Cycle through the socialist story

Experience old and new on this incredible guided bike tour of Zagreb, cycling through the city’s reinvention after WWII. Your guide will inform you all about life in socialist Zagreb as you ride to the less well-advertized jewels in Zagreb’s crown. Enjoy the benefits of bike rental and a family-friendly day tour suitable for children.

Beginning with a cycle to the Croatian National Theater, you'll be taken aback by the exceptionally beautiful Baroque Revival style. You'll go on to discover the Green Horseshoe, consisting of 8 gorgeous parks full of tumbling fountains and flowers erupting in color. You’ll cycle right through this exquisite natural paradise.

Your bicycle tour follows the cycle path along the Sava River to Bundek Park, a stunning lake with sandy beaches providing an oasis for swimmers and picnickers. Ride on the Contemporary Art Museum, Croatia’s biggest and most modern museum, before exploring some of Zagreb’s most eye-catching and thought-provoking street art that can’t be captured in a frame.

Interesting tour of the city. Guide was very knowledgable

“It was a great ride around town with interesting commentary. We've been on tons of bike tours in many countries. This one had fewer stops, and longer talking at the stops. Guide was able to answer any and all questions, and we learned a lot about the city and country.”
