    • Vibrant vineyards and picturesque panoramas

Pedal along Mornington Peninsula on this guided bike tour that takes in scenic sights from Arthur's Seat, picturesque panoramas of Port Phillip Bay, and several wine tasting stops at cellar doors, as well as lunch at a vineyard.

You'll start your day tour by pedaling towards Arthur's Seat, a granite hill that towers 304 meters above sea level. Once you reach the top, you'll enjoy a bird's eye view out over Port Phillip Bay, the Mornington and Bellarine peninsulas, and the glinting glass skyscrapers of Melbourne in the far distance. After taking some time to capture precipitous pictures or simply standing a while to enjoy the vantage point, you'll hop back on your bike and pedal towards your first wine tasting.

Your guide on this day tour will explain the history of viticulture on the Mornington Peninsula, dating back to the early 1970s when a group of winemakers identified similarities between the area's climate and that of renowned wine regions such as Burgundy in France. With careful planning and lots of hard work, the peninsula is one of Australia’s best regions for organic and biodynamic practices, helping to preserve the health of the land and enhance the quality of the grapes. Cycling along, your guide will explain how the region's cool climate and fertile soils create conducive conditions for producing outstanding Australian wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Over the course of this day tour you'll stop at several cellar doors, which are small tasting rooms attached to wineries. These cellar doors offer an intimate and personalized experience for wine enthusiasts, allowing you to engage with the wine producers at length and gain a sense of each winery's unique terroir and production process. You'll then ride on in the epicurean spirit of this bicycle tour as you cycle through the rolling hills, underneath the canopy of cedar trees and towards another winery. Here, you'll make a stop for a glass of wine, beer, or a soft drink and a pizza lunch with views of the vines to replenish you for the final stretch of your ride back to base.
