Accompanied by our charming motor yacht, we get to know this sparsely populated part of Croatia. Breathtaking scenic experiences and cultural highlights await you! The highlights of the trip are the town centers of Split and Dubrovnik, which are listed as UNESCO world heritage sites. We cycle the islands of Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Lastovo, Mljet, and Šipan. Experience the interaction of sea and land, culture and nature up close and personal.

Daily program

The direction of this tour alternates each week. Both itineraries are detailed below.

Split to Dubrovnik

Day 1: Split
Individual arrival in Split. Meet the crew at Split Harbour on board; check-in starts between 2:00-2:30pm. About 4:30pm, a guided city tour offers you the opportunity to visit the former Palace of Emperor Diocletian and learn about Split's transformation into the city it has become. The boat will stay the night in Split, providing you with a chance to experience Split’s nightlife.

Day 2: Split – Island of Brač: Pučišća – Bol – Island of Hvar: Jelsa (14 miles/23 km)
We cruise to the island of Brač, which is world-renowned for it's limestone. Used in the construction of parts of the White Huse and the German Reichstaf building in Berlin. radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington D.C. and in the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once we have arrived on Brač we cycle from the picturesque harbor town of Pučišća, known internationally for its stone masonry college, across the island to Bol. Close by lies the famous‚ Golden Horn‘, a popular Croatian beach famous for its unique shape. Keen swimmers can take a swim here before continuing on by boat to Jelsa on the island of Hvar.

Day 3: Hvar Island: Jelsa – Stari Grad – Hvar – Island of Vis (22 miles/35 km)
Today’s cycling tour leads us to Stari Grad and later on to the opposite side of the Island of Hvar. After a short break, we cycle through lavender fields and small villages till we get to the island's capital.

Make use of the time and go for a little stroll through the city of Hvar before boarding the boat. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish fortress towering high above the city.

Continue by boat to the evening's final destination, the Island of Vis.

Day 4: Island of Vis– Korčula Island (20 miles/32 km)
Although the Island of Vis is the farthest inhabited island from Mainland Croatia, it still carries a rich history. Over 2300 years ago, the island was home to the Greek colony of Issa. Due to its location, the island has long served as a military zone and was prohibited to tourism until the dissolution of its military use in 1995. The island is now filled with plenty of beautiful landscapes that you will enjoy cycling through.

Today's cycling route will start in the town of Vis and cycle around the entirety of the Island. Visiting the harbour of Komiža, you will have the opportunity to stop for coffee and possible a traditional lunch before cycling back to the boat. This evening, the boat sets off toward the harbor of Vela Luka where the boat will dock for the night.

Day 5: Korčula Island: Vela Luka - Korčula town (37.5 miles/60 km)

Today you will tour the island of Korčula all the way to Korčula city. A mild Mediterranean climate and a broad variety of different landscapes await us here. Take your time, and remember to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighboring islands.

The picturesque town of Korčula competes with Venice for the honor of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Use the evening to wander through the fishbone alleyways and soak up the vibes of this stylish town. A guided city tour will give you an overview of the city and its features.

Day 6: Korčula Island – Pelješac Peninsula: Orebić – Trstenik – Mljet Island (16-18 miles/25-30 km)

While enjoying breakfast, the boat will cruise to the Pelješac Peninsula. Enjoy the view of the Sv. Ilija mountains from a distance as the boat makes its way to the harbor of Orebić. As you approach the peninsula you will also be able to see the vineyards along the steep mountainside. This unique wine region is home to the famous Plavac and Dingač wines.

From the harbor, you will follow the coast to Trstenik, where we board the boat for lunch as you set sail to the lush Island of Mljet for another cycle tour or opt for a hike through the serene Mljet National Park. This evening is spent in Pomena on the Island of Mljet.

Day 7: Mljet Island – Dubrovnik (17.5 miles/28 km)
The abundant woodlands of Mljet provides such a lovely environment it is thought that Homer chose it as the set of his epic poem the "Odyssey". The Island of Mljet is considered by many to be Ogygia, the home of the Nymph Calypso, by whom the legendary Greek king Odysseus was held for seven years as she tried to convince him to marry her and obtain immortality.

