Park's valley floor. Customize your experience! Elevation gain/loss: + 1,115 ft / - 1,115 ft.

      (Meals B)

Day 5: Hike in Virgin River’s Narrows (5.1 miles)
Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to walk the Virgin River’s Narrows. This is a stunningly gorgeous slot canyon with 1,000 feet high walls towering overhead. The canyon is narrow and the river covers the ground wall-to-wall in some places, so prepare to wade in and out of ankle-deep water as you hike in passageways less than 50 feet wide. Don't worry, we'll give you walking sticks and wading boots so you can enjoy this awesome experience! Today there is little to no elevation gain, but be prepared for wet hiking over uneven terrain!

      (Meals B, L, D)

Day 6: Zion Canyon ride and farewell (32 miles)
Say goodbye with one last ride in Zion Canyon. Soon, you'll turn west along the Virgin River where more fascinating scenery awaits. This biking and hiking tour ends after lunch, where a 45-minute shuttle will bring you back to St. George. If flying out of St. George, please arrange flights for 7pm or later. Elevation gain/loss: + 1,549 ft / - 1,915 ft.
