    • Bike to the best of Berlin

The Berlin Highlights bike tour squeezes all the very best of Berlin into an exciting 3.5-hour ride! Enjoy the benefits of bike rental and a family-friendly day tour suitable for children.

Cycle through the trendy neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg to a remaining piece of the iconic Berlin Wall, adorned with thought-provoking murals. You’ll ride to the moving Holocaust Memorial, standing just streets away from the Tiergarten, with its cheerful strollers and green expanse. This contrast is heightened on a drizzly day, when the stones of the memorial appear to be weeping. Cycling through the Tiergarten, listening to the lively chorus of birdsong in the canopy above, you’ll experience Berlin’s garden sanctuary. Honeysuckle sweetens the air and rhododendrons erupt in color beside you.

The bicycle tour takes in Germany’s historic government building, the Reichstag, before you ride to the city's famous Brandenburg Gate. Checkpoint Charlie is a must-see, offering opportunities to pose with guards in authentic uniforms. The guided tour continues to the Gendarmenmarkt, a stunning square home to the Berlin Concert Hall, as well as French and German churches to delight the eyes. You’ll ride to Bebelplatz, site of the famous book burnings, and on to the Prussian boulevard Unter den Linden.

Parking your bike on Museum Island, you'll be astounded by the beauty of the Berlin Cathedral (the Berliner Dom) and the newly rebuilt Berlin City Palace. The day tour finishes on a 368m high as you take in the landmark Berlin TV Tower at Alexanderplatz.

Best of Berlin in a 3-hour ride

        · Berlin Highlights Bike Tour

Who would think that a cold beginning of March day, would make such a great revealing experience of Berlin for a first-time visitor, like myself? There were 5 of us riding in a group, on Sunday morning, which made it a perfect day for the city's discovery, since it's very low in traffic on Sundays.
Our guide Sasha was beyond great, a true Berliner with family stories dating back from the time of the Cold War, and himself having witnessed the Fall of the Wall. The fact that he's been working as a tour guide for over a decade, tells enough about how passionate he is about the job he does.
The ride itinerary is very well thought out, covering the major sites of the city, but also some of the less-known points and neighborhoods, which gives you a bigger picture.
Overall, very authentic experience of getting to know better such a historically and culturally abundant city, as Berlin definitely is.