With this beautiful, forested island as your backdrop you will start the tour from Pomena and cycle to the city of Sobra. After arriving in Sobra, return to the boat and enjoy the last crossing after an adventurous week. After arrival in Dubrovnik, there is plenty of time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage city and to take part in a guided city tour.

A cheerful evening meal on board the boat gives you time to celebrate the success of the week with fellow travelers and tour guides.

Day 8: Dubrovnik
After breakfast, disembarkation takes place until 9:00am.

Extension

Sinj

This extension is available before your bike and boat tour if beginning in Split or after your bike and boat tour ending in Split.

Enjoy an additional 3-days in the town of Sijn, exploring the heart of Dalmatia. This extension program is designed to provide you with the free time to discover the area at your own pace while also providing you with a guided walking tour of the historic town center. You also have the option to add guided activities during your liesure time.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Sinj*
After checking into your hotel enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a stroll around the historic old town.

*If booking the extension prior to the bike and boat tour, you will arrive to Sinj on your own. If booking the extension after the tour, you will have a transfer from the boat to Sinj.

Day 2: Exploring Sinj and surroundings.
Today you have the first half of the day to explore the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Sinj. During this time, you could choose to add an optional activity (listed below) or explore one of the museums in the area. In the afternoon you will take a guided walking tour through the old town of Sinj.

Day 3: Departure from Sinj*
*If booking the extension prior to the bike and boat tour, you will have a transfer to the boat. If booking the extension after the tour, you will depart on your own for your other travels or to return home.

Private Jeep-Tour
Travel into the scenic landscapes of the Dinara Mountians with this guided tour by all-terrain vehicle. You will explore hidden trails that boast views of the Cetina River and Vrdovo Plateau. Later you will visit Dabar Bay and Lake Peruča with an option to dive into the warm waters.

This guided tour includes transport in an ATV with a/c, sightseeing tours of Sinj and the Kamičak fortress, a traditional lunch, one drink, bottled water, and souvenir photos.

Kayak tour on the Cetina river
Dive into the crystal clear waters of the Cetina, one of the most beautiful riverscapes in Croatia.

This guided kayak tour is 2.5 hrs in length and includes lunch.

Private Quad-Tour
Explore the Dinara mountains and Cetina river valley as you take a ride this breathtaking landscape. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit and towel to take a dip in Lake Peruča.

This guided tour includes transfers to/from the tour to your hotel, a traditional lunch, one drink, bottled water, and souvenir photos.

Please note the driver of the quad must have a class B driver's license.

Surface and terrain

The tours will take us up to a height of 200-500 m above sea-level. The day-tours up to 28 miles/45km will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants will need to be able to master long and steep climbs. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend time on board the boat, instead of taking a planned cycle-tour.

Guided group pace: On this program, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on these tours on a regular bicycle should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace.

Another possibility is Zadar airport. A taxi ride from Split airport to the ship is approximately €20; a taxi from Dubrovnik airport to the ship is approximately €40.

Private transfer between Split Airport and Split harbor or Dubrovnik Airport and Gruž harbor is available for €30 per person/per direction (minimum 2 participants).

Please note that the bikes are deliberately not equipped with water bottle holders. There is room in the saddle bag to carry a bottle of water, along with everything else you need for the daily rides.

Bike Protection:

Pedals:
The bikes will have flat pedals. If you want to bring your own pedals, please bring your own shoes and also the necessary equipment to change the pedals. The guide on board the boat can assist you in attaching them to your rental bike.

Helmets:
It is required to wear helmets on this tour. In order to guarantee optimum protection, we request that you bring your own helmet and - for your own safety - wear it on all bike tours. A limited number of helmets are available on board to rent, at the time of booking, though it is highly recommended to bring your own helmet.

Please note: Clients are more than welcome to bring their own bike along. However, be aware that we are not insured for the private bikes on board and that all maintenance of private bikes are the responsibility of the owner. Additionally, it is important for us to know if the private bikes are standard models, MTBs or e-bikes. Onboard of our boats we have a weight restriction of 22 kg for all private bikes (excluding batteries) for health and safety reasons. Bikes above this weight will not be accepted onboard.
