Day 1: Geneva
Geneva, nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva, is renowned for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, picturesque Old Town, and stunning natural beauty. Upon arrival, you can explore iconic landmarks like the Jet d'Eau and Old Town, or consider a leisurely boat cruise on Lake. In the evening, you may want to head to Carouge for its bohemian atmosphere and vibrant nightlife.Day 2: Geneva - Annecy (35 mi / 57 km)
Starting by tracing the Swiss/French border southwards towards Annecy, you'll be greeted by the scenic Mont Salève, often referred to as Geneva's balcony. The route offers a delightful mix of short single trails, unpaved roads, and tranquil country lanes. The day's highest point at Croix de Vin (850m), provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Descend into the charming town of Copponex before a brief ascent to Allonzier-la-Caille. Conclude the ride with a gentle descent into Annecy.
This evening, take a stroll through the charming Old Town or relax by the shores of Lake Annecy. Explore boutiques and cafes, visit the Château d'Annecy, or enjoy some delicious Savoyard cuisine at local restaurants.

Departing from Doussard, brace yourself for the main ascent of the day along a stunning forest trail to Col du Mont Cherel, offering sweeping vistas of the Aravis and Belledonne mountains. The rewarding descent into Jarsy follows, and en route to Montmélian, you'll pass through the wine-producing "Combe de Savoie'' near the Massif du Bauges, designated as a UNESCO World Geopark for its geographical significance.This evening in Montmélian, dinner is included!
